A really great view not that long or hard of a walk. But be prepared to get sand in your boots. Also parking is limited and there’s a lot of tourists. If you need to go to the bathroom do it before you start the trail.

Great hike that leads you on two adventures. Go up to the top and then hike down to the river. Parking is in the middle. Lovely day!

Easy walking trail mostly on red sand. Highly recommend climbing the rock wall at the end of the trail - AMAZING views of Sedona!

Easy to find and mostly well kept trail. Picking through the rock slide was difficult as the trail there wasn’t well marked. Beautiful view and not busy on a Sunday morning! Sure I’ll be hiking it again

The road to the trail head is rough but doable in a stock 4Runner.

Definitely go up Ed’s Trail and come back on the Silver Star path. Breathtaking views of the area.

Poor parking, heavily trafficked. beautiful view at the half way decent.

Great hike with incredible views. We went on a clear day we could see mount hood and the three sisters. It’s a bit steep at the end but totally worth it. The area where the cave was is completely burnt. However, still highly recommend!

This is a walk in loose dirt up a medium grade slope, and down the other side toward the canyon. And, this is a tourist stop for busloads of people who don't know hiking etiquette. That being said, its free and fabulous. It's a must-see for any nature lover, hiker, photographer, etc.
Try to avoid this during peak seasons or on weekends, to ensure the trail isn't over-populated AND that you can find parking.
Like everyone else says in these reviews, the view is incredible. It doesn't matter how many times you've been, it's always lovely to see. I typically stop here for a breath of fresh air on my way to Zion from Phoenix.
Quick, short hike with an iconic view. ...and perfect desktop wallpaper picture opportunity.

Absolutely loved my time here! It’s a beautiful oasis worth the wait and effort to go!

This was the most trafficked trail I’ve ever hiked and I hiked it on a Wednesday morning. It’s a huge tourist attraction. But the hike to Horseshoe Bend was very short and the view was incredible. Despite the crowds it was definitely worth going. I would recommend!

This trail was not bad, however I felt the need to constantly watch my step during most sections to avoid rocks and tree roots. The hike isn’t strenuous until the switchbacks at the end and the rewarding views at the top make it all worth it. Bring more water than you think. The trail to Boca cave was very dusty and dirty due to the remnants of the fire. I had my 14 year old and 10 year old and the cave “trail” gave me some mom anxiety. Haha. It’s very steep and slippery. Coming out of the cave was wet and very steep for the first section. I recommend traction shoes. We were all very dirty at the end, but what an amazing view!

Easy hike through a dried out creekbed. No waterfall at the end.

beautiful waterfalls!

Short walk for amazing views! The hike back to the parking lot is pretty steep. Make sure you get there early to beat the crowds.

Falls themselves are beautiful and the water feels very crisp this time of year.

the hike itself isn't bad at all and there is a decent amount of traffic throughout the hike.

Beautiful hike. We did it on Tuesday after 5 pm. We had the trail to ourselves. There were some people by the lower waterfall.

Very beautiful. Highly suggest going early during tourist season because it is such a busy trail. Climbing required in a couple of spots to get to the very top, but the view from even half way is incredible. Sedona is nothing like you've ever seen before!

great view, make sure to go to the left on the end of trail sign, can go up in between the rocks

This is a great hike with amazing views of Mt. Jefferson and other cascade mountains. It isn't usually packed with people, which is nice. The forest is beautiful and you get a treat at the top with plenty of private spaces to sit and view. If one was inclined, there is plenty of tent space at the top too. Since the burn, we didn't hike down to the cave this trip. It is a sad site to look out on all the burned up forest, but beautiful all the same. This hike is a good workout, but easy enough for anyone in decent shape.

Made it up in 45 minutes just in time for sunset! Beautiful hike, views and setting!

Great trails. Not too much traffic and we went on a Saturday. Parking was a bit limited.
We did the entire loop which was about 2 miles. The upper trail was missing a bit of signage, which lead to a few incorrect turns for us. If not for that I would have given this five stars. The views of the lower and upper falls were incredible!

Easy in/out , ending in the rock slide. If you go down into the dry creek, you. an go farther up the canyon.

Amazing views and interesting geology and flora/fauna. Nice road, easy for any type of car.

Loved hiking this beautiful trail

My daughter was driving her Honda Pilot and was not comfortable with driving up the last 2.4 miles to the trailhead so we parked and walked to the trailhead adding another 4.8 to the overall hike but it was still an amazing hike. I’m pretty sure someone with more experience (and patience) would have been able to make it to the trailhead in her Pilot but she was not about to try. This is the third or fourth time I’ve done this hike but still love it and will probably continue to hike it from time to time.

Another one of my favorites I've discovered after moving here a couple of months ago. Good hike with moderate incline and light traffic. long drive up the side road to get there but well worth it. would do again

Great hike! Got there around 11:30 and there was still parking on a Sunday. Made the mistake of branching off too early in hopes to find the cave (wait until you’re practically on the peak) but that turned into a nice rock climbing trip! Trail to the cave is very dusty from the fires and the trees radiate some heat still. Saw only about 5 people the entire time. Would recommend

Was fun and short mostly up hill but great day!

Awesome

Great Hike with spectacular views. Cave is tricky to find. You’ll need to go up to your left about 0.1 mile before reaching the trail peak.(we actually found it on the way back down which would be on your right). A rock with “cave” and and arrow points the way from the trail (see photos added to this site). Hike up about 200 feet, head toward the right where you will see the burned out forest. Cave is down and around burned out area..(around to the left) Dusty, ashy hike but very worth it!
