Technical but short hike. Nice fall at the end. A lot of climbers out today!

Fun hike with a great view at Signal Point! We loved seeing the bridges, creeks, and boulders throughout the route. There were many rocks and tree roots to traverse along the trail. Watch trail signs as some of the trails seem to cross at certain points. We definitely enjoyed this hike!

Good trail some parts get a little backed up with traffic. Get ready to climb rocks, decent physical challenge not too bad or exhausting.

so, we totally went off trail. Trekked up river, swam, slipped, fell. great little spots to just sit and picnic. Second time here. kids love it, especially when they lead!

Lots of trash during the hike and the trailhead was kind of hard to find. Also, the interstate goes right along the trail so you get those noises the whole time. But, overall it was a great hike, and the views are rewarding!! We hiked during the rain and it was nice as trees provided coverage.

It was a nice, short, difficult hike if that's what you're looking for. Personally I didn't think the hard work getting there was worth the view at the end, but to each their own.

Great little hike lots of swimming holes and a little bit of a incline , great view the only sad thing is there is sooooo much trash every where and it doesn’t seem like the park is well cared for. Always super upsetting . But would def do this hike again- just next time bring some trash bags.

The hike was 2.2 miles but felt like forever! The beginning of the trial was alright but then it got boring. Also the end result wasn’t really worth the hike in the first place. My friends and I went on August 2nd and in result to that one of them got Rocky Mountain spotty fever,( which is deadly if not caught early). We all got ate up my several seed ticks. It’s not a terrible trail but I won’t be going back.

Steady incline down on the way in makes for an increased difficulty on the way out. Not too bad even for inexperienced hikers, however the trail markers were tough to spot toward the end when the trail became less obvious. Following the sound of the waterfall proved more useful. A few spots where sure footing was not guaranteed.

Great place for flowers!

love the views and cliffs. much wild life

Very pleasant, easy walk. Temperature was in the High 70’s and clear sky. Trail is very easy and only had a total elevation gain of about 700’. Half of the hike is along a beautiful creek. The highlight of our hike was a swim where a small stream cascades into river. Hannah saw a baby snake....

my family and I had a magnificent time. wonderful views at the bridge. take plenty of water it gets hot. I wouldn't call the trail easy either. would love to do it again sometime but I want to try some other trails in the area first.

Fantastic trail. Started at Seaton Creek. I worked my way south down he MRT. Fantastic views from not only the river banks and overlooks, but inside the forests as well. Fairly rugged terrain, so I recommend a sturdy set of shoes. Also great spots to stop and swim in the river. On the MRT side, campsite 8b is the best. It backs up to the river for easy access to the water, plenty of space, and great shade.

My favorite hike! Beautiful views, challenging but awesome! Takes you to other connecting trails if you want longer hikes.

Nice trail with exposed tree roots and rocks - very interesting and beautiful. Scenic views of the lake. On the way back to the parking lot we came upon some deer. Recommend!

Start off on the North Country Trail with fresh legs as it’s a bit hilly depending on where you start. We got caught in a monster thunderstorm that ripped the rain fly off of our tent the first night...definitely made for a wet finish. But a great hike for anyone of any skill level.

If you follow this map, you hit Princess Falls about halfway through. If you continue to follow it, it ends at Lick Creek Falls. You actually get three waterfalls on this trail counting the small Julia Lynn Falls.

NO HIKING , NO RUNNING
Mountain Biking only.
You will get hurt if you are hiking and running and will be responsible for accident and damages to bikers property.
Nice rock garden!
Helicopter Landing pad for bad accidents.

Great hike if living in the Nashville area. I enjoy it because it's easily accessible after a day at the office and can get some good incline along with miles without it being too far outside the city. I recommend bringing hiking poles. There are some steep areas and the poles make it nice. I hiked it during dusk and you see all sorts of wildlife at that time.

As of today Trails A and B are closed but the trail to Great Falls overlook is great. It’s flat, smooth, small pebbles; easy for walking or biking. The overlook is incredible.

I underestimated this hike. We went in from the opposite end of Triple Falls, so we saw the Falls on the last part of our hike. The interstate noise is awful. I had read other reviews stating the same. But it isn’t a deterrent for the view once you reach the top. It’s gorgeous. We went in the beginning of August and it was really warm. Don’t forget to pack enough water (I quickly used up my 2L). All in all, really good hike. There is a lot of uphill once you get close to the top (duh) but it’s gradual and definitely possible. And for those of you who like to geocache, there are two on this trail.

This is a great trail. We encountered singles, couples and families - many with dogs on this gorgeous hike. It’s shaded and well marked. Just a great hike (at a steady pace with a couple of brief photo stops it took a family of four with teen boys 1 hour 50 minutes.) Parking is somewhat limited. Only a portolet - no bathroom.

It was a nice change of scenery just outside of Nashville. Lots of trail runners. The terrain is fairly rocky with occasional smooth dirt coverage. Fairly maintained trail with good shade. I found this to be a pretty strenuous hike, took 2.5 hours to complete loop taking a water break every couple miles. 6.2 miles total in and out.

loved going off trail

Needed a break from really frigid weather these past three weeks. What a delightful, well-marked/maintained trail with natural arches to see. Today, 25 Jan. 2018, was clear blue @ low 50's. Highly recommend this trail and other area trails to refresh your soul.

The coolest thing about this waterfall is you dont have to hike the trail IF you dont want to. There is a road that leads right up to the fall that goes right past it. It was November when we visited the fall so we opted to drive to it. The area is just beautiful and so is the falls!!
