Easy road, lots of great views, we did it into the night and was still very fun

It’s a paved road to the top with many trailheads from the paved, main road. Lots of beautiful options and chances to get your dog off leash if desired.

Super easy for a Jeep, mostly just good views, there’s a couple spots along the way to pull off and check everything out.

Drive this last weekend in my stock JK rubicon. Made it 5-6 miles in before the snow became too much for the Jeep. Definitely need to come back once it melts, I only saw people with snowmobiles out there when I went so mid November is too late in the season for my Jeep.

So much fun. First trail I took my Raptor on.

Great trail, due to the weather we didn't get to finish it, so it's on the list for next year.

Easy trail with moderate spots. Some drops over 18 inches. Can be a little slick where there’s snow. No problem at all for our vehicle (jk wrangler with 3 1/2 lift and 35 tires), but maybe smaller tires or less clearance could be a problem in a couple spots. Great views and many spots to pull off or camp. Saw several other vehicles along the way(Saturday in October), so I would consider it moderately trafficked today. I have added this as one of our favorites for an easier trail.

My first time going and we had a blast. I gave a 99xj 6.5” long arm with 4:88 on 35,s and went through this trail like nothing to it. I went during the summer and it was nice. Few other trucks wheeling. I will go back. Can’t wait for snow! I give 5 starts cuz my entire family had fun driven.

Quick little pop in this afternoon. Was fresh snow on the ground and some icy areas in other parts. My first trail and review so I was thinking about the braking coming down. No problems in a stock Tundra. Hope to do this one again in the summer.

Super dope! So many trails and beautiful scenery!

About 3.5 miles from the summit parking lot the road turns to ice right as the Rogers Pass sign comes into view. Bring a friend and a winch or chain up if you plan on going past the gate at the bottom of the trussel. I had a fox sniffing my tires as I was writing this :)

Fun little trail with a couple of rocky sections to keep it interesting. It has old cabins to explore, found the creepy mine, a few great camping spots and I was treated to a few amazing overlooks.
I made the mistake of not giving myself enough time to really explore, but I’ll be back another season!

Easy drive up to the fork where we ran into plenty of snow.

BLUF: this is not an easy trail! This is a moderate trail. At least 3 spots that required technical driving and someone guiding you. Not entirely a problem, made it more fun, but you shouldn’t go alone. Nice little pullouts to grab lunch and a beverage. Scenic for a the majority. I love how close to Denver it is!

Jeep Wrangler JK. Really great ride through beautiful area. Best views! Fun for 4 wheel drive vehicle, but saw some standard cars and trucks on the path doing just fine. Bring a camera

Nice trail. Was easy enough in my '14 Tacoma Baja. nice trail tips in app made navigation a breeze.

Views were great, but there was a lot of traffic. Very easy drive.

Attempted this in a stock Subaru Crosstrek. Didn't get very far, clearance wasn't an issue but the stock tires couldn't grip the soft sandy dirt. I think after a set of all terrains and maybe some underbody protection (didn't scrape but not sure what the rest of the trail looks like) I'll attempt it again (with my brother's Rubicon tagging along). I'm new to "soft-roading" so I don't really know what an easy trail looks like but I think this might be miscategorized.

Nice, easy scenic drive. I drove it south to north and the traffic wasn't too bad on Saturday. The first 4.3 miles headed south to north is actually paved, and the rest of the drive north on this gravel road is easy - not even that many washboarded areas. Any car in halfway decent shape can make it. It's nothing like the eastern half of Gold Camp Road, which will bounce a sedan or other low-clearance vehicle all over the place.

The aspens really pick up as you get withing 10 miles of Victor and are peaking or just past peak as of Saturday, 9/29/2018. There is plenty of color in the southern portion of the drive too, you just have to look up along the canyon faces to see the red and yellows. The traffic wasn't bad either - probably saw a car every 5 minutes.

The bridges are cool, and I bet the canyon is something else during Spring after a a winter of heavy snowfall and Phantom Creek is really flowing.

good trail to take your jeep for a nice drive

It’s not all that easy people. Don’t know who rates these things. It was a BLAST! But not entirely easy. Many parts were a solid moderate. There were a ton of places to get off the marked path! The rocks were beautiful. Wish we would have been there last week when more of the aspens would have held their leaves but it was still beautiful.

Great trail in Polaris Ranger Crew 570-4! Love the scenery (old trestles). Need off-road capability to get to end of trail (before closed tunnel).

+beautiful trails above the treeline
+more trails than what the app said
+beautiful lakes

-1 or 2 mildly challenging spots
-nearly all very rocky, but I imagine that comes with the altitude

Switzerland trail was not a challenge at all! we saw a mini van out here. look out for lots of pedestrians on foot and on their pedal bikes. IF you choose to go down Pennsylvania gultch, then make sure you have a good 4×4 and clearance. It is extremely tight and very challenging. stock jku Rubicon

Just drove it South to North... easy, beautiful canyon drive. No real Aspen color until the last few miles on North end. Victor area was peaking and amazing... continued back to the Springs on Gold Camp Road and really enjoyed the Aspens. If you only have time to do one road this time of year...I'd pick Gold Camp...

It's fun, definitely a challenging incline to run up, but it's a nice view at the top. I enjoy it often.

Excellent trail. A little scary going down the back of Webster pass (on your way to the start of Red Cone) as if gets a little narrow in one specific spot but other then that it was an excellent trail with some great fall colors!
We did air down which made the ride a lot smoother and a little easier in the narrower spots. Also, the water in the river was low at the beginning of the trail.
Wasn’t too crowed when we went on Saturday . I love this trail!
