Hiked on 1/22, started at around 4:10pm, aiming for sunset. Beautiful sunlight with mild wind. Ranger said the last 0.5 miles of the trail are very icy in morning; when we arrived around 5pm, only part of the trail was covered by ice, probably melted already. micro-spikes helped a lot. The Arch under the sunset was amazing. Love the glowing orange color on the Arch. Totally worth the effort. Heading down after getting dark is a bit challenging, especially the icy part. We brought a flashlight and it was a life saver.

Nice little walk with a decent view, but not much of a hike.

Best hike in the park. If you see snow on the ground don’t do this hike without crampons or spikes. There wasn’t much up and downs. You need good footing and strong feet for this hike. I would highly suggest if you capable.

Great hike. Easy going at the start with a little challenge on the last leg due to ice and snow. Sand and groomed trail to start, changing to rock midway and then back to mixed sand and rock at the end. Short ledge section at the final part.
Wonderful views both of the arch and the surrounding valleys. Haven't hiked in a while so it was a longer trip than it might normally be. Very worth it, especially since we were the only people there at the time (mid January).

Parking lot was not super large, recommend getting there early. This was almost more of a scenic lookout than a hike. Took about 10 minutes to walk down and 10 to walk back. Lots of bathrooms which were pretty well maintained. Great stop during our long day drive.

Very easy walk. Beautiful Canyon views!

Nice view, super easy hike and was pretty empty early on this time of year.

Super easy trail.

Closed at the trailhead due to rockfall as of 1/19/2019.

Pretty easy hike to see something that I have only seen in many photos. Very beautiful.

1/11/19 heavy ice on beginning of trailhead. do not attempt without crampons.

1/10/17 great scenary for sunset. quick and easy. parking can be limited. would recommend due to ice on other trails at Zion.

This is a get your picture and leave type of hike. Compared to Corona and Bowtie, it was meh. The arch itself is awesome. The hike up is nothing special. At the top, you’re met with a whole bunch of people with little hiking ettiequte. People perched under the arch making it impossible to get a photo and groups of people talking and yelling.

An all around better option is Corona and Bowtie. The drive there is AWESOME! The hike is so freaking fun and the arch is just as spectacular.

You have to see Delicate arch when you come to Utah, but definitely don’t do this as your only arch hike!

GREAT hike! Definitely need cramp-ons to do this safely right now. Absolutely stunning views, and not heavily trafficked at all. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow! (In Owen Wilson’s voice)
This trail was EPIC! Incredible views and 100% worth it! It was considered moderate for us. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to hike up and 40 minutes to go back down. It was a little Icy but nothing too crazy. Elevation gain was a little difficult at times, but doable. Definitely a must do! Unbelievable views at the arch!

Short and easy yet stunning and beautiful. Delicate arch, probably the most famous of all the arches and understandably so.

This is a great little hike to an iconic arch in the Canyonlands experience. Parking is convenient but during the middle of the day the arch will be receiving many visitors as it is quite a tourist attraction. And if you're adventurous enough to rise early and catch the classic sunrise through the arch, you'll have plenty of photographers to keep you company. Happy hiking!

Did on Jan 3, 2019. One of the most awe-inspiring, beautiful, out-of-this-world hikes! Especially in winter with the snow dusting the rocks. Parked at the lot near sunrise point. Started at sunrise point, went down queens garden trail, continued onto Navajo loop (Wall Street portion was closed but took the other leg to get to sunset point, then walked along rim trail to get back to sunrise point. Did the hike in hiking boots— was a little icy/slippery especially at the tops of the trail near sunrise point and particularly sunset point, but hiking boot were fine. Wouldn’t really recommend doing it in street shoes during winter when it’s icy— lots of people slipping especially trying to go down the trail from sunset point (more heavily trafficked in that area so the ice was slicker)

This is amazing! The bridge is massive! I could have spent all day exploring!

Steep, but not too difficult. I did not like how exposed the last mile was on the sheer cliff face, but I am afraid of steep cliffs.

A lot better than Angels Landing, because this is less crowded.

Absolutely great views, I would do it again.

Definitely a great trail, went down queens garden to Navajo (also did the peakaboo loop) and we wore traction going up Navajo because of the ice. The hike was gorgeous and highly recommended, but I was glad we asked the ranger who recommended going up Navajo instead of down this time of year.

It is “only” 1.5 miles each way, but there is a lot of elevation and uneven footing. Right now there is also snow and ice. So I would say it is moderate to difficult. BUT totally worth it. Amazing to see the Arch up close! This is a must-do in the park!

Right off the main road, making it a very busy place. Still a great and easy landmark to visit!

Beautiful evening to see the most iconic natural structure in Utah! It was a perfect hike with excellent views. The only downside is all the tourists who actually walk directly under the arch. Had to photoshop quite a few people out of my photos!

I loved this hike, we where there first part of November. The deepest part of the Narrows was just above the knee. We had rented the water gear at Zion Adventures. The water temp was 42 degrees and we where not cold at all, feet were wet the whole time, kinda felt like you had jello in your shoes! We hiked about 5 hours up and back. I will definitely do this hike again!!! The scenery was spectacular.

Aweosme hike. Brought the entire family along-deer in the stream-waterfalls-scenic spots-everything is surreal here!

Did this early October and really enjoyed it. On my first try I had to return about 15min before I reach the top because it began to rain and a storm was rolling in. But I did it again 2 days later on a perfect sunny day. The view is just spectacular and I stayed for about 1 hour and enjoyed the scenery. Although it was strenuous, going up and down took me a little less than 4 hours. I recommend to start early, so you have some time for yourself at the top before more and more people are coming.

Amazed how the arches were formed! Love it!

I hiked Bryce Canyon National Park in early October. Weather and temps were perfect hiking weather. We hiked down the Wall Street section and hiked back up the Navajo Trail. I did that loop as one hike. (If I had to pick, the Wall Street section is slightly better than Navajo Trail). I'd have to say that hike is probably the best and most scenic hike that I have done anywhere in the U.S. I thought it was better than any of the trails that we did in Zion. The scenery is incredible, and the rock structure and formations are so unique to any other trails I have done. The trails are a bit steep, but they aren't too bad if you are younger or in decent shape. I would rate the trails as Moderate. We also did a separate hike down to the Queens Garden section, and then hiked back up the same trail. The Queens Garden was neat to see, but was nothing like the Wall Street and Navajo Loop Trail section. I would suggest the Wall Street and Navajo Loop Trail as the loop trail to do at Bryce. As a side note, Bryce Point is worth a stop to see as well- great overlook. It overlooks the whole ampitheater area. If you are looking at the different Utah parks or considering which ones to see, Bryce N.P. is a must stop on your trip. It is so unique and totally different from Zion. You can see and hike the best trails in 1-2 days in Bryce was enough for our group.
