any 2wd truck, jeep, suv will make it to the top. But don't try it in a stock car or minivan unless your willing to loose some front bumper wind skirt of maybe the bumper.

Wonderful hike! Excellent views and different trails during hike, a bit of rock but trail well marked. Enjoyed the up and down and the views. The trail is well marked and well maintained. Loved the benches along the trail too!

Great hike! Bit of up and down on trail...warm on sunny sides. Enjoyed the views. PS: phone stopped recording where service wasn’t available.

Rather repetitive, beautiful scenery though! Water levels are quite low.

Easy and thoroughly enjoyed the snow hike.. This a good family hike with children and would have to cross the stream in 3 places

keep going until you reach the waterfall! We went right after a snowfall and it was beautiful to see and hear the icy water rushing, including the waterfall itself! The water wheel itself greets you to the left before you begin the trail. There are also lovely memorials for victims of flash flooding; we stopped and paid tribute as reminders of both human life and the strength of nature. We walked on ice over the frozen streams! if you follow the trickles, they become larger and larger bodies of frozen water, until you reach the rushing falls. There is a carved chair that you can sit in at the very end near the falls! I would definitely recommend this hike and will most likely visit again during another season to check out the difference. Be mindful of the massive horse pies along the route, though I rather take that than the unnecessary tagging done to the beautiful rocks :-( Beautiful hike, lovely natural workout. I highly recommend!

The trail isn’t too difficult at all. There were some extremely wet/slushy spots that made some parts rather slippery. The waterfall itself was nice, and the water was still a decent temperature to swim. Scenery is nice, but again, nothing out of this world. Wouldn’t rate this hard like AllTrails has it, but it is a decent hike. Happy to have done it, wouldn’t be one that I did twice.

Trail is moderate, well-marked and took us about 2.5 hours to complete. There were many beautiful views and we saw a Gila Monster halfway along the trail. We went on a Saturday and it was not busy. Maybe passed a dozen or so people the whole time. Want to do this one again!

Beautiful views!

Good hike. Moderate. Took us about 2.5 hours. Several ups and downs, scenic and very enjoyable.

Loved the challenge!! So beautiful! Can’t wait to go again! The waterfall left me speechless

Like this trail. Easy to moderate, lots of ups and downs versus the usual steady hike up then steady hike downhill. Only a few houses visible. GPS put the loop at 5.86 miles and it took us about 2 1/2 hours.

Great views Saw 4 deer. Bobcat. And some rabbits 2:30 to do the loop. Highly recommend

Going down is the warm up. Get prepared to hike back. Do the extra mile at the end for the waterfall.

Everything and more for a relatively short hike. Beautiful views and you can make some cattle friends as well! Also gives you an option to explore further and take multiple routes.

I wouldn’t recommend bringing dogs. Took us a little bit to find, but glad we did. The directions in one of the comments helped a lot!

Easy hike with great scenery along the way. Dog and kid friendly. Nice to have a waterfall hike in Arizona

easy hike, only thing to rate it as moderately is its length.

What a watery wonderland!! :-D

Great trail! The first couple of miles are somewhat generic, but once you make it down to the creek it’s really nice.
The trail gets confusing towards the end but keep going as the waterfall all the way at the end makes it worth the trek!

It's one of the tuffer trails of fossil creek. Waterfalls are beautiful but not easily accessible. Be prepared for this one because the road is very rocky and it can hurt the legs.

Things to must have.
1. Good trekking shoes
2. Water
3. Power bars

Great trail. Easy side of moderate, lots of ups and downs. We went in the early morning, and there's a good deal of shade to rest and take it all in. We went clockwise. Although there is a $7 fee to get into the park, if you go to the visitor center, you can get a 3-pass or a 5-pass that takes the cost down to $5 per visit. We will be doing this trail again. This is our favorite trail so far in the area, but I would rate it to be a very easy side of "moderate" compared to some other moderate hikes we have done across the country.

My pup and I love this trail. It's an easy hike with plenty of spots to stop and take a break by the stream. It took us about 2 hours to get to the waterfall and back to our car, but we stopped plenty of times so the pup could play in the water.

Actually 9 miles including trail head. Don't do it if you aren't ready! Waterfall is fabulous. I can't wait to do it again.

Nice trail for walking, not a lot of loose rocks. Enough climbs to get the heart going.
