This was a great trail! My boyfriend and I took our dog and she loved it! There was a lot of people around the entrance and everywhere in general but you still felt away from the busy city.

I went Jan 12 @ 11:30am. It was a bit cloudy, no rain though. I'm not an experienced hiker and went solo.

Plenty of parking when I went, but I can see it being packed pretty quickly. I don't know if I fell off the trail, but I was following it and eventually went up some boulders and got lost. I remember reading it's supposed to be 2-3 hours, took me 4 1/2 to get back to my car. I never found the waterfall, but got some great pictures. There were two people scaling the mountain which I thought was crazy, but you can see that they had the proper equipment and were experienced but really great to see. A bit of poop, nothing crazy though. Definitely has cactus everywhere. Not much wildlife, found a creek though. Ill try again to find this waterfall and maybe not get lost. It was very easy to navigate back to your car though because of the landscape.

I enjoyed this trail. It had a variety of terrains.

Perfectly moderate difficulty trail. There are some side paths that can make it more difficult but the main path is very pleasant.

A bit more than moderate.

Nice trail with a steady, moderate incline—just enough to give you a workout. Plenty of parking just off Boulder City Parkway. Great views of Las Vegas and Lake Mead from the top.

Easy, flat walk through tunnels with nice views of Lake Mead. We were there on Christmas Eve and only three of the tunnels were open. Seems like a nice place to take the dogs, too.

The rocky part was a bit cumbersome, but great otherwise.

Closed after 3rd tunnel. Easy hike other than that

I had so much fun on this trail. I followed the river bed all the way up, I hiked this trail for 4 hours . The water falls was amazing. Saw a deer with large antlers.

The elevation gain when you’re starting so high up unexpectedly kicked my butt, made the switchbacks a bit more uncomfortable since it added strain to monotony, but the end of the trail was quite worth it. I did this back in July, and despite the cooler weather up in Mt Charleston, laying on the rocks was amazing. The water was little but so ice cold, it was wonderful. Beautiful scenes

Great hike, but for me it was more strenuous than moderate. The last half mile is a steep climb. The pour-off had just a little water coming down it. Great photography spot! Highlight though was seeing a huge black bear going up and then again coming down.

Great hike, very scenic. Not too challenging. The falls at the top are beautiful.

Very good challenge!

Worth the view! Highly recommend

Beautiful area. Trails are easy to get off course though. Second time we have done this and not exactly finished it because we got off course.

Great hike. It was challenging and long but with rewarding views at the top. The trail itself was not too bad. Feel free to look at my picture I took here.

let's just say it lives up to its name(MJ). Great hike with a waterfall at the end. the waterfall wasn't quite in season. I would definitely hike again in season.

It’s easy to get off trail. We got off trail for most of the hike, especially when we climbed up the canyon. I’m not sure where the end is, I think we got there (we climbed until we couldn’t climb anymore without injuring ourselves lol)

My dog and 6 year old were able to climb through with ease (and FUN!), but I would recommend this trail for more nimble-bodied creatures.

It was REALLY cold (November 28), so I suggest to wear long sleeves, full pants and something on your ears.

Very incredible views! Definitely worth it.

Yes, the 3rd tunnel was closed, but we run into a local and she told us we can climb up the side of the tunnel to go over to the other side. Yes, we made it! Although, we saw people just go through the tunnel even it had a "closed" sign. Take your own risk and go to the 5th tunnel. But again, the gate was closed to go further. we gave up from that point. It was a bit of disappointment but got to do a Hoover Dam tour after that instead of looking at it from the hiking trail.

It’s a great hike for those that enjoy height and don’t fear narrow trails. The hike to the top will be worth it!! Keep going!

The day I went there was a group of young kids smoking weed and had there dog running with no leash.

Amazing view at top of mountain. Easy path to follow. We had a hard time at first finding the trail, but didn’t let it get to us. Interactive map worked great to follow.

Great!

My wife and I climbed this four days ago and really enjoyed it. Last year at this time we climbed to the saddle and turned right to Black mountain for a lunch and great views of the lake and LV. Four days ago we climbed again to the saddle and then left up the steep switchback to Red mountain where the mountain bikers and zip line starts. Lunch was entertaining as we watched some bikers learning the steep start to the trails. Waited patiently half way up as a 2 ft rattlesnake moved off his warm rock in the middle of the path. Very nice hike with views, will do it again for exercise. Mostly a smooth path.
