Just completed this hike. And it was phenomenal! One of my favorite hikes in Sedona, debating between this and Devil's Bridge. Very well shaded trail with plenty of creek crossings. I would rate this hike moderate based off distance, but the actual hike is relatively flat. We stopped where the water was getting too deep, but you can go a lot further based from what we heard from locals. Be sure to get to the parking lot early as it does get really crowded. An absolute must do hike if you're in Sedona!

Absolutely worth it. Parked further away, and had a nice long walk before reaching the "climb" upwards.

Worth the short, quad busting ascent, and there aren't too many better places to finish in Sedona if you're looking for a great view.

Headed up on a rainy day expecting mud and trail to be a little slippery.

Always a treat! the first time I did this trail was in October and I ran it. the trail is heavily trafficked. surprisingly it wasn't too busy. Out and back 7.42 miles.

one of the best hikes of my life. best of all worlds: waterfalls, crater, summit, creek bed, and everything in between.

Super nice seven mile hike on maintained trail system. Many stream crossings and 800 foot rise hiking in.

Fern, oak, elm and pine primal rain forest setting. Inside protected wet canyon under canopy of trees.

Grapes, black berries and small apples all good to eat on the hike.

Stream crossings are slick and mossy. I witnessed several slip and falls.

Great hike. Takes about 4 hours if you don’t take breaks.

It was raining on my hike and was super nice.

Decent hike, super congested. Views are great but better ones can be found in Sedona

My kids 7 & 10 loved it, as did the adults. It’s a little intimidating at the end, but worth it! He most challenging part is the last 1/4 mile so even if you think you can’t make it, keep going!

Great trail for all ages and abilities. Plan on checking tide levels if you’re looking to take the beach trail back to the parking lot. High tide hit around noon.

great hike anytime

Favorite hike in Sedona with breathtaking views at the end. Worth it to take a high clearance 4x4 to avoid the additional walk from the parking lot to the trailhead which is easy, but rocky and somewhat boring. Fairly easy for most of the hike until the scramble to the top which requires some pretty fun climbing to the summit.

Highly recommend this beautiful hike.

Had a wonderful day exploring Sedona, including a hike up to Devil's Bridge. Absolutely breathtaking views!

Probably my favorite hike on the island. There is a back trail that bypasses the falls on the way down-it's much faster and safer than climbing down the falls. If you do the full loop going counterclockwise look for the turnoff on the right as you reapproach the final falls. It may not be accurate, but my gps always comes in around 8 miles after going from the parking lot, up the falls, around the crater, and down the back way.

Did this one in August 2015. Brutally hot weather, but otherwise great hiking conditions.

The hike up to "base camp" was spectacular - beautifully maintained trails, pleasant elevation gain, and uninterrupted views of the canyon. I would recommend that first leg of the hike to most anybody.

The actual Angel's Landing climb is a completely different beast. Between the heat, the treacherous drop-offs, and the altitude, it was an intense hour or so. The view from the point, though, is fantastic - panoramic views of the canyon and its technicolored rock walls complimented by a dozen or so California Condors circling overhead.

A very memorable experience, and a worthy member of the hiker's hall of fame.

Definitely worth the views at the end. I can get vertigo with heights and steep elevations. I almost didn't make it to the top because there is a steep rocky scramble just before you reach the bridge but a lot of people of the trail encouraged me and helped me through. Glad I did the whole thing! There are a couple of great lookouts on the way up to stop and rest. The trail signs recommend you bring 1 gallon of water, I had about 70oz and drank every drop in the heat during May. No bathrooms on the trail of course but you'll sweat it out anyway! Bathrooms are available at the parking lot. There are a couple of trails that can all lead to Devil's bridge so just be sure to remember which way you came/went. I think most of the trails lead back to the same parking lot so if all else fails just walk the ORV path back and you'll find the parking lot.

Is this open yet? I am surprised to see comments from people even this week

Devils Bridge Trail was worth the hike! It was easy to find. Google maps will lead you to the Devil Bridge Parking Lot where passenger vehicles must park. There is a road that goes to the trailhead but it is only for jeeps and buggies and other vehicle s similar to that. There is a parking lot and it was free and a few spaces when we arrived around 2pm. Not many people were there the day we went which was Thursday a weekday. The trail does not start at the parking lot. There is a dirt road which must be taken in order to reach the trailhead. This road is not difficult. It is flat and very rocky but doable. The trail head for Devils Bridge will be clearly marked. I would say 70% of the hike up is easy to moderate level. It is a slight incline with lots of rocks. Just before the bridge the trail is moderately difficult. There will be stair-like rocks that take you all the way to the Bridge. Be careful on these rocks because the sand is fine therefore making the rocks slippery. I am 21 and have not exercised in a year and am scared of heights however this trail was easier than expected and shorter than expected. We went in August so the weather was nice with partially cloudy and partially sunny. Brings lots of water. I went with four people and we each drank 3 16oz bottles.

I was extremely nervous to take this hike because of some extreme reviews. However if you are in good health and good spirit then this hike is definitely a must do! I enjoyed it and the views were worth the climb!

The ocean is my only medication!

Hiked Devil's Bridge this morning and the views are amazing! I drove to the parking area with my Subaru Outback and it was bumpier and more steep than I anticipated, I would recommend a higher clearance vehicle. Like others have mentioned get there in the morning to avoid the crowd and heat!

I do like this hike but would rather do echo.

Mentally tough but rewarding hike.

I did it today, it’s really nice but bring a lot of water with you

The view at the end his so nice, it was the best hike of my life !!!!

Awesome hike. Well marked unless you're myself on the way down. Definitely for more experienced hikers or more driven people in general. Beautiful views of wildlife and the city.

Love this hike. The views are worth it. Only downside is how busy it is at the top. People will stand in line to have their solo moment on the bridge and literally just make people wait until their 50 spread photo shoot is over. Unless you're like me and you walk across the bridge to sit at the end of it, out of their picture. Sorry, not sorry.

Very easy to get off the main trail! We were off track for about 30 minutes. If you ever question “is this the trail?” You’re not on it!! The main trail is about 3 ft wide the whole way. Pretty easy to cross the creek - need some balance at some parts. Would recommend wearing hiking boots and bring plenty of water!

Great for a quick cardio sesh with some very nice views at the top.

Hard hike but worth every minute!

Probably the best hike in Oahu in terms of difficulty, beautiful scenery, semi-challenging rock climbing sections, and then the viewpoint from the first peak. We made it to the second peak, but decided not to go all the way to the third peak due to the sketchiness of the ropes on the backside of the second peak. Nonetheless, it was simply beautiful from the top! Highly recommended! Hope the weather is in your favor!
