This an amazing trail which eventually will take you to broken top trail or green lakes trail (both of which are also fantastic trails). Windy as all heck when I went but you hike right down the sight of broken top mountain and some beautiful old growth most of the trail with beautiful views more than half the time.

Short well-maintained trail that leads to the fire lookout on top. Trail is uphill, but plenty of spots to take a break if needed. Well worth the views at the top.

This was just stunning. I highly suggest this to everyone. It wasn't a long or difficult hike/walk, and absolutely majestic.

We started this trail by the Big Tree parking lot. We went around the Circle trail and came across this trail. It is a fairly easy trail among beautiful tall Sequoia trees. It was a rare sunny day, but the tree tops kept us mostly shaded and cool. It was an awesome hike.

Love this hike! Distracted by the constant change of scenery from crossing creeks, to frolicking in meadows, to trekking through dense woods you'll lose track of the trail's elevation gain. Enjoy all the beautiful views.

Beautiful prairie!

Beautiful trail from lower to upper falls. Most of the trail is fairly easy, hardest part is from middle falls to upper falls, fairly step switchbacks. Not overly difficult but be prepared with water and a hat during the warmer summer months. All in all though the views are pretty and the trails are mostly flat and easy to walk.

nice app , I have lived in Oregon for 4 years and I cant believe how many trails there are just in Oregon and I like exploring different trails, just nature its kind of relaxing

I am new on all trail app. Only I got in was for the GPS exact location but it doesn’t show GPS location, but asking for pay app for a download map. I will go for other app.

Easy hike, but very nice. We took the foothill trail out and joined the Cathedral trail back to the visitor’s center. We only had a short time in the forest, but I was so glad we got to hike!

I love it
planning to go back

loved middle creek falls!

A steep out and back trail. Great views of the surrounding area and a history lesson once you reach the top. The petroglyphs are near by, be sure to get a guide out of the metal box that explains the petroglyphs at each numbered stake.

Beautiful hike. There before the bugs hatch. Had to turn around at the river. Running too fast and it was 36 degrees out. Plan on bringing some kind of shoe for fording across. One of my favorite hikes. Snow free to the river.

Beautiful trail; runs through a small patch of lava flow near the beginning, then hits the creek. You have to ford the creek before climbing up to some gorgeous views!

Beautiful. Your walking through the campground on an asphalt trail for a good portion. Then you hit middle falls and your reminded why you go hiking. I was trying out a new loaded backpack and it was a good length to get my first idea of what the pack would feel like. Upper falls is a great place to just sit and feel the power of the river just before it plummets. Trail is wide and popular.

Great hike. Start at the lower falls and work your way up. Watch for lizards and squirrels. Middle falls is the most spectacular in my opinion - the water is still pretty cold, but you can go for a swim there.

Great caves
Has easy access into them.

Great hike. Did this two days ago with my dog after a snow storm the night before.

Beautiful and awe inspiring! The waterfalls were really flowing with all the melted snow. It also lightly snowed during our hike which created a storybook magical scene. The trail was pretty well kept as well so you could focus on the beauty around you. 10/10 would visit again

Snow has the road to Falls rather challenging to say the least. Lots of deep snow ... no clearance. hard ... need a 4x4 and good tires!

Beautiful and easy hike through the Redwoods, birds singing, not much traffic until it connects to Big Tree.

My friend visiting the area said this beach was straight out of a Lovecraftian novel. Definitely spooky, but beautiful. Great place to chill and make art in the sand. Water looks dark.

Beautiful and easy hike! The Middle Falls were definitely the show stopper. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy day with amazing views.
