Definitely a climb on many of the spots going on the trail by the waterfalls which isn’t always well marked. Did some climbing to the side and back. I like the vista but there are better ones in Jim Thorpe. I took the red trail up to the fire line trail and back. Always interesting things to see whether it is remains of the resort that burned down or the underground tunnels by the parking lot. Parking was a little tough as the whitewater rafter buses take many spots away. Beautiful place year round. I have been here when Falls were ice and you think summer is a challenge? I give this five stars because of the workout and fun of the falls but vistas aren’t that great except in the fall when you have better views.

Great day hike! Beautiful waterfall views, moderately hard trek up but it’s a quick loop.

A good day hike and you can see all the high points in 1 go. The bolder formations are great and after the first steeper start, it levels out near the top if you start from the right. The left side has a gentler slope as is good for pets or an easier climb. I'd reccommend going to the top trail, it is a beautiful route.

Great mtb

Great trail, not too far from Philly.

Awesome workout! Treacherous hiking! Short trails, beautiful falls.

first try, didn't finish , have come back :)

Moderately difficult trail. Definitely wear boots. Wet and slippery in several areas. Do the Orange trail to the left to go up. At the top turn right at the fire pit and take the Red Trail. Ironically the first marker you see is a Blue Marker. This is the Red Trail even though the first market is Blue. Several sections could use a grab wire or rope. One slip and you are over the edge. Winter time be prepared for lots of ice.

Great, scenic hike. Take a waterproof backpack, wear proper hiking boots, bring water and a snack. On very nice days it can get busy and there are a lot of people who don't hike with proper attire, but it didn't bother us. People were very courteous and friendly. Take the Orange trail to hike up the falls, it's nice and cool, lots of great waterfalls! We didn't hike the whole Orange trail, once we got to the top we cut over to go down on the Blue marked trail. It is very rocky, slippery in some spots, but the adventure is fun!

Fantastic hike. Very difficult climb and certainly dangerous at many spots along the climb. We took our 15 year old and 6 year old (who is tough as nails). They did really great. Do NOT attempt this climb without hiking boots and pants. We were crawling in spots and on all fours going up. Worth the hour to the top. The falls are breathtaking! I was amazed at how many people were climbing back down the same way they came up. Seriously dangerous! When you get all the way at the top of the last fall you’ll find a fire ring. The trail on your right takes you back down a very easy decent right into the parking lot.

Great hike! The trail isn’t marked well and it’s easy to get off track without using the map on AllTrails. The waterfalls were amazing, especially with all the rain, but quite a bit of the trail had ankle deep standing water too. The overlooks were also just as beautiful.

Great trail very physical need to have good boots and be careful lots of fun spectacular views

definitely worth the effort

we got there at 10 on a summer Sunday and it was nice, but packed when we left. highly recommend going up on the left and down on the right. took the blue trail with our tough 8 year old and it was about 2h with a lunch stop

love this place!!! so beautifulll

My daughter and I found a quiet spot with the creek running by us and read a book. Nice and relaxing. It was a lot of fun-we’ll be back!

This used to be one of my favorite loops but the crowd really kills it. Last time I was there, a child went full Tarzan and swung from a branch. Cute, until the branch came down and hit me in the head, nearly knocking me down the dangerous falls. The other children laughed while the mother scoffed at me. I guess she didn't like the angry look on my face. The only person who was sincerely apologetic was the father. This is dangerous terrain and if your children cannot be respectful or if you cannot control.them, LEAVE YOUR KIDS AT HOME.

I see people taking the trail backwards and coming DOWN the fall side, with tears in their eyes because they didn't think it was going to be so hard. I see them not heeding the warnings and wearing flip flops. People are dumb.

The nature is gorgeous and serene... The falls are beautiful and wicked and plentiful. I wish people would be more respectful and NOT LEAVE THEIR LITTER BEHIND!

The hike is one with a fairly difficult incline, lightly scrambled, often muddy. The trail is small with enough room for one or two people side by side. Difficult, dangerous trail but not too demanding of anyone who is in shape or has full function of feet and knees.

One of my favorite little hikes. Involves a bit of climbing up rocks and finding the trail every now and then, but the views are worth every second. The three falls are awesome and the overlook is a must see. Very fun hike!

One of my favorite hikes in the Princeton/Hillsborough area. Easy to get to and beautiful trees, boulders, and view on the straight away down.

Three waterfalls total. The top one is more square in shape. Overall, good hike. It's honestly not as bad as people say. Took my girlfriend there on her first real hike. Just take it slowly and all will go well :)

Trail was well marked and had some good hill climbs and decents. trail was clear of overgrowth and fallen trees, easy to navigate, especially with the AllTrails map. the peak was a little lame, no view that I saw, and I didn't see the ruins. decent veiw at the top of the power line section. bugs were horrendous, spider webs, gnats, mosquito, and biting flies, but it was mid July and recently rained so it's just that season. the water fall was pretty cool, would have liked to hang out at the water fall a bit longer but had to keep moving because of the bugs swarming my head

Maybe I missed the overlook? This is def not hard and should be rated moderate. It is very crowded, the waterfalls are pretty and it is a little confusing finding the trail but relatively well marked once you’re on it. I took the red trail up, supposedly steeper side. If you go this route you see the waterfalls fairly quickly. I came down the orange trail, much less crowded but still a good bit of traffic

An absolutely stunning hike!! This hike is packed with scrambling, climbing, impressive waterfalls and an abandoned railroad tunnel (which is open to the public). While my boyfriend and I are not experienced hikers, we did manage to complete the entire loop. With that said, invest in some quality hiking boots and use extreme caution when near the falls. Tip: go to the left trail, instead of the right trail, first when beginning the hike. The left trail is consistently strenuous due to the steep footing and rocky terrain. Complete the difficult part of the trail first. Many people were turning around after the last fall, however, you can continue by following the well-marked trail blazes. This will lead you to a less intense, more secure climb down to the parking lot.

Very good trail for.hiking and mountain biking.

For the most part this trail is easy. There are certain parts that have a pretty rocky and steep climb, but nothing that challenging. Not very scenic, but a nice starter trail if you are new.

Just a straight hike, not very scenic and a lot of bikers! It was very winding and fun but beware of ticks! My partner had 4 on him by the time we left and three more when we got home!

Hiked with our 11, 10, and 5 year-olds, and they loved it. However, we came across several families with scared/crying/injured kids. This is NOT a hike for unpracticed families. Hiking boots, not sneakers, definitely help kids with the upward rock scrambles.

Absolutely stunning. The challenging terrain is worth the views!

challenging but worth it. not well marked. had to use gps a bit especially at the top and around the look out point. very easy to follow an interconnecting trail and find your self back on a trail you already took. red and orange markets are not clear.
falls are nice. look out at very top is really special.
