One of my favorite hikes! Highly recommend!

Best view of a hike we have done. Pictures don’t do it justice.

This has to be my favorite hike yet! Such a rewarding view, so beautiful. It is rocky and has challenging footing but that's what makes it adventurous! Very steep climb if you want to go on top of the waterfall but once you get up there the view is most definitely worth it. This trail has so much to offer from some of the stone structures along the way to a few mines and neat bridges, it's a hike I would do over and over again.

One of my favorite waterfalls, and I've seen a lot! Make sure to go up this trail all the way to the falls, and go up the side of the falls. There's a little secret hidden behind.

Great little hike . Boardwalk a lot of the way . Very pretty waterfall at the end. Unfortunately flowers are not yet in bloom

Plenty of parking. Easy most of the trail with some rocky areas around the creek. Lots of water in creek after lots of rain. Very pretty. We had small dog (9lbs). Had to carry over some rocks but she walked most all. Great hike.

Great little hike and the waterfall is small but pretty. Go early so you can enjoy it alone for a while. Hike was a good change overall. I think maybe a lot of folks here didn’t do the hike noted here. This takes you through the climbers access trail which is semi well marked. I went down and around climbers at one point so I didn’t disrupt them.

This is one of my favorite hiking trails. Especially when you make it down to Rainbow Falls ;)

Not my favorite, but good trail. I like the climb back up from the damn.

Was well-maintained and easy to follow, fairly difficult at times although the waterfall was beautiful.

I loved this hike! There’s a parking lot on the right side
Of the road by the CT sign. There’s a single wooden portapotty there also if you need. The trailhead is on the left. Go to Indian Rockhouse and end up at Snoopers. It’s a fantastic hike and that view never gets old! Best sunrise in Chatta❤️

This trail has two points of entry, one is at the top and you come down through the falls or you can come up the gulch from the valley floor via the Canyon Estates entry. We already went to the falls and didn't want to subject ourselves or our dog to the 600+ steps from the top down. The trek up the valley is a pleasant 2 mile walk with various changes in elevation. The trail is wide enough for two people to hike side by side. There are some paths off the the main trail that lead to pools. It can be slippery. but your dog can have a dip to cool off. If you plan to go to the falls, please bring some boots for your dog. The grate steps and grate bridge can hurt and possibly injure their feet.

This is a great quick little hike! It’s very steep and be careful if there was fresh rain. There’s a suspension bridge you need to cross to get to the falls that many dogs don’t like and we had to carry ours across. Good swimming dogs will have no problems crossing the creek though

Something to know before you go... you must have fishing and or hunting license or a GORP Pass (Georgia Outdoor Recreational Pass) to hike this along with the pocket trail.

Unique in that you are constantly aware that you are walking through the aftermath of what water does over time. Disappointing though because it’s been so dry as of late (today’s date 9/8/2018) that the waterfalls are nothing more than dribbles, leaving the pools of water to be a bit stagnant in areas.
Very much worth your time to hike, but don’t expect to see a flowing river in this park right now.

I'll be back to search for a safe path down to the elusive Rainbow Falls.

Water holes for swimming and playing in the water were so fun! Perfect way to cool off after a long hot hike. The trail to laurel falls gets rough for the last mile or so. We took our 1 yr old dog and he was completely worn out. Our 8 year old daughter was able to make it as well. It felt like a lot longer than 2.5 miles. Cool history, it's an old coal and iron mill. Some original structures are still there. The waterfall was hard to access to play in it. Rocks around it were very slick and there were copperheads as well. Overall, it was fun but just wore us out!

Beautiful hike. Definitely steep in places. Adventured out with all 5 kids and it was appropriate for all of them ages 5-15! Take your bathing suit, the falls were gorgeous and we swam for awhile. We’ll definitely be making return trips.
Also, super clean and well marked. Big fan of this area.

Great hike with great views. The trail is marked well and very clean. Make sure to bring a swim suit. Trail is a little steep in places but the views are worth it.

Been today. Great trail. Has some jogging parts but also some steep parts as well. Very interesting

Enjoyed hiking here the Falls was lovely great spot to just hang around and go for a quick swim, also a great place to rock climb

Beautiful hike. Accidentally took the climbers loops so it was longer and more intense than I had planned but worth it. Some times a wrong turn is awesome!

Beautiful trail.. the bridge that was out going to laurel falls is back up and better than ever.. we were the first to get to cross it according to the ranger we met on the trail. I wish I could post a pic of the new bridge. Only complaint would be that it would be nice if there were signs periodically letting one know how much farther it is to the falls.

This is my "go to" hike. I have hiked all over this area. Great hike weather you go to Laurel or Snow Falls or Buzzards Point. Lots of little payoffs all through this hike. I have also camped several times near the top of Laurel falls. I have hiked it in all 4 seasons and think I like winter the best. Saw a Bobcat above the falls in July 2018, very cool.

Took this hike Sunday Aug. 19.
I went to the right and took the climbers loop. I went down onto the climbers loop at the first drop down then came up at the second. Doubled back and took the loop to the falls. The falls was worth the trip.
ended up going 3.5 miles and had an elevation climb of 800 feet total.
Word of advise, don't take the climbers loop if you aren't in good trail condition. It's a high moderate and you will climb some height.
will do this again.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in the state, in my opinion.

Don’t mind the signs, jump the fence and take a dip at your peril, the water is great! ;)

Was a nice hike to the falls, recommend going in to the right at entrance so you end at the falls. Took climbers access 2 and ended with 2.5 miles total
