One day they will fix the back of the trail, but great trail otherwise! I added a photo of some Hematite we found on the trail.

Still being repaired from storm damage but a great trail with a beautiful view.

Super simple route with about half the trail being concrete...
One big loop that I’d recommend to anyone looking for a daily exercise walk.

Muddy with poor drainage. Hasn’t rained in days but trail was pretty wet and slippery. Wish brentwood would mulch these trails. Parts of it were very pretty. Wear old sneakers.

This was my first trail hike in the LBL. I've taken my kids and grandkids a few times and always enjoy it very much

Great for a local park trail. Keep an eye out and look for Ospreys, gators, and other wildlife.

Beautiful trail worth the hike

Starts with an uphill climb then mellows out into a gentle rolling trail with open vista before heading back into the trees and hills with numerous rocks.

Conveniently close to the suburbs with good variety of flat and hills, fields and rocks. Plenty of wide trails. As a newer park, would be good to have better drainage, and rustic trail stairs in some areas as it can get muddy and slippery with sharp rocks in some downhill areas. Fall is a perfect time. Would like to try in a rain storm as there are no water features.

my go to trail.... just enough elevation and terrain features to be sufficiently difficult, the lake view is wonderful, and there are multiple options for offshoot trails. however, the absolute best feature is the wildlife. I have hiked this trail maybe 60-70 times, and not one time was I disappointed by the wildlife... abundant deer and squirrels to keep you entertained!!!

This is a nice flat trail thats ideal for casual biking and. It's a beautiful trail that takes you through wetlands on both paved & gravel trails. Just under three miles.

I love this place! I've been coming here since I was kid and I'm 31 years old now I am lucky to live here near Land Between the Lakes! there used to be a little peer with a cabin that you can hang out in... it's stretched all the way to the middle of the lake but they took it down for some reason, oh well still a good place to go I highly recommend it.

I loved this trail! As a flatlander from the upper Midwest it was challenging but reasonable. It was also very well marked which is a bonus as I’m totally unfamiliar with the area. I highly recommend for a quick trail run.

Beautiful, well kept walkway with Vita 2000 fitness ail. stations, refreshing natural beauty, cypress, Spanish moss, mostly shaded. Picnic tables and benches. Great walk/jog tr

Excellent trail. Very well marked, well maintained, wide, rocky.... nice moderate stretches. I truly enjoyed it.

This is my home trail. My dog and me hike it atleast twice a month. It never disappoints us. I recommend it to anyone that wants a good hike but not to tasking. my favorite trip was probably when it was snowing.
There are some stairs that are unevenly spaced and deep. my friend has a bad knee (old sports injury) the stairs were a little difficult for her so you want to plan ahead for them. Super dog friendly with plenty of swimming opportunities for our furry friends.

Half the trail has moderate elevation gain in a beautiful wooded area and the other half is flat and runs along the water. We almost always see deer and a variety of birds on and along the water. The hiking trail is well maintained. The rangers are friendly and helpful.

Came in the evening and did the blue trail. Really nice hike! Ended up getting darker than expected and had to pull out my flashlight through the canopy for the last 1/3. Even so the trail is well marked and maintained. Will definitely be coming back to try the other trails.

easy fun trail great for the family

Unfortunately the lake was very stagnant making the views “Ok”. Did love all the water lily....made it a worthwhile hike. Unfortunately couldn’t do the full loop due to the connecting path being destroyed by storms

Thankful I was introduced to AllTrails so I can give JFG a review. It’s my favorite trail in The Hill. The Spanish moss makes for a peaceful setting. The grasshoppers and crabs keep you on your toes! Also makes for a great stroll with earbuds and a pair of flip flops.

Had a good time with my son! Easy and fun! Got 1.5 miles into the hike and got turned around by workers rebuilding the boardwalk! Said it was too dangerous to go any further... I mentioned a sign would have been nice... they said someone tore the signs down and they needed to put more up... I was thinking maybe you could have done that on your way out but I didn’t... they were nice guys! A 2.6 mile hike turned into a 2.9 Hike and had fun...
