Very unique place!!

Great trail to take the family on, no matter what the age. Plenty of places to stop and rest if you need to.
Do bring food and water, not very many places to stop before or after hike.

Easy hike
Beautiful falls

I love this trail! So glad I found it!

Visited in the fall after a rain and thought the falls would be flowing a little bit better. But it was still a nice hike and cool sight to see.

The road to get to the trailhead is rough and parking is limited but for the sights you encounter on this trail those are a small price to pay. Shining example of what the Natural State has to offer.

Maybe because my expectations weren't high but I ended up loving this trail. It has a beautiful natural bridge, waterfall and cave. Would return in a heartbeat.

It rained during the entire hike but was pleasantly surprised how well the trees over the trail kept most of the rain from getting on us. Great trail for kids and adults, just wish the dirt road to the trail weren’t so bumpy/rocky and long!

Great hike with wonderful views. Lots of little trails to go on and get great pictures. Not a strenuous hike. Watch your step once out on the rocks. There are cracks and holes one could fall in. Wouldn’t recommend bringing the kids. I would recommend doing King’s Bluff while there.

Please do not ride trail when closed on that site. Riding wet or muddy trails ruts the trail making it difficult to repair and can create dangerous conditions for users. Please follow appropriate direction arrows for biking or walking/running. Most of trail they are OPPOSITE for SAFETY reasons. Dog leashes are the law.

Stunning stunning stunning! The views are worth it! Not kid friendly near the point. Little streams along the way that had some water flowing. A great hike!

Even after the rains, the water was just trickling but it is still worth the hike to see.

We hiked up to the top of Eden Falls and ventured into cave! If you want to crawl into the cave, bring a head lamp. There wasn’t much water flowing out which kept us dry. There is a spot where you have to crawl/get very low. If you are able, do it! The cave and hike to it, are not kid friendly. The hike to Eden Falls is kid friendly. The trail has been washed out in some spots but still very easily accessible.

To all of the hikers who think this trail would be better without all of the mountain bikers, this trail wouldn't exist if not for the bikers. DORBA (Dallas Off Road Bike Association) created and maintains the trail. Thank the bikers as they pass you for providing such a gem in the DFW metroplex.

Great trail, even before you get to the stunning views. Rocky and moderately taxing, but nothing crazy.

This is my new go-to trail with my dog. Free to get in during the day at the Murrell Park entrance. I would consider this a mountain biking trail that allows hikers. Lots of bikes! Make sure you don’t have headphones in so you can hear the bikers coming up behind you. Everyone has been very friendly when passing and let you know how many are behind them and when it’s clear to keep walking. Definitely worth exploring!
The trail is narrow and one way with spots to turn around if you don’t want to do the whole loop.

Great trail, will definitely be back. Happened upon this one because the first trail we went to was closed. Bike traffic, but nothing bad, all bikers were courteous. Walked about 7 miles of the trails today, will more than likely go back next weekend and do a different portion.

Way too many mosquitoes as a result of recent rains and warm weather made it unpleasant. Even covered with bug spray we didn’t make it far before turning back. Will try again when the temps drop. Saw a group of hikers turn around almost immediately—now I know why the parking lot was empty even though it was a beautiful day.

Last year, I would have given this trail 6 stars, but I went out several weeks ago and the trails are just overcome by bikes to the point there is backup everywhere. The pace of the trail is slow for the reason when you are on foot since you are always getting off the trail to let the next ten bikers through. This was my favorite trail up until this year as the trails seem narrower and less runner and pedestrian friendly. I think they probably need to think about reclassifying it as a trail for bikers only.

However, with that said, the trails are always clean and those in the park seem to respect the surroundings and keep the site as they found it.

Was worried it would be hard to find, but GPS took us right there - it did called the gravel road off of Highway 21 County Road 5, but it appeared to be marked 9560. Lots of great reviews here that helped assure us we were going the right way. Also was worried from many reviews that it would be super busy and there would be no where to park on a nice, fall, Saturday afternoon. We were able to park right near the trail head though and had all the pictures we wanted at the crag within about 15 minutes. Overall the trail is pretty easy to follow. I agree with moderate difficulty rating, hardest part is the end coming back to the parking area. Waterfalls weren’t really much to see to right now - maybe another time of year would be better.

I am sharing this even though quite embarrassing in hopes someone else does not make the same mistake I did. The trail head is on the opposite of the road from the bulletin board. I wandered around the incorrect side for about 1.5 hrs convinced I saw not just 1 but 2 separate trails on the side of the road with bulletin board. The good news is due to that I got out to the crag much later and the rain had stopped allowing for much better views.

Watch out for bikers but a good trail overall

We were very pleased with this trail. It starts out so simple but there is so much to enjoy all along the way. We took more pictures on this one trail than we have two whole days being in the Ozarks! Even with all of the people that we saw, and barely any water in Eden Falls, it was still our favorite! Take a flashlight so you can enjoy the cave at the end.

I loved this trail. Clearly marked... Provides great views... Easy enough, but not boring at all. If you are going on a nice day I would recommend getting a very early start, so you are not sharing the point with a lot of people. Because it is short with it big pay off it does get busy. Not that that is a bad thing, but it makes it hard to get photos.

The only down side to the trail was getting the the trail head. The road leading to it is gravel, and somewhat steep at the beginning of it. It does level out a bit, but that first part can be hard for certain vehicles to climb.

The water wasn't flowing but it still was an excellent trail. I'll be back.

Very underrated trail. Enjoyed this so much more than centerpoint to goat trail. Something to see and explore all along the way. Would be great for kids. Beware of snakes. Almost stepped on a copperhead in the first mile.

Trail provides incredible photo ops. Trail is difficult at times due to uneven ground. A few steep climbs but overall doable for beginner’s.
