Awesome hike and gorgeous waterfall at the end. Great area for camping at the base and a trail to the top of the falls for a refreshing jump. Would definitely recommend!

Its a short trip, but well worth it. Didn't think the hike down was as intense as everyone made it sound. It is steep, but if you have good shoes or boots, it's no problem. If you end up walking in the water, have good should since slim is on many of the rocks.

it's a fun trip and here is a video of our trip if you like to see how worth it it is.

I do this hike about once a week because it’s a pretty good work out. It’s not the prettiest hike around but I will say that I see deer every single time I go. The creek is nice, and you can hop onto Fall Creek Loop to add a little extra mileage. If you are looking for more of a work out, do the loop backwards (take the bridge to the left instead of the trail marker to the right) so that you are going uphill instead of down.

very nice hike really pretty in the winter

Hard but worth it!

Good hike. Go after lots of rain so that there will be more water in the falls.

steep Rocky but worth the pain the trail is by the tent camping towards the back of the tent camping area it was hard to find the trail from the recetation center

A steep decent and a rigorous climb up but well worth it. Amazing waterfalls, a whole lot of fun.

This hike is very steep. Like when I read it was steep it doesn’t compare. I had Bambi legs the whole time. It is awesome at the falls and jumping off is exhilarating. But jump at your own risk!! I would do it again, but not anytime soon.

First time there mtn biking, super friendly hikers and bikers. Not a technical ride but super enjoyable. My next time I will push harder and enjoy some of the things I missed due to first time ride. You can fly thru some sections and there are some banked turns. Not alot of rocks or roots that I would brake for. Greatly maintained and marked. Do it. Start on Chestnut and plenty of options from there.

really nice little falls, use the entrance along the fence, much shorter walk!

Sort of boring but very scenic and crowded. Take the good with the bad, I guess!

Can be a bit of a treacherous descent and a hard climb out, but well worth the effort.

One of the shortest, but most difficult hikes we've taken. Straight up and down, but the falls and swimming hole were worth every step!

A really nice trail. The waterfalls at the end are excellent but the trail makes you work for it. Trail is a mix of flat walking and quite rocky. There are 4 water crossings which were manageable even with the wet summer.

I’ve been there so many times, there’s a waterfall too.

About half way down you will question whether or not it’s worth it. It is.

Make sure you screenshot or have a hard copy of directions to get there as there is no cell service most of the way. The trail is very steep and can be done in chocos but I would not recommend it. It is beautiful once you get to the bottom and definitely a challenge but very fun.

I've done this one several times and it never gets old. The trail does get steep but the views from the top are wonderful and theres a chance at spotting a bald eagle pair that nest in the valley below. There's always a variety of butterflies dancing atop the ridge in warm months. The stairs to and tower itself is nerve-wracking for many but it's held up well over time. Great day hike.

Hadn’t hiked the falls in probably 8 years or longer, but had a blast. Took the kiddos (4 and 6) and they did very well. Trail is in good shape, creek crossings were fairly deep in places since all the rain lately in the area. The falls were beautiful, again from all the rain lately they were flowing heavy! I definitely recommend this trail for some beautiful scenery. I have hiked this trail since I was a kid and have always loved how it follows the creek up the mountain.

This trail was great. It is mostly shaded the whole way up. It was mostly on an incline till you get to the top, so some in the group had some struggles. We only saw two large waterfalls, but they was magnificent. I will definitely do this hike again.

Great trail not too hard and awesome view the entire walk but but not marked well so make sure you just keep to the right at every turn on the way up. Taking the left goes up rattlesnake Ridge and hits no water and a very like hike still a great view but much harder and no waterfall

hard going down and up but when you get down and to the falls it's worth it

also watch the drive going up to the parking, lots of deep holes. we bottomed out our Chevy Cruze

My absolute favorite trail to hike! Where do I even start. Well it's quite, other than the sounds of nature and mini waterfalls. The rushing water of the creek makes this hike very pretty. There are several different ways you can take, lots of cool things to discover in those woods. It is kid and animal friendly but I do suggest keeping your dogs on a leash.

Hard going down, but worth it all! You can even jump off the first waterfall!

This is our first trail hiking experience through this app. As other reviewers have said this is definitely moderate to strenuous, and I wouldn't consider it kid friendly for those who have smaller kids. We took two Great Danes on the trail and they were great. You should pack some extra water for yourself and the dogs. There are some lovely stopping points to rest and view the water, lots of rocks and roots, a lot of uphill climbing(the overlook is totally worth it).
