make sure you take the second trail head down the road. the first will result in a 10 mile hike. we accidentally made the mistake when we went for the first time and didn't bring enough supplies.

Really enjoyed it. Took 2 of the alternate trails as well and they wound down by the water. it added some complexity but also some distance and really nice views. The waterfall is really something.

Very short but really three options for hikes, one that’s rather steep but takes you to a breathtaking overlook of the river gorge and countryside. Great if you have an hour or two, before river activities.

Very pretty, a lot of wild animals with was cool

fun hike! last time I was there we saw a massive black bear on the road

The falls are well worth the walk. It is to be noted however that the trailhead from Cumberland Falls is marked incorrectly because this is a 10.25 mile in/out instead of a 7 mile in/out.

Beautiful trail. Not crowded for Tuesday hike. We took our dogs and it seems like everyone else we saw on the trail did the same.

So pretty! Saw lots of wildlife and the kids loved it! We got out and walked at a few spots! Great if you don't like to hike but still like to see the views!

Surprisingly short and steep, with a remarkable view of the Harpeth River. imho it's too easily accessible. Would do it again if in the area.

Absolutely beautiful view. A good place to view the mountains from the ground level. We even saw a few animals, black bear, fox, turkeys, deer. A few of old houses.

This trail gives a decent workout getting to the falls as most is uphill but not too bad of a climb. There are a lot of rocks on the first part of the trail but later gets better. The falls are nice when you get to the end you have to go back the same way you came in. Overall a nice hike.

I wouldn't really consider this a "hike" but it is a beautiful destination. We had the falls all to ourselves the day we went. It was 98 degrees that day and we were very comfortable at the base of the falls and the water was cold. It is hard to find the Natural area. I recommend it for kids. The day we went the water only came half way up my calf but I'm sure that changes. If you want to explore in the cave or even just walk over to it, you will need your hiking boots but I recommend water shoes for the base of the falls. Its very rocky. Don't skip this experience! Enjoy Loves!

Me and my wife took this trail with our 14 week old puppy and she loved it. It wasn’t too difficult but I could see where it would be after a heavy rain.

We camped at Whittleton Campground so this was our first hike of the weekend. It was REALLY muddy! But nice! We had hiked to the arch from HWY 15 but never in this way. The sign to the Arch was little hidden and we actually hiked past but quickly got back on track. The Arch is gorgeous and a great place to take a break and explore.

Lack of trail markings can make it a little confusing. The waterfalls are great and it’s a very easy little loop.

No words for this trail. Had an amazing time.

It’s a nice little trail with some good views. Heavily trafficked with a great deal of trash around the falls. We hiked out as much trash as we could.

Nice little camp ground/ hiking and picnicking area.

For old people it’s a little difficult but we loved it!

The loop didn’t open until 10 am so unfortunately didn’t beat the crowd. Cars were bumper to bumper. A few trails off the loop were good but loop itself was not worth making the trip for. One bear so far away you couldn’t tell what it was without binoculars. Cars were too back up to get a good glimpse.

This fantastic trail offers amazing views and interesting views of rock formations, I can wait to go back after the leaves change colors. Saw the biggest rattle snake I have ever seen after climbing up a set of rock stairs, at least 5 feet long. I would not recommend children under 8 on this trail as it gets very narrow with massive drop offs toward the end.

My kids and I love biking on the greenway. It is wide enough for everyone to share, lots of places to rest, eat, and dispose of trash. Best part is the shade!! That can be crucial to outdoor family bonding in the summer heat.

Combined with the Bridges To The Past Trail you can get a good 5 mile hike. Even though it was a very hot & muggy day, we enjoyed the area and history. Trails are in good shape. Don't wander off the trails too far unless it is one of the places they want to to go see.

Great, short hike! Very cool to be able to stand on top of the arch and then see it from below. Loop trail with stairs. Fine for little ones if you hold their hand.

Beautiful views! Interesting historical buildings. Plenty of places to pullover and enjoy the view without feeling rushed. Highly recommend for an easy scenic drive.

Hiked with group of friends and all our kids. Great day hike with a nice waterfall at the end of loop. Would like to go back in winter and see the ice and snow on falls.
