Pleasant coast walk through coastal banksia and tea-tree with beautiful angopheras. Well signposted except accessing cemetery
Clearly marked. Very flat. Great for a run. Mostly in the bush so kangaroo s can be normally seen.
I was prevented by a Security guard at the Coast Golf Course to continue the walk. Checked w a local resident who happened to walk past and he confirmed that the private golf course and the Council are arguing about walkers. We’ve lost. Had to go to Anzac Pde and catch a bus home. Very disappointing.
much easier the 2nd day... moderate walk
great walk - 2hr return. gentle moderate walk but a good workout. awesome views at the end
I found it hard to navigate without the map. Great for kids and mountain.
Very well posted walk with some amazing views. However I would split it into two separate walks as the golf courses are not very interesting. Coogee to Malbar Headland and La Perouse to Cape Banks.
Beautiful and easy walk only 30 minutes from Sydney CBD with great swim spots along the way.
Extremely dangerous walking through the golf courses especially on weekends. Would be better to Laperouse headland walk 7km loop, or Malabar Headland loop. Honestly skip the golf courses not worth the headache.
Good easy walk
The walk was nice enough from La Perouse through Botany Bay national park, but once the path spit you out at the Golf Course it becomes super hard to follow. Also, following this map, it sends you through private golf areas. Frankly it got so hard to follow I gave up and took a bus home from Little Bay. To avoid the same headache I had, you would have to skip a whole chunk of the coast to continue to the next section. I wouldn’t do the walk all in one go. Better just to do the little walks within it.
Nice trail, just part of the trail has golf courses and we had to get off the track and lost part of the scenic coast view.
Surprising paths through national parks with a slight detour around golf courses. Well curated pathways.
