This place is beautiful! I will definitely be back! The walk down was very easy! The out a little bit more as all down/ups can be. So worth the hike! It was very crowded being the height of fall foliage. The water was surprisingly not as cold as expected! Oddly, most folks including my electrical devices froze and lost power trying to take pictures of Rock Bridge?!? Can not wait to go back in warm weather! Kids are welcome if you must... I love meeting the fur babies along the way(psst bring the doggies they’ll love it!)

Great hike, but I wouldn’t bring younger children.

great place.

Consistently one of my favorites. Variety in terrain and several nice viewpoints. Not overly difficult with plenty of spots to stop for a rest.

There is an easy way and a hard way. To take the easier path, you drive around the loop in the parking area to the back side. There are 2 entrances to this trail and the one in the back was WAY easier for my parents, ages 66 and 68. We brought our 3 kids. Ages 2, 7, and 10 they did great. Waterfall is fantastic. Definitely worth the hike. The water was a bit low, which was awesome because we were able to climb down and walk around in it.

Awesome, good climb.

Pretty short hike. Some boulders to climb at the end when approaching the falls. Looked beautiful today, after all the rain we had.

NOT an OFFROAD drivng trail, Hiking ONLY!

Great hike to a gorgeous little waterfall. I’d rate it somewhere between easy and moderate. Will definitely go again!

Majestic Views
Challenging trail

Great views. If camping in the valley between courthouse rock and double arch, watch for flash flooding. It’s obvious that parts of the trail would be inaccessible during rainy days. Although no rain during my stay, it was impossible to keep the fire going with everything being so damp. Great hike. I’ll return! The only complaint is that it’s definitely a popular trail, but it’s obvious why. The parking lot fills up quickly, and we had to park on the side of the road a ways down and walk to the trailhead.

near Berea Ky. Out of the way place but worth going to. The hike starts easy but gets progressively challenging especially the last little push to the waterfall. huge ice in winter, beautiful flowers in spring, safe trail, in dry weather no waterfall.

We had a good time with our 8, 5 and 3 year old. Probably will do it again soon.

Enjoyed the trail and views but it was disappointing there are no dogs allowed.

Been coming here for years. love it

The views on this backpacking trip are some of the best I've seen in The Red. You get to appreciate all its aspects from above, the climbing, the hiking, the forests, the arches, all can be found here on this well rounded trip.

My group of lady friends loved this trail! Beautiful forest views, lovely rock bridge with pool of water. Feels almost like a fairy tale walking through this landscape. Careful towards the end to not go off trail. We did and it got kinda rough and had to turn around. Look for your markers. I would do it again and I highly recommend.

trails are in awful shape

This trail was awesome! We took the white trails that branched off the red which i highly recommend and added over a mile to our total. The white trails have the really great parts! The creek was great! There were butterflies everywhere that landed on us! We saw several deer that had no fear of us at all! This is a beautiful, peaceful place.

Fun trail. Make sure to start at the trailhead on the left of the parking lot. makes the stairs not so bad. Knights Ferry trail is almost completely grown up so we didn't get to see a lot of the river.

Went with family and dog. Loved it just make sure to have good shoes with traction.

Beautiful. Very soothing once you reach the falls.

could be a really neat trail but hilljacks on horses have brutalized it.

We did this trail with our children aged 3, 6 and 9. They did great and loved it. The waterfall is gorgeous and the splash pool and creek were very to nice to wade in. Gorgeous foliage.

Very nice trail for my friend that has never hiked before

It’s a 1.5 mile loop. Very family friendly. It’s pretty easy; I’m out of shape, but I survived well and would do it again. We did find that if you enter the trail and come back out from the entrances by the bathrooms, it is easier. The other entrance to the trail has a lot of steps. We started there, and looked around and did fine. But probably would have avoided the steps because of my youngest son, had we known. We had a 3 and a 4.5 year old with us, and they did amazing. Perfect kid friendly hike! All in all, great trail and beautiful scenery!

Great short hike to a awesome waterfall. Make sure its been raining a bit prior to going fall was little slower than usual but still a beautiful place. Kids loved it as wasn't long at all.

Awesome place with beautiful nature!!!

Beautiful trail. Saw lots of deer. They weren’t even afraid of us. Perfectly marked trail and beautiful scenery. Brisk walk, nothing too strenuous. A couple of uphill spots make for a great little workout.

Very nice trail. Make sure to do the white trails as well.
