Trail is in good condition. Good hike on a hot day, mostly shaded. Not the best views on the way up. Awesome view at the top.

Nice hike for the view you get. It’s short, do plan some other hikes or adventures in the area to make it worth the trip. The ride in is a bit rough, so go slow on the roads.

Great easy little hike. Took my daughter and had lunch at the falls.

low elevation easy trail. but a great summer trail with the river to cool off in.
the falls have a pool below it if you feel courageous enough to jump in.

What a gorgeous hike. Huge payoff for a short distance (with a well maintained trail). We went early to beat the hottest pet of the day and felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. It was peaceful and beautiful. Thimble berries were ripe.

Hiked this with our two young kiddos, who are experienced but do need to be reminded to stay away from the edge. They thought scrambling down to the rocks was great!

Nice trail around the lake with just a couple short, challenging inclines. Lake itself is warm and clear. Steep grade down to the water. Saw some other people who had brought floaties and coolers to make a day of it. Great idea.

This trail is a better version of the stair master. Make sure to carry plenty of water, sunblock, and bug repellent.

I’m giving five stars because I finished it. Oh my butt kicker.

Very relentless hike up the whole way. Got towards the top where the ridge loop is and we were hearing really strange noises that freaked out our daughter. Turned around right before the end. Thought downhill would be easier but very tiring. 5 hours total with lots of stopping to rest. Would rate this hard not a moderate hike.

An amazing easy hike . I will be back

Beautiful short forested hike to the falls.

on Crystal Falls

We did this trail early in the morning and it was still busy. It was a nice walk although there were lots of puddles and the trail was narrow through a few stretches. When we got at the falls it was super busy. No way you could take a picture without having strangers in the background. lol
I would do this again in a few years maybe.

If your looking for something really easy this ones for you!

It’s nice cause it’s really shady, and right beside the bustling river

The Fall is a bit small but a waterfall none the less

I went it early July and it was still really muddy

Keep your dogs on leash at the top of the falls, mine went to the top and she slipped and slid all the way down... luckily she didn’t get hurt

If your looking for a nice easy hike this ones for you

But if your looking for something more challenging you will want to look at other trials in the area

This hike was kick butt! The view was so worth it though. It is a grind the whole way up, just make sure to pack lots of water and a can do attitude!

Great day hike starting at the shores of lake cushman. Strait up the whole way. We took the short side of the lollypop up and the long way down to save the knees which I would recommend.

Let’s be honest, this is a nature walk, not a hike but the waterfall reward makes it worth checking out for the veteran hikers. Parking was hard to come by on this holiday Monday and the trail was quite busy. There were loads of people in flip flops and although the trail was very muddy, they did just fine. The falls themselves are pretty but way too many people for my liking to visit on a weekend. I’ll stick to the more challenging hikes to thin out the herd.

short good hike. I like to start from Oxford st rather than Shaughnessy st.

Very pleasant hike. Not too challenging beyond the first few hundred feet of climbing. Not heavily trafficked for a Saturday in June. Saw some folks on horses- beware of the horse poo. Had some fun on the forest service roads - a good area for 4x4 driving.

A few other people hiked to the level where the upper falls was and I followed suit. absolutely amazing! I stood behind the upper falls, glorious hike! I'd you're going to get off the trail you absolutely want shoes with good tread. if you want to behave yourself this is a slightly challenging but quick hike to a gorgeous Washington falls

The risk to reward for this hike is no question. For less than a mile 1-way you get to see an amazing falls!!!

Trail never stops going up. Most of the down trees are when you go left at the Y towards the summit. I took the clockwise route and the hike down from the summit across the ridge line was very nice. Poles are not essential, but make the hike easier. Some small baskets on your poles help with sinking into the organics on this mostly tree covered hike.

Nice river access for dogs. A little muddy. Easily accessible. Can be crowded on a weekend.

Beautiful falls, only takes about 45 minutes to walk there (at a decent pace). Super easy, more of a walk than a hike.
Perfect outing for young families too, if you want to get out and enjoy nature without going overboard and having to carry your child half the way.
We went yesterday when it was quite hot out so it was perfect to cool off in the water once we reached the falls.

Lots of downed trees on the loop. This was above my capacity. Definitely the mother of all staircase climbers. Really no breaks.
