Tough hike however worth it. Various terrain with many different views. We added the cold run spur with this loop which added an additional 1.5 miles. Would definitely consider doing this again.

Great hike with tons of amazing views! I did come across a bear with her two little cubs but they just walked on through. It’s a rocky trail but the elevation changes aren’t too drastic. I look forward to going back!

Highly recommend bug spray! We forgot and it put a damper on our experience. That being said- not crowded, only saw one duo on the way to the falls and then two duo hikers on the way out. It’s been raining a lot so there’s a lot of mud, footing got a little slippery at times.

The falls were beautiful! I wish I would’ve brought water shoes to sit and soak a while but the bugs chased us out.

There is an industrial road that runs tandem to the trail. It’s ugly but we took advantage of it to help get us out of the woods quicker. We’d do this hike again— it’s a nice afternoon hike!

Great trail system. Part of my cycle of trails that I hike often

Great views for an easy hike, not much elevation gain and its very gradual. Trail is extremely rocky though, which is expected on the AT, so wear sturdy hiking boots. September I believe is the busiest time of the year do to nesting and trail being overcrowded with birdwatchers.

Love these trails! A bit of everything...wide pine needle paths, narrow roots/rock single track, grassy hills. All with great wildlife and lakeside views.

Gorgeous views, well marked trails. Be sure your horse is road safe as there’s a few crossings, as well as a few places you’ll need to cross the water. A few very steep trails - definitely not the place for a horse that’s not sure-footed! But otherwise lovely.

We did this trail in a 6 mile clockwise loop! Right from the start you have a couple of heart pounding climbs and are rewarded with nice views of the Susquehanna River and Berwick power plant stacks! This is a awesome trail but could be so much better with a detailed trail map and updated proper blazing! I would suggest picking a all trails recording that suits you like we did and just follow that! I would not rely on the blazes as they are now unless you want to get frustrated and walk in circles all day! Other than that it's a nice intermediate hike with interesting changing scenery!

Fantastic trail with some amazing views! Well groomed trails, great for barefoot horses, but has some pretty steep inclines. I can’t wait to go in the fall!

We hike the white and blue trails , like other people have commented some spots are not marked good but with the help of the state park trail maps we found our way ok and you can use your GPS nice hike enjoyed the trail through the woods and by the falls, watch lots of leaves and pine needles can be slippery especially on the steep trails

Tried to follow the 7 mile path but as Joyce said below, the trail can be confusing at times. Ended up exploring coal banks and turned this into a 10 mile hike when all was said and done. Still fun and the scenic overlook was worth it. Definitely want to go back and try to figure out the actual path.

Nice view without a huge elevation gain. Saw my first “wild” bear back at the trailhead near the AT hut.

Great hike! The MOC was also a great spot. Only problem was that we got turned around well before reaching even the merge w Kaiser because we walked right up on a very large bear standing just off the trail while coming around a bend. I was with my two young kids and dog (on leash) so didn’t want to take the chance of waiting it out and continuing on. The bear didn’t seem afraid and just kept doing what it was doing even though we were making plenty of noise. As soon as it turned away from us we slowly backed off and then hiked back down. The kids were psyched because we went and swam in the lake for a while instead. Which was a great way to end the outing. Will be back to do the full route ASAP!

Very dangerous for mountain biking, must have experience and proper gear. Was an amazing experience

My first hike in Pa...not bad. Like another person said, you will definitely need bug spray. The falls was not very grand since we haven’t had much rain but it was still beautiful. For someone not use to incline hikes, this would be a good one.

The trail itself is nice. However like others mentioned much of it runs parallel to a natural gas road that is not scenic. You also walk along the road for a bit of the hike. The falls are beautiful even when the water is low. Make sure to bring the bug spray for this one.

the falls were a little dried up, so be sure to go early spring or in the winter when they are frozen. watch for snakes! you do follow the logging path for a little, you didn't miss a turn... simple hike, definitely recommend it for beginners.

We did the trail loop backwards by mistake-- if you see one red post if you look across the path there is another. Looking at the building at the end of the path, the counting up mileage is to the right (beginning of trail) and the left marker is the end (mileage counts down). We took the red trail, to the orange and yellow back to the red--which was said to be 8.9 miles and came out to be more like 10.5miles from my garmin watch (the last 1.5 miles was rough). The extra mileage would be fine except it's a lot of going up and back down, so if you have bad ankles and knees wear appropriate gear. I hike often but was mentally not prepared from reviews to go for this hike. There is limited shade (aka almost none) it was 86 without a cloud in the sky and was pretty toasty/hot-dress appropriately, bring sunscreen, snacks and tons water (my 3L pack got me just to the end). The views were nice, tons of birds singing, wild flowers and we got to see a fawn still with all its spots. Mountain bikers also use this trail and we almost got taken out by them zooming down one of the steep soon to be ups for us. We only heard the spokes on the wheels from the first biker to get off the trail-they had some speed and it definitely wouldn't have ended well.

Although it is not marked, this trail is sweet, offering one of the best speed hikes one could ask for -- too bad I had to cut it short. I used GPS the whole way, but that was fine; I'll take it. The trail itself made up the difference. ATTENTION: Section 1 is still closed; park ranger stopped me right in my tracks. If there is an alternative way to get to Section 7, please post your recording. Thanks.

I really liked the grassy hill challenges. Not many trails offer grass for hill climbs, so that was nice. Also, there were nice views, great shade on a sunny day, and I saw turtles. Not much for wildlife, but I'll take that, too. It is an enjoyable trail, and I would like to do the whole thing. Can't wait until Section 1 is back open unless there is an alternate way.

Had a fantastic hike with my younger brother just under 5 miles. We turned left at the start of the border trail and then continued on until we reached the covered bridge trail. We followed that trail until we got to the teal trail and took that back to where we started. It was differently an intense hike!! I workout 4-5 times a week and I was so thrilled to have my younger brother there to push me those last 15 mins or so. Especially when we hiked mostly uphill the last mile and it was hot!! We both took ticks off our necks almost immediately upon noticing them on our hike. It would have been easier if we took a break but we went straight through. It was beautiful. Truly breathtaking views!!

This was an absolute perfect hike. Not to easy and definitely not to hard. Wildlife, spectacular views and not crowded. The app says no dogs allowed but that needs to be corrected.....dogs are definitely allowed here

Awesome views and scenarios. I completed the blue line and is short and easy. American bison and wildlife make a great experience.

Waterfalls along the trail and the grand vista at Worlds End makes this moderate hike memorable.

Awesome hike. It had an excellent variety of grades and stunning scenery. Some parts were challenging, and the late spring heat during the day didn’t make it any easier. During the full 4 hours of the hike I didn’t see any other hikers. This is a very quiet trail. My only downside is around mile marker 6.5/7, the trail can become a muddy mess making it nearly impossible to continue without boots or sacrificing your shoes. This lasted for roughly 100 meters of just nasty mud. Other than that, fantastic!

It was a decent trail. little confused by the posted trail as it went into the water. this was my first time using the app but when I got done with the hike I realized it would have been better to used the saved recordings of other users as they were able to find the correct markings to follow...next time. from what I did see there werent that many views or real falls. a good hike just to walk through woods.

Easy and beautiful! Sucks there’s a pipe line road right next to the trail. Still worth the hike!!!

Fun hike, I done it a few times. Spring much better than summer. Summer time falls lacks water.

This trail was a nice quick hike before work and the waterfall was really pretty. Halfway down the hike however, there's a frac road that cuts into the trail and runs the rest of the length of the trail. you can choose to walk the frac road or hop back on the trail for the rest of the hike.
