To Do Map

Overall a relatively easy and enjoyable trail - a nice mix of walking through forest and walking around the lake. As other reviewers said, trails are NOT well marked and we took the wrong path a few times. I would rate this as an easy hike -- maybe "moderate" due to the confusing trail markers - but good trail to bring along young kids, beginner hikers, etc.

Beautiful trail. One side of the creek had a lot more terrain and was good for a workout hike. Would 100% recommend

We did the Yellow Trail instead last weekend and it was so much fun! Some parts were a little flooded from the rain the previous day, but there was always a little trail to walk around those areas. I can’t wait to do this trail again! I loved the little boardwalk parts while walking through the woods. And the beach area was beautiful!

Best horseback riding

A vey nice mini-hike. More of a comfortable walk with some added beauty. Although, I'm a bit spoiled having been raised in the Cascade Mountain Range. Interesting marshes and bird of prey nests. The water of the bay, though. how disappointing.

Beautiful place to walk with the family. Very easy and well groomed paths. Nature center is a great bonus too.

An abundance of historical value while walking with my wife and two schnauzers.

Unsure if the leave or poorly marked Trail was the reason, but we may have got a little of trail (aka lost) but it was terrible! Lot of nice views, friendly hikers helped point us in the correct direction. All and all a good day! Only advice is pay attention to the trail markers!!

Great trail and really surprising that this is in the city. It's good for a leisurely walk, running, or biking. You can take smaller trails that are off of the main path if you want a more challenging hike.

Wish they had a bike rental store in this location. Would really inspire people to experiment the great outdoors and spectate this extraordinary historical sight.

No bugs Nov 1 and the foliage was lovely

Short relaxing course that can be completed in 30 ~ 40 min. We, my wife and I, took the dogs out at 5:00 and finished at 6:21.

This park is a great place if you go at the right time of the year. Mid-fall to late spring is the best time to go. Summer months are brutal with bugs and ticks. You can spend hours on all the trails observing wildlife. You are far enough off the road that nature is all you hear. Being local I take my dog there a lot in the off season

Fun trail for a walkabout - the foliage is so dense that you don't really get any "views" but that's not what its there for.

crossing the bridge and through the baseball field will get you 7 mile

Great park, good trails. Some construction happening on the one road so part of the Red trail is blocked but there are good work arounds.

Trail not marked very well. Still a nice trail especially along the water.

Very overgrown and lots of bugs but very beautiful! We had some trouble finding the 4 mile loop trail.

The entrance was nice but that didn't last long. Once we reached the bogs we were attacked by horse flies even with deep woods bug repellent. They didn't seem to leave us alone, so we had to leave early. The scenery was also ruined by boats and homes all around the park with noise pollution throughout. Not to place to go if you want to experience nature, the worst trail I've been to.

We just spotted two baby bears!! And mommy bear may be around!! Carry Bear Spray!!

Took my Dalmatian and had a good long stroll through history.

Very easy and marked well.

Improperly marked trails that changed colors without warning, really narrow trails with brush overgrowing, crawling with mosquitoes, and not a lot of sights to see. Wasn't a fan.

Great trail for a beginner mountain biker. Some parts are tricky but short

Good beginners trail. Enjoyed the walk. Three hours with nature!!!!

Great hike, devils pool is refreshing.....but rocks are very slippery! Hardly any restrooms though

Very well marked, not crowded, nice view of the water. Highly recommended!

went Friday July 20 around 6pm. the weather was perfect and the bugs we're not bad at all. we made it to the beach from the parking lot which is about a mile, the walk there I always find is harder than the walk back. it's worth it to me I let my dogs walk on the beach and go in the water it's a beautiful area. buts didn't start to get bad until around 7;30 pm when we were almost back to the parking lot the bugs got bad. I love this place I take my friends, family, and dogs here whenever I get the chance

WAYYY too many bugs. Only got a mile down before we couldn’t take it any longer and left. Will try again in the fall time.

It is a good trial did it with my family any bike works and it was a breeze but the kids had some trouble going up the hills
