Simple, Easy, trail for anyone to do!
Peaceful views on the lake.

Loved the winter wonderland walk today, everything was snow covered. I'd recommend Microspikes for the boots, but you can easily do it without.

Amazing and breath taking view

What a stunning view. Loved this!

Because it’s just before devils garden I feel that people skip over it, but I hiked this trail during the golden hour and everything was glowing while you walked across the flat and the views through the arch on all sides were amazing. Nothing terribly difficult but the trail continuing to tapestry arch is not marked vey well.

on Delicate Arch Trail

Great hike but quite hard for this 57 year old out of shape gal. I say just do it. I had to stop a lot on the way up-much steeper than I thought but the view of the Delicate Arch is well worth it. We went about 8:45 am and it was only 35 degrees when we started but it turned out to be a blessing because we were not overheated or overly thirsty. The trail goes along a cliff edge right at the end which was a little unnerving but I stayed close to the rock face and was fine. There were not very many people there so we were able to take lots of pics. This was one of my favorite hikes.

Very fun and certainly worth the walk. Definitely clogged with people but understandably so

Hiked 10-13-18. Hit the trailhead around 0715 with barely any cars in the upper lot we were able to find convenient parking. The trail had about six inches of hard packed snow below tree line. Once you break through tree line there was a bit more snow but still hard packed. No need for snow shoes at any point the whole ascent. We did throw on micro spikes for the last 1000 feet of ascent and they were useful but not required. Wind picked up considerably on the summit and wasn't a fun place to spend more than ten minutes. A few more snow storms and snow shoes and/or spikes would be a great idea. Plenty of people who were not prepared or dressed for the elements, this always amazes me. All told, approximately 4.5 hours to summit and return to the car.

beautiful trail. very heavy traffic but worth checking out.

The drive up was incredible. This is your traditional hard-on-the-way-up, easy-on-the-way-down hike. BUT the arch is worth any discomfort. We were pushing pretty hard due to a time crunch and finished this in 1.25hrs. However, cost $30 to get into the park and I actually enjoyed the view at Corona Arch more, which was a free hike. Still cool if you dont mind paying!

Beautiful views wherever you go! Challenging backpacking!

Beautiful day on the trail on 10/14. Lots of fresh powder came in overnight. Some areas were quite icy, but it was very manageable if you come prepared and aren't hiking in sneakers. We saw less than 10 people total during our 3 hours out. Views were limited by the snow clouds, but it was still spectacular!

Incredible view of multiple lakes and Mountain View’s, steep climb in the half mile

The hike its self is just ok, but the glimpses of aqua water make it well worth it. There is a ferry at the end of the trail that will bring you back to the parking lot. I found it hard to get info on it. It departs from the end of the trail twice a day 8:00am and 3:00pm. It was $10 cash and allowed dogs, this was the highlight of the hike for me.

Beautiful night hike to see the stars!! No problems getting up/down at night. There is a steeper rock portion going up where there’s not a clear path, but there’s so many people coming up/down that it was easy to find way. If night hiking, bring flashlight for sure! Arches is a no light park and the parking lot/surrounding area is completely black. Great for viewing stars! Just beautiful

Beautiful hike! Hike has views of Colorado River, two arches, desert & train tracks. The hike is short and sweet, but does have an area of steep rock with a ladder. If afraid of heights or unable to climb well, may not be trail for you! The top is beautiful though and I highly recommend if physically capable. Bring lots of water! Doggos everywhere and lots of places to sit around arch.

Such a fantastic hike!! Definitely chilly up at the top with wind so pack layers. Hike has ups, downs, climbing, ladders, etc so prepare if elderly or have children. There were a couple times I had trouble following the trail, but it is well marked by others with the rock towers (look for them!) This hike is so beautiful though and unlike anything I’ve seen inside the national parks. Highly recommend!! According to signs at trailhead, it’s 2.2 miles up & back (total of 4.4) versus what’s on this app. Not sure what is correct!

Beautiful trail with fun features including a ladder and a cable assisted mini rock climb. Breathtaking scenery. We went around sunset and it was stunning.

Great experience! Must do!

Amazing scenery! Unique views the whole way.

Grizzly Creek is a great hike! Peaceful with the sounds of water and beautiful scenery! We didn’t walk the whole thing so I can’t say how it ends but the first 1-2 miles in was pretty easy. Not too crowded either.

Road in and trail are in good shape. Other than 1 rotten tree down near the lake it’s a hike just about anyone can do. Can see why it’s one of the most used trails in the area. Lots of campsites and a few facilities once you get to the lake. Definitely is the flattest 1500 feet of elevation I’ve ever climbed lol. For the middle of October it was some great weather. Low 60s and lots of sun.

Easy to get to in our Toyota Tundra even after recent rain. I think you could easily get to it in an all wheel drive vehicle if you go the conventional way. You for sure need a more high clearance 4WD vehicle to take the other road.
We LOVED this hike. We passed one other person on the way out.
We didn't have a problem following the trail, and the weather was perfect mid October.
I could see how this would be a hot hike on a sunny day, as there isn't much shade.
Will do this again for sure!

Stunning views. It's rated moderate, and had it not been for the snow and ice, it might have been. Us noob hikers didn't anticipate the conditions well (it had snowed lightly a few days prior), and it was difficult. With that said, it was worth the effort and we were afforded a view that you wouldn't get during the summer. Would love to do it again sans snow.

hiked 10-13-18. started at 9:20am. trail parking was already in overflow. first part of the trail was pretty icy. I would say overall 95% of the trail was packed snow or ice. only a few sections climbing up the rocks above tree line were dry. we did not use spikes but I would say 50% of the people we saw were using them. it was possible not to use them but was slipping all the way down. we did not make it to the summit. we decided it was not worth the risk without spikes as we saw people slipping down all the way. this is also the steepest part of the trail. as we came back down the sun had turned most of the ice and snow into slush. which made the slipping and sliding even worse. we were off the trail and to the car by 2:40pm.
we saw plenty of people later in the day hiking up in tennis shoes and not prepared for a hike of this caliber. no pack, lack of water, no spikes, etc. we even gave an extra bottle of water to one who was visibly struggling about half way up the trail. also, bring sunscreen. we did not and are paying the price. face is bright red and hurting. the wind, sun and snow reflecting sunlight was brutal.
we stopped at tree line and ate lunch. it took us 1.5 hours to get there. from there to the last 1000 foot climb to the summit it took us 2 hours. if we would have done the last 1000 climb I'm guessing another hour to the summit. on the way down I was surprised at how far it really was back to tree line.
overall this is a great hike with great views but don't underestimate it either.

Beautiful. Even with deep snow, the entirety of the hike was wonderful. Moose, Steller’s Jay and lost of views. Scrambled up the frozen waterfall to Lake of Glass, but the trail disappeared into chest-deep snow. Loch Vale was lovely too. Truly, we loved it all.

Steady climb. The views half-way up exceeded the actual lake view, but it was a nice hike with some icy stairs.

First 14 for us. It was a beautiful day but there was a lot of snow on the ground. It was slippery on the way down. We got an early start and beat the crowds. The trail was well marked and easy to follow. The trail starts out very easy and starting before sunrise was great. The elevation was a factor for us near the top, but it’s a great hike.

Amazing beautiful Trail! Fantastic rock formations if you go all the way up. We will be back. Camped at
Goose Creek campground, but could have camped on the trail. Got fantastic photos!

Great 14er with some amazing views. Best as a sunrise summit.

Possibly my favorite short hike in Colorado. Please stay on the trail and out of the water so we can keep this trail open.
