Great workout. Been in CO about 2 months and it’s one of our favorite things so far. Definitely pack lots of water.

Great “hike”. I’ll be honest, and I got altitude sickness, so for newcomers/first timers bring water/a snack for the top. Always busy so expect traffic. Things I didn’t like, parking, but there is a lot and shuttle you can take.
Also please DONT listen to your music and play it for the whole trail to hear. You are ruining the hike for everyone and no wants to hear your trap tunes! (Sorry, rant for the day, I’m done!)

I've been in Colorado for 4 years but, in Manitou Springs for 3. I started doing it after I got here but, hated it and quit after about 30 climbs. I got serious again with it about 2 months ago and do it 6 times a week at 5:20am. As of yesterday my 81st trip up and down is in the books...it also helps that the walk from my front door is about a mile to incline trailhead!

Beautiful views!

Great workout. Started at 6:30 and got to see great view of sunrise. Very few people on the trail that early. Great 60 min morning hike

great hike, a bit steep but short with great views. very little ice/snow.

Extreme workout. Hydrate hydrate hydrate.

Nice easy hike

Love the incline! Great leg workout!

My husband and I took 3 babies and our 5 year old today. It was beautiful but much harder of a climb than we expected carrying one baby in a pack and pushing the other 2 babies in a double bob stroller while the 5yo walked. Water still 99% frozen but beautiful still!

Rough going at first but worth it

Our family’s first hike after moving to the Colorado Springs area. Loved it. I carried our 1.5yo toddler on my back with minimal difficulty and for not being in great “high altitude” shape yet. 6yo daughter did great as well. Most difficult part of the hike is the loose gravel coming down, just gotta take your time. Beautiful/very windy view at the top. Look for the Visitor’s Log inside the green ammo box at the summit.

Great hike, even after a snow. Great views at the top. Took the 5 mile loop, fairly easy with one decent ascent. Saw lots of fresh mountain lion tracks, keep your little people and fur babies close!

One of the best local hikes in the springs! Good little workout at the end for the final summit push. Excellent views over North Cheyenne Canon.

Very challenging!! Definitely should have worked out more before!! Views are beautiful but the sense of accomplishment at the top is worth the pain!

Haven't been here in 17 years. Went up in January and it was intense with amazing views. Walk down felt like it took longer, watch out for trail runners on your way down.
Cant wait to do it in the summer.

Beautiful area especially seeing it right after the recent snow fall Wednesday 02-21-18.. Little easy for my taste as it left me wanting more but still loved its beauty. Snow packed did not feel the need to put microspikes on but slippery in places.

Light snow in the shade but very hikeable in February. Combined with Raspberry for a nice two-fer.

I was pleasantly surprised by this trail. The map at the base and the signage are a little different. Map names each trail while signs name loops that aren't named on the map. Once I figured out what the signs were referencing I found this area to be quite nice. There are so many options from a short 1 mile jaunt to the top of the butte to watch the sunset or an eight mile loop. I did the 5 mile loop which offer some nice views and includes interesting rock formations. I will definitely come back in the summer for the wildflowers. Nice hike. Mount Cutler was easy so we came back to try Mount Muscoco. We had some snow recently so it made for a challenging climb and slide coming down. Breathtaking view from the top. Near the top became harder and keep an eye on not wandering off the trail.

Quick hike, rewarding views!!!

It’s a must do. Was my first time today and damn what a workout

amazing. definitely a workout more than a hike

awesome trail

love the exercise you get out of it. best time is early in the morning.

Great trail. Hiked on 2/2/18 - no snow on the trail. There are a couple of smaller trails that intersect - remember this is a mainly switchback trail. There are three places in particular that go either left, right or straight - go left up the switchback on all three.

Very challenging. Love all the work at the beginning and then the easy walk down.
