Beautiful early snow. Nice place to walk your dogs. Additional trails outside WW boundary

Lovely, well marked trail. Beautiful views from the overlook, even though it’s past peak foliage.

Great hike for kids. Lots of variety of landscapes, with a cool beaver pond along the way. Make sure to keep going after Taylor Lodge up the short, steep spur trail to the lookout, with a great view of the lake and mountains.

We took the Clara Bow Trail at the beaver pond instead of the Long Trail, and I highly recommend it. Same distance, but the rocks and caves are really interesting on Clara Bow. There’s a fun ladder too. More moderate than easy, especially if you take Clara Bow Trail.

This is really dug a magical place. The trees, the rocks, the water...it’s all just so lovely.

Short uphill hike through a mostly sapling forest

Great quick walk to gorgeous falls.

This hike is great. It's in the woods. It's up and down hill a lot. It was great for kids. Plenty to see and the view? Well the view at the overlook can't be put into words. The best view in VT...

Cliff trail is slippery when wet! Combo of steep sections and wet rocks were scary, and our 10-year-old daughter slid down one section, even though she was sitting down. If it is wet, give it plenty of time to go down slow! Can't speak to views, as it was very cloudy, but glad we made it to the gondola OK!

Great hike on this fall day. There are 2-3 steep areas on this hike.

Beautiful, layers of cascades!

Cute little walk in the woods to a great view!

Nice easy trail with lots of chances to experience wildlife along the way. Well marked paths.

We enjoyed the short hike to the falls. Stairs were wet and steep, make sure you have good shoes, TONS of college kids there jumping off the falls, we watched from the pool below, water was perfect, very refreshing

A lovely afternoon nature walk that winds through creek and marshlands. It holds your attention because you are always turning corners and never know what wildlife you might come across. We saw dozens of turtles (painted) sunning themselves on fallen trees and some wading birds. Of the five trails offered at the reserve, this one was a favorite for its intimacy. Check in at the well maintained welcome center on Tabor rd. to get a trail map. They are very friendly and helpful to visitors.

Quiet respite amongst tall trees and fern filled ground cover. Paths well marked and maintained. Lack of sunlight allows mushrooms to florish.

Easy to find the parking at the top of Saxon Hill Road, But you have to hunt for some of the trail heads, especially when you cross forest roads. Not all trails are on the map, and since it’s mostly bike trails with lots of turns and switchbacks, it’s easy to loose your sense of direction. Officially, dogs should be on leash, but in reality none of them are.,

No view at the top :-(
Myriad trails could be done a hundred different ways

Beautiful easy hike with the dog.

The trails were in good shape, but hard to access through the sandy entrance. There were no easy/beginner loops, so it was too difficult for my family's first outing. Wish the rating would reflect that.

A short hike great for kids!..you can make it longer if you hike down to Sucker Brook.
you will need to turn around and come back,or park a car on both sides.
Easy fun .

Great place to get started hiking and the view from the top is excellent.

Not easy for 65+. Some steep climbs that concerned us regarding return trip so we cut our hike short. Up to that point, really enjoyed the first part.

Short hike, superb waterfall and ultraclear water ! Loved it !

This is a nice hike to do if you’re looking to spend a little time outside without exerting yourself too much. Although much of it is fairly rolling, and the scenery becomes quite beautiful after you link up with the long trail, the first and last stretches are a bit steep. I would say this trail ranks closer to moderate than to easy. It comes out at Taylor Lodge, which looks like a nice place to to spend a night if you wanted to do some extended hiking.

Great hike but be aware that it’s a scramble. The person in a group that started in front of us with sandals and a baby in a backpack turned back after five yards. What was she thinking? Much of this hike is a scramble and you don’t want to lose your footing. But it’s fun and rewarding if you are in shape.

Was a great hike for our 7 and 11 year olds!

Ummmmm... I had absolutely no clue where the heck it was. The map was super confusing and I was honestly just overall disappointed. I had a good feeling, but I just got lost for a while. Maybe I just didn’t see it, or I didn’t spend enough time looking. I know one thing for certain, though. Wherever it was, it definitely wasn’t obvious where it was. I did nothing but waste my time.

Loved this hike. Had my 9 and 11 year old daughters with me. We had a blast. A few tough spots for the girls, but they made it through.

Very easy hike down to the falls. Be careful! The last stretch of hike to the falls itself is very steep and requires walking through small streams and unsteady rocks. The waterfall is beautiful. There were some locals that were jumping off of the falls (would not recommend) but swimming in the pools below was a fantastic way to cool off.
