Nice hike, definitely a mountain biking trail but a bit too rocky for me and my bike.

Great trail. My Strava app gave it 3.8 miles. Lots of ups and downs twists and turns. Beautiful views.

1/4/20 - It’s currently the only trail open in the park. The observation deck is closed. A sign at the start of this trail states that there is no view of the bridge from this trail right now and it is more of a “nature walk”. Similar to another review, the park ranger also told us that it wouldn’t be worth it since we were looking for an actual hike. Save your money and time. Skip this place until Pine Trail and Waterfall Trail reopen.

For MTB This is not an "easy" trail very Rocky and technical. Listed as moderate but once you're there 75% of the trail is rated as difficult. Grrat for experienced riders I'm sure but not though lacking steadfast confidence

Easy trail to follow. Great for people and dogs without much trail experience.

We agree with Cassandra a couple of reviews down. An excellent trail system. It is now dominated by bikes. We don't mind encountering bikes once and a while and most riders are friendly and courteous. But the elimination of the parking definitely increased the bike traffic. Wonder if this was intentional on the part of SRP? Having hiked this system a couple of times over the past few years, then the last time parking on the bridge with "no parking" signs and dodging bikes, we decided to skip these trails recently. Too bad.

Beautiful trail. Great to do in late fall/winter. Lots of mountain bikers, but plenty of room to pass.

Creek was too high (about waist high) to cross due to the recent rains and was icy cold - so I chose not to cross and went up the other way with the creek. Beautiful and not a soul in sight. Also, saw no way to pay. Something that opened was covered with a black bag and taped down (I assume where you’d typically pay) Guessing this time of year it’s not required, but unsure.

Great day! There is a lot of rock climbing. There was a recent rain, so the streams had a lot of water. There was one area that was difficult to cross. We both ended up in the water a bit. Overall, it was a fun invigorating hike. Just basically follow the stream to the top of the falls.

Was about .1mi into the hike and saw a mountain lion cross through the trail about 75ft infront of me, I read the sign saying there has been one in the area but never thought I would actually see one

This map clockwise is Hawes to Ridge to Saguaro, if you want to follow the signs. Nice views of a red Mountain and Salt River. Lots of bikes.
