Beautiful views the entire way and access to water virtually whole time courtesy of a stream running alongside the trail. At least 3/4 of the trail is sand so took little longer than usual. Not much tree coverage so expect to be exposed to the elements. But the falls are oh so pretty! Refreshing dip on a hot day.

Maybe a bit more moderate than easy going uphill, but it was a beautiful trail. The first Lake was so big and peaceful. Nice quiet trail but definitely more traffic on it by early afternoon.

I’ve done his trail twice. It’s really good. Well trafficked so if you get hurt there’s someone close by to help. The downside is that it’s well trafficked so you’re never really alone. Ok the bright side, great cellphone coverage. At least on T-Mobile. I assume Verizon and AT&T’s coverage will be just as good.

It’s a fun trail. Do it in the morning. It gets hot in the summer afternoon.

We arrived at 9am on a Tuesday and there were 4 cars in the lot. After a very pleasant 2 mile hike we arrived at the springs and had them to ourselves for 45 minutes. That is all the time we needed due to persistent horse flies. The lowest pool felt like a 92f hot tub. It was most splendid and strange to have a hot waterfall jet falling on my back. The hike in and out is very nice due to the flowing stream. We were all very glad we took this amazing hike.

Great trail. Easy and fun! Go early, trail gets busy as the day goes on but we had the springs to ourselves before noon. Stop at the first pool you see! It has a mini waterfall and it’s the best of the pools. Once it’s filled, you won’t be getting in. Bring water shoes and bug spray! Horseflies are bad! Great natural hot springs, it’s a sight to see!

loved the water

Long but easy hike into the springs. Definitely worth the trip. The springs are beautiful and relaxing. Take bug spray!! Horse flies were the size of my fiancé and not as nice :)

The springs are varying in temperature. The bottom spring, the first “pool” you come to is like a nice hot tub temperature. The further up the path you go the hotter they get. Too hot to stay in.

All in all worth the trip!

Fun but packed in the summer. The trick is to go in the fall or early winter. Snow scares the crowds away.

Did this hike this morning and loved it! So beautiful.

Great little hike if you’re a lone adult with a small army of kids. Short, sweet, and water adventure at the end.

It was hot going but the water was cold. Was a great hike.

Great trail for kids. The first set of stairs are rather daunting (for young kids) and you have to pay attention or you miss the trailhead within the neighborhood (it's only about 2 feet wide between two fences so it's easy to miss the first time), but it is a lovely hike. It's shady for most of the hike, even at noon. And having water to play in at the top is always a plus, especially with kids.

Hiked this early Sunday morning. We started at 7AM and were back down around 10AM at a nice and easy pace. It was getting really busy as we were almost done, but before that it was peaceful and quiet. Beautiful trail. Definitely a good moderate hike. With a little wandering around I ended up clocking around 5.5 miles.

Did this one yesterday and it took about 2 hours to make it to the top. My 4 year old was able to do the whole hike himself and the views at the top are breathtaking. Definitely a good family hike.

Fun

Steep to the top, and covered in families.
Pretty though.

Good hike with Kids.

Fun hike with beautiful wild flowers. Depending on your fitness level, easy to moderate. We got there at 7am and only saw 4 other people. Pretty busy on the way down. We took it slow on the way up, and stopped a lot to take pics of flowers. With one minor detour it took us 2 hours to get up and one hour to get down.

Our family has completed this hike three times now, most recently was September 2017. Our 9, 8 and 6 year-olds did well. Our 4-year-old had to be carried quite a bit. We took our time to enjoy the views etc. This hike is best enjoyed in fall, imho. The top does make me a little nervous with the children.

Quick and easy hike for kids. My two young boys loved it.

It is a pretty steep incline the whole way, but very short. My 8, 5, and 3 year old managed well. The top of the hike near the waterfall is shaded and pretty, but you can hardly call it a waterfall. After a dry winter, the fall is barely a trickle, unlike last year. I would recommend this hike in the spring when there is more water.

Absolutely beautiful and easy to do. Be ready to deal with horse flies-they hurt when they bite! Besides that, this trail was beautiful. There were quite a few people here. Get there before 9:30 for good parking. Keep in mind that the sign for the parking lot is only visible when you come from one direction. We passed it and had to ask for directions to get there. There is a lot of shade on the trail which was really nice.

Very good hike

Small hike to the falls. Beautiful and lots of shade. Enjoyable.

Did this on 25Jul18. (5th time I've done this) Waited out a thunderstorm and the trail had puddles in some spots. A portion of the trail close to the falls was washed out and there are a couple of rocks to hop on in the river, to get across. Also falls were fuller than I've ever seen them. Roaring, really. Amazing as always hike.

Nice short hike. Perfect for families with kids. Our kids had a lot of fun at the waterfall.

Hiked this trail again on Wednesday for probably my 25th time. I’ve lost count. Had a great time. It’s dry, bit we saw a few people we knew also out enjoying this trail. Great for kids 10 and older because the caves at the end have drop offs that little ones might be a little scared of.

You get a great view of the China Wall portion of the Crimson Trail on the other side of Logan Canyon.

Worth it every time and would definitely recommend this trail if you are in the area and want a good hike that will take about 4 total hours from downtown to the top and back to downtown.

The waterfall is small but beautiful. Took about 20 minutes one way!

I love this one!! Start from Brighton and you’ll be able to see all three lakes. It’s a great hike for families that will still give a tiny bit of challenge. Bring bug spray!
