Nice trail with lots of trail fingers for exploring! My 9 and 5 year old cruised through this trail. Trail isn’t marked great but is easy to follow due to the traffic. Perfect for younger children!

I love this trail Sept -May! Once I even happened upon a geo cash by accident. It’s very pretty and it feels very safe I like biking or walking it.

Been living here in the Lawton/Fort Sill area for 6 years and while we’d been out the refuge area so many times, I’d never done a hiking trail until today. I took my 3.5 and 1 year old children with me. The 3.5 year old climbed his way up the bouldered areas and even made it down to the 40 foot hole all by himself! I carried my youngest on back and was able to climb up and down easily enough as well. It was a great first hike!

It's not well marked. But it even warns you ahead of time. I'm pretty sure I was off the trail within the first five minutes. But was a lot of fun. Looking forward to going back.

My family and I loved the cave. Would have given it a 5 star rating but admission to the caves were a bit expensive. Definitely worth the trip!

The views while walking along this ravine the trail follows was beautiful, but having no shade made this hike very difficult, especially since it was during summer. Pay close attention to the trail because the markings is a bit off and can get confusing. If you get lost just walk along the creek and you should meet back with the trail in no time.

Beautiful trail. Fairly easy trail with little elevation gain. Hiked with my grandkids, ages 12, 10 and 8, they had no difficulties. Lots of Beautiful scenery and wildlife.

Great views! The wild flowers are beautiful. Rocky in places, and lots of little streams. It was actually closer to an 8 mile hike.

This trail has a little bit of everything! This says 6 miles but it is 8 miles.

love this trail. family of 5 down to youngest 5 year old.

We enjoyed the caverns a lot. Loved the history of this particular one, thought it was very interesting and beautiful. We also did the trail above ground. It was an easy trail with some interesting scenery. Parts of it reminded my husband and I of a planet used in one of the Star Wars movies.

great trail and great for kids! my 3 yr old daughter whooped butt on this trail!

Great map to walk the full 7 miles!

I start at the RC flying field entrance- there are several “side” trails you can take- It’s a great trail for trail running.

This has been a family favorite for years- I took my 4yo grandson this weekend (we usually hike Elk Mountain together but it was full) and he loved it and did great. Bring water- not much shade on this trail and it can get toasty!

Great trail, water features and very cool rock formations.

Seester time! This is a concrete sidewalk that is over 5 miles long. We parked at Lions Park off of Howard Road. It is a nice path for hikes, joggers and bikers. There is a creek that runs beside the trail with lots of trees. There is a dog park along the way. It was fun to see the dogs playing.
Granite stones are along the path telling you what mike you are at. The trail takes you right into town so bring cash if you’d like to get a cold drink before turning around. You also see the concrete pillars where the old electronic railroad was. That’s all that’s left. Nice trail a d very easy.

The River Trail is an easy traipse along the river. Uneventful but the river is a nice companion.

The trail can be a bit rocky but nothing too extreme. Saw several bison on the trail. I can't wait to explore the other trails in the park.

Enjoyable Trail. I spent half a day on this trail and encountered 3 Longhorn and a deer. Some parts have a sudden “raise” in elevation, but i don’t see it as a problem to beginners. Trail got a little hard to read near the Lost Dam, but other than that I loved it. You can get some cool views of the mountains and the river from this trail.

Wonderful trail at a traditional park. The trail is concrete but there are short dirt trails just off the sidewalk that are fun. After a ride with the kids you can push them on a tire swing or let them run around the park.

Great trail with special scenic areas which you can spend a lot of time exploring. Recommend hiking clockwise.

Nice, fairly easy trail in a picturesque setting. The trail includes a few wooden bridges that cross parts of the lake. The best thing about this trail for us is that it's quiet and relatively isolated. Just a nice trail for burning off some stress.

Nice little trail.

as a newbie to hiking this trail kicked my butt, its a rocky terrain and my feet and ankles were done in. the scenery was beautiful. We will be back now that we've had more experience.

It's a fairly long trail along the river. We took it from our campsite to the falls and back. Not much elevation until you get to the falls. Saw some armadillos too. Bring good shoes for moist environments, otherwise risk blisters!

easy trail to hike with lots to see. Very rocky so wear good supportive shoes. My 6 year old had no problem hiking this trail. Online it says its 6 miles but the signs on the trail itself say 8 miles so not exactly sure how long it is. some parts of the trail are hard to follow and you can easily get off track if you are not careful. cant wait to go back and hike the opposite direction.
