Nice! Great little fall hike.

Beautiful but not as long as I would have liked.

awsome views of the valley!

Perfect for an afternoon hike!

a little steep but completely doable and only 1/4 of a mile.

Wow!!! This is an incredible hike! Waterfalls, a creek, the lake and stunning views along the way. I didn’t use trekking poles but saw many who did. Moderate hike. I will definitely hike this trail again. Bring plenty of water.

Good partial day hike, took about 2.5 hours to do the loop. Perfect to wear the dogs out and make sure I get a goodnight sleep as well. There were quite a few people but it was also Labor Day. The road there is mostly paved and gravel in some spots, any car could easily get out there tho. I think it would be perfect for kids as well, maybe plan a little more time tho.

Trail unsustainable, crowded parking lot. Not sure where the day use fees go. Graffiti everywhere, used tampon sitting in the middle of the hot spring. All in all nature ruined by humans.

Easy-moderate (only because of this incline) well paved hike/ trail!

Flat trail and amazing falls!! Turn right at the start of the trail head and follow the blue diamonds.

Great hike, lots of places to take breaks along the way. We weren't going fast but reached the lakes in 2.5 hours with one break about half way. Trail is in excellent shape and was lightly travelled on a Friday. Had an excellent lunch on the NE side of the lake. There is NOT a trail all the way around, it looks like there is one but it runs out shortly after it separates from the one that goes on. There is a small trail that is right along the lake on the SE/E side, it is not that easy because of the mud and the climb up to the trail above in gravel(25 feet, using a fallen tree). Overall, will definitely hike it again and throughly enjoyed it!!

Trail is not marked except for a small sign on a tree. It's easy to go the wrong way when trying to hike down to the parking lot. Clothing is optional there so beware if you don't want to see naked people.
There are at least 9 pools each ranging from very hot to luke warm. One pool is near the river. The 4th pool up is my favorite. It has a great view of the gorge and river.
The incline on the hike is 1,000 ft long. There are rocky areas. There is hand rail on the area that has difficult footing.
I highly recommend seeing Tokepee Falls just 3 miles from the hot springs.

I've seen many waterfalls. This waterfall is my favorite. It's so beautiful .

A hike that included a little bit of everything...a creek, waterfalls, mountain peaks, lava flow, flowers, and a beautiful lake. Not too strenuous in terms of steepness. I would consider a moderate hike only due to length of trail. It took me about 3-4 hours including a 1/2 hour break at the lake. Easy trail to follow. There are a few foot bridges to cross and a couple areas to cross over streams by stepping on rocks.

greT waterfall best I think!

Hiked up on the evening of July 3 to stay through the holiday and only a handful of campsites were occupied. Mosquitoes were pretty bad - we were thankful for our head nets.

Incredible views, plenty of water the whole way. Trail is a superhighway and very well maintained.

We got to the trailhead at 6pm and there was plenty of parking - just us and a few trailrunners taking advantage of the long days to go up & back before dark. Hiking out on Friday morning we easily passed 100 people coming in; this is one of the busiest trails I've been on in Oregon. Definitely one for weekdays & evenings if possible.

Long but rewarding hike. Lots of little water falls on the way. Great views of South Sister and Broken Top.

Trail is easy to get to... no 4WD needed.. and well maintained.

I didn’t enjoyed it that much. You can’t deny the view is take breathing, but you are not able to get close to the falls, the viewpoint is really far from there. It is my understanding that another trial exists to get to the bottom, we just didn’t know where that was. The trial it’s crowded, and to be honest, I was really scared about the missing boy and probably dead by now. At one point of the trial I saw some girls getting beyond the fence limit to get some shots and selfies and they were really really close to the edges and to one of the waterfalls. So scary! A picture is not worthy, life and security first, people!

I hike National Creek Falls several times a year, it's absolutely gorgeous. A few times early in the season you can't make it to the falls because of a lot of fallen trees along the road. The trail starts above the falls and you hike down to the base of the falls. When you arrive at the base of the falls step down around the point at the bottom and you can see the rest of the falls which are obscured by a Ledge. You can cross the creek at the base of the falls and play in the water. Four years ago a lady fell and broke her leg so be careful. It is a easy hike.

great trail! worth the hike is suggest wearing hiking boots or sneakers. I wore chacos and my feet were fine just SUPER dirty at the end.
carry lots of water with you!
if you go on a warm /hot day wear swim gear so you go in the lake.

Tourist trap. Beautiful waterfalls but too crowded

All those writing about hopping the fence to go see the waterfall should know that a young man did that and apparently fell to his death today. The fences are in place for a reason....stay on the trail and view the falls from the observation area.

Great family hike. If you can climb over some rocks and loose gravel you can go straight to the base of the waterfall.

Loads of stairs, I’m no fan of the heights. If you have a fear of heights, you might want to stay off this trail. There are several other nearby waterfalls where you are on land the whole time, half of this was on the edge.

Beautiful and short hike
