trail running

Love this loop! Went up to the canal that connects to Morse's Pond to the north. There is a nice viewing spot and picnic bench there, pretty cool. The water was flowing!! Check it out.

Quick easy walk! Trail is nice and maintained. Can get very muddy after rain or snow. Can’t go on the beach or walk through during the summer. But there is a path to the street that leads you back to the parking lot and trail. Always bring my dog for a walk here.

Nice place for a leisurely stroll. Can spend 30 minutes or 2 hours. Fall colors are awesome!

We went up the hills with dogs and it was nice.

A very easy hike, but really beautiful views. We went during peak fall foliage and it was a pretty amazing sight. You are also able to visit the site of Thoreau’s cabin (there’s also a model of it). It’s $8 to park but there is a pretty nice visitor center and we saw a lot of people swimming at the beaches (even in October).

A beautiful pond with an interesting history, quite crowded however

Absolutely beautiful, especially on an Autumn or Spring day.

I enjoyed walking the trail at Mount Auburn Cemetery. The landscape is beautiful, especially in the fall, and there are many different paths to travel and places to see.

Beautiful trails and water!!

Beautiful and quiet. You can easily create your own path and see different parts of the area and make your walk as long or short as you like.

I would rate this loop as easy. I’ve been running it for several years.

This is not what I would consider a "hike". A nice walk around the pond. 90% paved, this could be done in flip flops and a sun dress. Well maintained and heavily trafficked.

Nice little trail. A good amount up hill. Gets your heart rate up, which I like. Tiny parking lot, but there is some street parking.

I used to come here regularly to fish, now I simply enjoy a walk around the pond. It's a beautiful trail especially the western part of the trail. There is a little peninsula that sticks out and a side trail that runs though it that I enjoy going on side trip. The view from the end of this peninsula is remarkable.

I've hiked this trail several times. It is a short and easy hike to do but other than Long Pond, there isn't much to see. Last time I hike it was in fall for fall foliage so it was one of my more interesting hike.

A nice trail to walk and to take a swim. It is quite scenic but it is hard to find much wildlife due to the crowd. The visitor center is really nice and don't miss Henry David Thoreau's hut.

gorgeous gardens and the tower view was awesome. you can park along the paved pathways inside the cemetery.

Not well marked but very pretty and would do again.

Quiet and scenic. Lots of wildlife and add on trails to make the walk longer if desired. I walk this almost everyday.

Went morning weekday it was fairly empty. A lot of trails off the main one and it had nice changes in elevation.

Great trail! There are a lot of cool glacial rock formations, and there is one part where you go over a bridge through a swap that was lots of fun.

Poorly advertised as dog friendly. The access trail to this trail is not dog friendly and therefore should not be considered or advertised to be as such.

Took this loop but explored off the trail in several places. Lovely light hike - saw very few people -3 runners, surprising for a beautiful Saturday. The Concord River is lovely- can swim at the bay about midway through the loop.

Hike was lots of fun! Great views of lake and Sudbury river. Lots of people walking dogs too, so that was a plus.

Absolutely beautiful with blooming trees, bushes & flowers. Meticulous landscaping and up keep. Needed this app as I get lost every time!
