Epic views great swimming in the big lake. Will visit again.

We walked to Pen-y-fan in about 3 hours in the evening and then spent the night up there in bivvys. Saw loads of shooting stars. We trekked back around the next morning it took us about 2hours. This route is an amazing way to see some amazing vistas. The climbs are challenging but there's no rush! All the trails are along the top of mountain ridges with some lush water features. Only about 2k at the end on a road back to the carpark.

Fantastic views. Exposed in extreme weather. Very hot today. Please can you correct the name of the walk. It should be Llyn.

Fabulous walk with stunning views over many miles. Worth it!

Views from this walk were utterly stunning, but was hard work! I walked anti-clockwise, so while the ascents were steep, it meant you finished walking predominantly down hill. Route map was also a little tricky to follow at times. Otherwise, utterly brilliant walk!

Great walk. Not for the faith hearted, will raise the heartrate. Lovely views. takes about 5 and a half hours with stops for photos!

I really enjoyed this walk. I’m not sure how accurate the map is but you take a steep climb up Craig ddu ridge, follow the ridge up to corn du, pen y fan then down Jacobs ladder. You will then have two more climbs-up to the top of the crybin then fan y big.

My wife and I walked this less than a month ago and the weather was good with a little wind at the highest points we walk penyfan etc regularly so although it was said to be a 4-6 hour walk (depending on your ability) we comfortably walked it in 4,1/2 hours although I'm sure in worse weather it would be more like 5 hours very good views would highly recommend this trail

great walk breathtaking views Easter Friday weather was great

Its not easy, but its worth it! stunning views wherever you look.

Short walk up to Llyn y fan fair and back starting from the old road from abercrave to trecastle

lovely trail with fantastic views, well worth the effort

Absolutely breathtaking views.. very windy up top and snowed on the way back down.. so picturesque I would recommend it highly

as long as you are prepared for the worst weather conditions and stay on the main tracks and off the ridge if very windy and poor visibility this is a good challenging hike and circuit route.

Poor visibility due to weather conditions in Feb but great trail, testing in parts but very rewarding

We walked this route in reverse due to weather forecast. it's a very hard route if you are not good at climbing. I prefer to start the circuit at the reservoir. Early March and we had snow. Almost a white out at times.

Very scenic trail, had a lovely day. If you want to finish the whole trail make sure leave yourself plenty of daylight. Most of the path is dry and solid but there are some bits that are a little wet. You can still see snow at the side of the mountains, no snow on the paths.

Fantastic hike up a relatively steep incline to two beautiful lakes. So glad that I found found this place! God's country at it's best.
