Love this entire park!

Good hike, not too long or too short and a great view of Denver and Red Rocks

This is an easy hike with stairs. Optional rock scramble, on a piece of interestingly varied geology. At this time of year the scrub oak bears a hearty crop of plastic bags, flapping and lifeless. The omnipresent sights and sound of traffic and parked cars and little boxes made of ticky tacky smothered the natural beauty of this place. Recommended if you're a tourist. If you're a traveler, skip it.

Quick easy trail with great views. Take the Lyons lookout side trail- definitely worth it!

Did this trail a week ago for the first time and enjoyed it. Very relaxing and scenic

easy trail, family friendly. some small snow spots in the shade, easily avoidable. would like to explore the trail network around this one a bit more.

pretty scenary but nothing exceptional. moderately challenging trails. good amount of trails to close from.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars was because there was a wait to get into the park. They do not allow you in if the park is full. You shouldn’t have to worry about this on a weekday. If you’re looking for an easy walk with beautiful views this is a great trail. No dogs allowed. $7.00 to enter the park, but they accept cards (It’s worth it). There is a visitor center with bathrooms and picnic tables. You’re going to follow the fountain valley trail, Lyons overlook will be on the left. It’s a short hike to an amazing view. If you’re looking for something longer you can follow the loop all the back to the parking lot.

Quick easy hike and a good view of Denver :)

This is a really nice hike. Good length for a quick get away not too far from Denver. Views were beautiful but nothing that will take your breath away. Would be a great trail running trail if you can find a time when there aren’t many people around.

Great views of the Front Range and Denver including Res Rocks. This is a must hike!

A pretty nice walk through meadows and forest. No snow or mud. Just sandy trails. A great way to wear out the pups!

Very fun short trail the steps are a killer once you hit about 100 our whole family does it and really enjoys the time

Great trails, nice views. Good balance of hills and flats, woodlands and Meadows. Saw a couple elk and few deer. Very few people for a Saturday afternoon.

Great hike! Just be aware that there are some icy spots right now especially one area at about the mid point of Ravens Roost. The kids enjoyed sliding down it.

Nice trail with a spectacular view at Lyons Overlook. Icy as of 1/28 so bring crampons.

A lot of choices for trails, great views, very dog friendly. I keep going back.

A great little hike to get your blood pumping. Trails are still snow packed and muddy in exposed areas. Nothing too bad anywhere. Several areas to stop and enjoy a sandwich or granola bar with a view.

Dog owners seemed relaxed; responsibly leashing dogs when near other folks.

We went on a family hike with our 6 year old. She complained on the way there but really enjoyed it once we got onto the trail. We saw several mile deer along the side of the trail. Great views from the Lyons Overlook.

Short and easy hike, great for young kids, nice views.

3 stars for hiking, maybe 5 for horseback. It is a very nice trail, just not appropriate for hiking. Best for Horseback, trail running, or taking the kids for a stroll. Very crowded

Good juice for the squeeze here. Great views of the red rocks and down toward Denver. Great overlooks are worth the detour with the one on the trail giving the best view as u are perched above the red rocks. Great spot for a picnic. Suggest doing loop in reverse — go left at the first Fork — that way u can hit the overlook toward the end!

Love our State Park pass so we can visit often. Parking on weekend limited. Several tables by visitor's center where we enjoyed a picnic. Charming homestead on route which has not been open when we are there, but interesting nevertheless. It is so nice to be able to have a relaxing walk without having bikes zoom by, or having to watch for dog poop!

Awesome scenery but very busy on the weekends but if you’re ready for that enjoy the wonderful walk so close to town!

Beautiful little trail not far from downtown Denver.

This was a beautiful winter hike! It was pretty icy in a couple spots, but besides that it was relatively easy with great views.

This trail is so lame. If you want anything resembling a challenge, stay away. Views are average and too heavily trafficked. Find better trails.

This one was fun! We saw some kids climbing up the rocks to the very top, so we followed. It was well worth it! To get to the very top you have to climb some rocks. It wasn’t as hard as it looked, but may be a little scary for people afraid of heights and a little difficult for the elderly. Overall it was great!
