It was a nice, short, difficult hike if that's what you're looking for. Personally I didn't think the hard work getting there was worth the view at the end, but to each their own.

Was a nice hike to the falls, recommend going in to the right at entrance so you end at the falls. Took climbers access 2 and ended with 2.5 miles total

This is a lovely trail but MapMyRun tracked it at 4.25 miles, not 3.6. Nice views but most of the trail is well above the lake. Only a few spots on east side of loop with relatively easy access to the water. On this day, nice breeze on east side, but none on west side. Day after, dog can barely move. Good boy!!!

Great little hike with a beautiful waterfall as payoff. There are a few really muddy spots on the trail so make sure you have the correct shoes.

Fun little hike and easy to do with smaller children. Hike to the base of the waterfall is short and the swimming hole is a lot of fun. We did the loop on the way out and was moderate in a couple of spots and was maybe 1.5 miles or so. We had 4 kids (13, 13, 10 & 10), and they did just fine. Fun little rock formations to play on.

This is a beautiful hike to a waterfall.

Nice trail, but water is a trickle this time of year.

My husband and I took our kids (10 & 6) on this loop. We loved it! The only problem was that we missed the memo that we were supposed to turn on climber’s access #1 to make the turn back, and instead added an extra mile to our loop by turning onto climber’s access #2. Be ready for rocky, climby fun with some gorgeous sights!

Very nice falls. The hike is short but there are plenty of other trails to hit while you’re there. We did a nice 7.2 mile loop. Go early to avoid the crowd.

Great way to stretch the legs and plenty to see.

Nearly drove to Snoopers Rock on the ATV trail next to the parking area - in an Audi SUV - no 4WD needed. The Cumberland Trail is next to the rock and you can go for miles and miles along the ridge line. Great hike, even if it’s a bit toasty in mid-July.

Unfortunately the trail has not been maintained at all. There are numerous washouts, several widow maker trees that block the trail and frankly make parts of the trail unsafe, and the worst part of the trail is closer to the dam. A large tree blocks the trail, so you have to climb down the edge of the gorge to pass, but its basically a muddy, and almost impassible, cliff edge. I would not recommend this trail until some serious trail maintenance has been performed. It's sad to see just how dilapidated it has become, since this was the trail that made us fall in love with hiking and Chattanooga. Until some serious trail maintenance is performed, this trail should be rated as difficult. Full trail review + pics coming soon to our hiking blog: www.Wander-Full-Life.com

Nice little hike ❤️

A little confusing to get to the trail head. But once you are there, the hike is well marked, and a great intermediate hike! The view from the rock is worth the 5 miles on a warm and clear day!

This is a hidden gem - magnificent waterfall and a pristine crystal clear mountain top lake with a sand bottom beach

Beautiful but strenuous on Climbers Access!

Enjoyed the trail!! Great for kids and dogs!! Def one my fav and go to!

Beautiful waterfall. $3 fee per car for parking. It’s 1.5 mi out to the waterfall, and then 1.5 mi back. There are multiple other trails if you want to continue exploring. Most of the trail is sand, but there are some muddy parts and a large stone staircase at the end, so tread carefully. Great day hike! Also, make sure to stop off at the scenic overlooks up and down Oswald Rd on your way in/out of the park.

Short and super sweet!! Amazing waterfall!!! Super clean. Not that easy, not that hard for beginners. Love the place. I’m coming back for sure!!

Beautiful falls well worth the easy hike in. Little work hiking back out (steps up from Falls) but was easy enough for someone with little physical ability to do. Can’t mtn bike the steps down into the Falls area but can bike 99% of the rest of the trail. I too packed out some trash. Too much litter. Highly recommended because of the Falls.

The day I walked this trail it was difficult. Obvious signs of erosion and storm damage, plus human interference, made it a little rough. Once past the mousetrap(stairs) you're basically on your own. The views are worth the effort, especially Julia Falls Overlook, but be prepared. Not a good trail for elderly, young and rambunctious children, or inexperienced hikers. It's not a "picnic trail". Might have been in the past, but not now.

Moderate hike average hikers and children can complete. Be careful to stay on the correct path, there are several forks to other trails. There is a dam and small swimming hole at the bottom with campsites.

Great surprise at the end

We took our 4 kids (ages 8,5,3, & 3months) on this hike down to the falls yesterday and had a great time! We had to go pretty slow to climb our way down to the falls, but everyone did well. And the way back up was much easier for me with the baby in her carrier than going down. The falls were beautiful and since it had recently rained they were very strong. The water was very cold so the kids didn’t want to swim for long. It was quite busy while we were there and there were several people smoking that really took away from the otherwise natural and beautiful scene. Gorgeous views and my husband loved climbing up and around the falls. Great day trip.

Nice falls and easy trail. I was there early so the traffic was all but none. Days of rain made the falls something to see but the trail also had a lot of water because of it.

Easy hike, too many people for my taste. The falls are interesting almost look man made. nice looks to swim in at the bottom. My dog loved it.

Pretty falls, easy trail. Good for an outing close by.

Quick hike and great swimming hole. Beautiful falls, impressive rockfaces. Awesome spot to pack a lunch and take the kids and dogs. Descent is steep and rocky so be careful! And please LEAVE NO TRACE.

Pretty nice little trail. Nothing too spectacular. Most of it is sandy. A good place for families but not a ton of room near the falls. I'd go on a weekday if you can. Lots of trash.... please don't litter!!! And pack out trash you might find. I brought out a couple of water bottles.

A good hike. Some strenuous sections. The falls at the end were beautiful. I had a large tree fall across the trail while I was there.
