I’d say this trail is more moderate than easy. It would be easy for the fit seasoned hiker, so overall a more moderate-easy for the average joe. There are a large amount of stairs initially, then more nearer the middle and a ton near the end of the hike downwards which you then have to come up on your way back. The only downside is how heavily trafficked the trail is.

What a beautiful trek ! Steep all the long way with some relaxing meters flat.
The view at the top is amazing !
I made it running and walking in 3h30.
Good memories

Came up from Texas, hiked this in late September, very wet. We did the trail straight to peak 2. Excellent hike, lots of stair climbing, both wood and placed rock. Up to the last bit towards peak 2 it's simple, but a heavy leg workout. The top bit of the trail just before peak 2 starts having some tighter squeezes and chains to help you up steep inclines, and then there's a switchback. We had to stop there because of the wet and some of our party didn't have shoes that could handle it. Disappointing, but we'll be back in a couple months to beat it!

Sept.2,2018. Started hike around 11am. Arrived back in parking lot around 9pm. Took us about 6hrs before we got up at the ridge but the view is soooo rewarding! Bring lots of food and water. Trail isn’t hard, it is well maintained but it is a long hike.

The look out along the way is a really nice way to have a break, grab a drink and stretch a bit. It’s a little bit like Grouse Grind but closer to nature rather than man made. The view when you get up top is very nice.

very difficult but unforgettably scenic.

Took me and a little dog 2 hrs to the top and then 1.5 hrs back to the bottom. Only saw one stream on the way up so bring your own water for the dog. Lots of roots for the second half of the hike so bring good footwear. Not too much room at the top to enjoy the view as compared to say, Quarry Rock. No bugs right now but was windy and chilly.

Awesome trail. Even on a cloudy day the trail was great. Took me two hours to go up, without any stop and three hours to go down, taking my time picking up mushrooms and berries. A bit hard to find the Howe Sound Crest trail at first but once you've find it, it's very easy to find your way to the top. (Tip: Follow Howe sound EAST trail). I highly recommend this one !

It’s a work out for this hike as it’s a 2000 ft continuous rise, leading to spectacular views of Squamish town and Howe Sound, take snacks or lunch so you can relax and enjoy the views.

Beautiful scenic ocean views, gorgeous huge trees and mossy forest. I loved it here and look forward to going back! Well behaved dogs are allowed to be off leash which is fantastic. It's steep in some parts but really well maintained.

AMAZING.

Great hike with a satisfying goal. if you're looking for a more challenging route, take a right up the hill when you reach the fork in the road. This will let you see some beautiful classic North Van scenery. It certainly is more of a challenge. You'll reach the waterfall in another hour once the paths rejoin. Once there, be aware of the crows! On the way back, take the other path for an easier route.

Easy and dog friendly

pretty rough but so worth it. Best climb yet.

i really really really really like the waterfall

This was my first “real” hike.. newbie here.. it was hard but so worth it! We got lucky with the fog lifting just as we reached Eagles Bluff. It gets busy quickly so I suggest going before 9 am.

The stairs at the start are quite challenging, but the view is well worth it

Other than being very busy this is a great trail!

Awesome hike! It should definitely be rated as Very Difficult. The first 6kms are endless, you just keep going up. Then, a couple more to get to a flatter portion of the trail to prepare for the super steep last climb to Panorama Ridge. Totally worth it, but it’s a tough one, make sure you are in a good physical condition!

Did this one yesterday as a day hike. Not only is it a great workout, but the views at the end are some of the best I have ever seen.

I live in Abbotsford, so we left at 6:15 am and were hiking by 8:30. Took us 4.5 hours up, and 4 hours down, plus 1 hour at the top for a total of 9.5 hours (without driving). So, definitely doable for a dayhike, but be sure to leave early to give yourself lots of time!

It was perfect hiking weather, but be sure to bring extra layers as it was quite windy at the top (a good rain jacket should keep out the wind). Saw lots of people wearing nothing but shorts and a t-shirt, and I bet they didn't get to enjoy the views for very long!

The last 6 km going back down was rather tedious, with a seemingly endless number of switchbacks and lots of dust, but this doesn't detract from the awesomeness of the rest of the hike. Also, we were shocked at how busy the parking lot was, so this is another reason to start early!

First, this is not a lightly trafficked trail. I hiked it today with hundreds of others. Ruined it for me. And so many dogs off leash!

But the hike itself is perfect if you’re not looking to commit a full day. Steep and long enough to know you’ve had a workout with picturesque lakes to stop at and a beautiful view from the top.

Beautiful hike with a rewarding destination at the top. I love the view from peak 2. Make sure to pack a snack to enjoy at the top. The chipmunks are friendly and will devour any food left behind. It gets a little chilly at the top so pack a light jacket.

The direct trail to the lighthouse view point took less than 8 minutes. The view was OK. If the private gate nearby is open, enter the driveway and you'll be surprised how much closer the lighthouse is from there. Juniper point will also surprise you with a great view at the end.

It was a rather hot day that we did this hike. It was well planned as the canopy & proximity to the lakes kept us nice & cool. It's more of a walk than a hike, but it was worth it.

a LOT of uphill. But well worth the climb! Luckily it's not ALL that steep. The hike to the Main lake was well worth it. Sat on the dock & ate lunch & thought about how nice it would be next time to go up the Taylor/Black Tusk trail.

Nice easy hike with a great reward if u can get right to the falls and have a refreshing swim.

Amazing!

On a Monday at 9am there were a ton of cars. The hike is not difficult. All switchbacks but doable. I completed it in 3hrs and 40min. Took a 40 min break at the lake to enjoy it. Mind you I ran part of the trail.

Think it would of been worth it to go to panorama if I didn't have somewhere to be.

The lake is drop dead gorgeous. Everything about this hike is easily accessible.

a moderate hike with a nice view of the falls at the end, but one can go beyond the falls. Based on the info, going beyond the falls will encounter some challenging routes.
