Easy walk up to a pretty waterfall. We went off to the left to look for the mine. That made it even better for us.

AMAZING!!! We had such a great time. Kids 6,11, and 12. The waterfall was incredibly beautiful.

This is the perfect little path for older visitors and very little ones who can’t do a hike and but want to see one of our waterfalls up close and walk behind it. We come a few times a year to check it out and show our visiting friends and family.

map tool us to a private sd with no trail access.

Very easy and great for kids and families and fun to swim in! Bring some shoes with traction and clothes you don’t mind getting wet in! Young’s e to take a dip!

These are very nice falls! I would recommend going right after a good rain to watch them roar. The steps down may be slippery. Please keep children off the rocks and away from the water when it is roaring from the rain!

This is a very nice, compacted trail. Families should easily be able to take the kids. Check out the 2 huge boulders on the way up...the trail runs between them.

A very nice short hike. Once I was there I met another hiker who told me about the other Falls to the left of Moore Cove. Just a short walk across two creeks and up a hill. It was pretty nice as well and worth it!

Nice easy walk around the lake. Great for photography.

Great hike to bottom but be ready for a climb out...

Even though there’s quite a bit of people that come out here, it’s still peaceful and beautiful! Most of the trail is paved, and you can feed the ducks, fish, mountain bike, take great pictures of the scenery, etc.

A beautiful waterfall that is a must see if driving through Pisgah. The falls are easily viewable from the road, but you can also walk down a few sets of stairs to the river at the base of the falls.

Great trail to take the kids on a nature hike. For Geocaching enthusiasts, there is a nice one hidden on the loop!

Not a hike, pull off with a few steps to the base of the falls. Still, sooo worth the stop!

Short and sweet trail to beautiful waterfall. Follows a creek and is well cared for. Parking area at trail head. Would be great for kids, dogs allowed too!

Gorgeous water fall. The hike down to the river was steep and switch back and forth but worth the view. There is a nice bridge at the bottom crossing the river. Great place for photos. If you keep going alittle further you will come another bridge going over Corbin’s creek. Nice water fall to see there. If you keeping down the trail about 2-3 miles you will come to bad creek. From there you can also hike to the lower falls.
Very nice trail. Just remember you have to hike back a up the steep hill you started with. Nice day hike one or our favorite hikes.

Quick hike to a great waterfall! Worth the trip.

Loved this! Very doable even for people who are out of shape aka me

Wide path for pups and others to pass

The falls were really cool and peaceful

It was a cold day so for us this distance was perfect!

I run this loop all the time with my Jack Russell Terrier it is usually 5.5 miles from picnic area on my Garmin. Easier to navigate starting the loop from the left. Summer time weekends busy, week days not as bad, always a great run. Tends to get a few mud areas.

Easy with good views. The waterfall is really cool in the snow.

this is a must to do. a great roadside waterfall. only a few minutes to walk to the bottom for a nice dip or to get some great photos. i went late September when school was back in. i would assume all summer there would be a lot of people. still a must see and cant under stand why anybody would give this fall less than 5 stars

Not much water, but you can walk behind the falls. Very easy walk.

easy walk down and beautiful falls.

We hiked this on Thanksgiving... it was a beautiful day. The trail on my health app came up as 6.1 miles, maybe I looked about a lot...LOL we loved the running stream and the trails were nice.
Pretty place lots of diversity.

This trail shouldn't be rated as Hard. It's easy until the last bit down to the falls, which is steep and tiring on the way up, but not at all dangerous. This should be a moderate rating at best. It's likely the Hard rating came from going left at the fork instead of right.

There is a water crossing at the end, just before the falls. The water is only shin deep and easy to walk in most places. You can try to rock-hop your way across, but most of the rocks are slick and submerged. Best to be prepared for getting your feet wet.

Overall, great hike and amazing falls. The Oconee area and Sumter Forest have some of my favorite falls in the area.

Well maintained, easy to navigate, level trail. Trail is easy to find and well marked from the road with large parking area. The loop is 5.3 miles, according to sign at start of the trail. Could easily take dogs or kids!
