Absolutely amazing! This was without a doubt the best hike in Arches, totally worth it!

Nice walk along the Virgin River that leads to the beginning of the narrows hike. Great views of the canyon floor and towering canyon walls.

Beautiful walk/hike along the Virgin river to the beginning of the Narrows. There is a paved path, and you can also leave the path and hike right next to the river (for most of the route, which we did.). We went early, and during the week, and it was less crowded. Would definitely do this again, and would be prepared with water shoes and walking sticks to hike part of the narrows!

I absolutely love this hike, did it my 16 yr old and 13 yr old , all made it to the top through much perseverance, it was tough but worth it

Gorgeous hike at Arches! We got to the trailhead around 7am and it was pretty packed, but definitely plenty of parking. There’s a giant rock to climb up so the elevation gain can be a kicker but it’s worth it. Great photo opportunity at the end but there will be tons of people in your pictures!

Didn’t get the chance to hike the whole loop since it was too late in the day, but what we did get to was beautiful. It’s located close to the campground where we stayed which was nice. It was well marked and had a gorgeous sunset.

Real nice! Started early...5:30 with a headlamp :) This is my fourth time to the top...and I'm FINALLY able to stay with 20 feet of the trail. lol I noticed the markings were more noticeable on the descent. I was moving really fast, and I made it up and down in just under 3 hours. Probably my favorite hike in the area,. Worth all the stars,

this is by far the best way to see delicate arch. well worth the moderate effort to see. great for sunset photos, but bring a flashlight or headlamp for the hike out, the trail nearest delicate arch is over rock and can be difficult to follow back in the dark

This is part of the hike to get to the actual Narrows. Nice scenery, easy paved road

Great hike continues to the narrow

Beautiful hike! Went nice and early to see the sunrise. Had the mountain ourselves!

Loved it and the history! Highly recommend it

awesome hike with fantastic views.

awesome hike and scenery. Make sure to show up early. We caught the 7:30 shuttle and were still able to park at the visitor center. Going up stream wasn’t to crowded but coming back down about 4 hours later the place was packed.

We made a quick stop with our group of 18 people. We spent most of our time by the waterfall. We hiked up the river to get to it. The children enjoyed it and the scenery was beautiful. Easy little walk.

Amazing river hike.

I’ve done this hike several times. If you go clockwise, the hike up is pretty darn difficult. View at the top is worth it! A few benches sprinkled around the trail make this a great hike. If you go early enough, you’ll have shade for at least 1/2 the hike. Don’t go later in the day when it’s hot...on the other side of the mountain it gets EXTREMELY hot and there is no shade...heat stroke is a good possibility! Go early, and enjoy it! One time we started at 9:00am in late August, and it was a very bad decision. Have taken large youth groups on this hike, and it’s doable for everyone!
There are lots of mountain bikers, particularly on a Saturday. Everyone is kind and shares the trail. Parking fills up very quickly at Wagon Wheel entrance, and costs $7.

Beautiful easy hike. I suggest going super early like we did to beat the crowds. Way too many people when we were coming back from Imlay Temple. Glad to have started earlier and hiked alone for about 2 hours.

Early in morning is best when crowds are lighter. Take the sandy trails to the left along the river, it will reconnect with main trail and is less traveled, avoiding some of the crowds.

Amazing Hike! We did 9.8 miles of it. Make sure you rent the water boots and stick. It’s well worth it and you won’t regret doing so. Many rocks and knee height water once you hike deeper into the narrows ! If you’re like me and get cold easily I do recommend a sporty light jacket or rash guard. Because deeper into the narrows the sun hides and it gets cold !

Amazing hike with some absolutely stunning views of canyons/arches. So many contrasting colors. Bring lots of water as it’s hot and dry. Some technical spots that only those with proper shoes and fitness should attempt.

This hike is very popular, so be ready for lots of people to be around. It was stunning and well worth the climb. Bring hiking boots for the climb because a significant portion of the hike is on a semi-smooth rock face. If you are afraid of heights, there is a stretch at the end of the outward portion right before the arch that has a drop on one side and a wall on the other, but it is a fairly wide path enough for at least two people walking side by side and it is a pretty short distance. The view at the top is amazing.

Great hike. We are beginners and couldn’t make it all the way to the top...elevation was the challenge for us. Great views and we will be back to try again when cooler!

Great hike, easy but felt like a good workout for me as a beginner

Challenging but worth the views!

Great hike ! views on top are amazing ! Same comment as most other reviewers:
1- in summer, start really really early and take plenty of water (I drank 1.5 gallon).
2- I got lost going up .. and coming down. This trail is really not well marked (which as other commented is disappointing since you have to pay to get in the park).
Apart from that, it is an amazing trail.

This trail is great for kids. Took my 6 yr old there and he was entertained the entire time. The rock structures are really fun (tunnels, sliding rocks, ...). We did make it a day-long picnic trip though since it is pretty long (well, with a 6 yr old ...).
Highly recommanded (but not in summer !)

Nice easy first hike of the season with Girl Take a Hike! 40 plus Women!!!

Everything I wanted. We went early afternoon and it was way too hot but cooled down perfectly once the sun went behind the hills. So go either early morning or mid afternoon. It is gorgeous and fun climbing around on the top.

Great hike that is challenging but doable. As previously noted...start early. We started at 6:15 am and there was already a group at the first Arch. The number of people thinned out quickly after that as the trail picks up from a nice stroll to a bit of scrambling. We did it clockwise and finished in 4.5 hrs. We are both 67.
