So. Many. Junkies.
This trail shouldn't even be listed on here.
If I had a dog or kids I wouldn't expose either of them to this place.
Stay classy Dallas.

Pretty nice trail. Kept pretty well. Blazes could be marked a little bit better though. Boulder Field was well worth the hike though.

I grew up exploring these trails and there is so many amazing sites that I've came across I've also explored a couple caves on some of the hiking trails there is also a couple spots that overlook the valley and other sites.

A very nice trail with paths that are very fitting to the name. It was my first time hiking there and I absolutely loved it.

Did this trail on a weekday in September and only saw a handful of people on it. Steady decline that didn't require too much hard pedaling and numerous places to take a break along with taking some incredible photos. I parked in Jim Thorpe and had someone drop me off at the White Haven trailhead , which worked to perfection. Looking forward to coming back.

I didn’t go on the actual hike, but we checked out the field and the boards by it. Definitely worth coming to because it was an awesome view and it had interesting history. Check it out!

We took our five and eight year old children on this trek. It was quite the challenge as it took over three hours with their little legs. Using a fitness tracker, we clocked in 7.22 miles! The kids were good spirited about it and felt proud at the end of the hike. I would not recommend taking young children if they do not have the right attitude that day! Bring plenty of healthy snacks and water to keep them motivated!

Stopped on my way home from work one day. So glad I did! It’s a very well kept park. Didnt see any kind of trash around. A white tailed deer jumped out at me as well! Tip: if you’re heading back along the marsh, bring bug spray. I didn’t have any as this was spontaneous and the welts on my legs are itchy!!!

cant wait to go back

We loved it. Although I'm assuming it's rated easy because it's flat. However it's long and I would consider it quite rocky and marshy in most areas through out the treck. We liked the Narrowness of the trail the most and not heavily popular.

Easy trail that leads into town. Great for walking your dog as many others will be doing the same.

For a much better hike, drive to the top of the Alden mountain above Folstown, (Penobscott) and park there. You will find a trail on either side of the road that will take you to either the rock cut on 81s or above Keeler Lake if you head west. All forest.

My husband and I have walked the dyke many times and enjoy it. We've also written our bikes up there. It's good for beginners because it's even and level and paved

old stomping grounds ... nice place to take kids

my wife and I hike this trail a lot, mostly on the winter. Hardly used in winter but can get real busy in spring and summer . Best part of this trail is I can be on it in minutes because it's barely a 100 yard from my house.

Easy hike out and back. The dogs loved every minute of it. We went at a good time during the week so it wasn’t crowded. What an amazing site to see all the boulders.

Nice trail through the woods. Some of it gets a little tight through the rhododendrons but it was very peaceful and relaxing. Boulder field was unique.

Definitely a unique experience climbing on the boulders. Fire roads made it easily accessible while staying in the park.

Great variety of plants and trees such as chestnut, oaks, catalpa, birch, tulip poplars, pine, cedar, firs and more. Goldenrod, Jewel weed, and a collection of other wildflowers line the trail too.

This place is just wow fun to play n explore.

The trail there is 3 stars- boulder field is awesome and would give that 4 stars

We started at the top of the trail. Parked at the Boulder Field lot, crossed the boulders, and started the trek. It is slowly downhill the whole walk down therefore it's slowly uphill the way back. Uneven terrain. Rocky in areas, narrow passages, some trees to crawl over. Beautiful, thick woods. We crossed with a few people on the 3.5 mile each way trip, mostly serene though. Not much to see other than the foliage on this trail and the field.

If you start at the top, you can follow this trail all the way to 534 then cross over and hook up with Hawk Falls Trail.

It is a good place for biking, snowmobiling and cross country skiing. I found it boring for hiking - the scenery is monotonous and the terrain is just flat.
