Easy practically flat trail. Beware lots of bike riders, some are nice enough to let you know they are coming close. Busy on the weekends. Nice waterfall at the end of the trail to refresh yourself in.

Love this hike, it’s really fun for families with little kids bc it’s not too long and waters are fun to splash and swim in. Usually it’s got a nice crowd but plenty of space to spread out. Direct sunlight for most of the hike so bring water and a hat. Go during spring for the wildflowers.

Definitely a good workout and the risk is well worth the reward in the end!

Great hike at night. Plan on 8 miles down to the lower spring. Well worth it.

Not too difficult, but it is all rocks so make sure you wear good shoes!

Great short hike in a quiet setting. Paved narrow road all the way to the trailhead. I took the lower creek trail in. Creek is mostly dry and I lost the trail in a couple of spots and had to brush bash and boulder scramble. I took the upper trail on the return trip of the loop, easy to follow and open. I did not see anyone else the entire day on a Friday so it's a good solo get away with moderate elevation gain and loss.

Fun hike for any ages.

Definitely hard but still doable! Totally worth it, must get in the springs & go to the lake. So beautiful & relaxing before the hike back

Awesome !!! It’s a 3hrs to get all the way down to the lake and another 3 hrs back ... 8 miles in total

Excellent

Great hike for all ages! Some technical areas, bouldering, ropes in place. Heavily trafficked.

Great trail, first time bouldering! Back snacks and enough water. Gloves for climbing rocks helpful.

Went on it today was pretty easy but had a great time and saw such wonderful views

It’s unfortunate that it was so graffitied up, but it’s a nice little treasure you wouldn’t guess to be there. We saw a pack of rams on the way in which an experience in itself.

Best Hike in Las Vegas!!! Moderate-Diff Intensity Hike but VERY worth it at the end. BRING a small backpack with swim or hot tub gear and WATER & SNACKS for when you get to the end but pack light ;)

Went last week (October 2018); fun bouldering, slot canyon, springs and river access. Plus some hidden spots that are fun to find.

I did this trail starting at the Visitors center, and detoured to the summit of Monument Hill enroute. A great hike with lots of riparian oaks, tarantulas, and grassy portreros to view the entire way. Good for all skill and fitness levels.

loved it! simple yet beautiful!

Easy short hike. So much graffiti.

Love this hike. Can be super packed on the weekends so come during the week during the middle of the day. Beautiful little oasis at the bottom of the falls. Don't walk across the reeds and cattails just let nature be and respect it from a distance :)

Enjoyed the bouldering, went w/gr8 company, love that it went to the river. I'll do it at least once more and have recommended it. Sad about the the garbage but that's probably inevitable.

Amazingggggg hike. A true gem really. The canyon is beautiful. Some bigger climbs down on the trail which can be somewhat strenuous for solo hikers. The canyon can get pretty chilly this time of year through the narrows if the canyon so you may bring a jacket just in case. Beware the trails are somewhat hard to read due to no signs but you can keep track by footprints along the path. Enjoy!

Fantastic bouldering down to the Colorado. Took my wife and 10 and 13 year old boys. Fun and challenging. My wife’s current favorite hike. Well worth it. Plan on a dip in the river as well.

This was such a easy short hike. You walk along the dry river for a bit then take a little trail up into the canyon. a small section of scrambling and climbing for maybe 5 minutes. Just enough to get ur blood pumping then soon enough ur there. the waterfall is beautiful. Lots of large rocks and scenery. It's the perfect area to have a little picnic and relax..

This was a very exciting hike/rock climbing experience for me im glad I did it, it was strenuous but it’s worth it in the end,I definitely liked this one it is different from my regular hikes because it includes a lot of rock climbing but the experience is what counts so it’s something you won’t regret even if you’re a regular hiker

Two friends and I completed this yesterday 10/13/2018. I was not really prepared for the physical side, but this was such an amazing experience. The gorgeous canyon views and hot springs make it worth while!

One of the most unique hikes I’ve ever done. Great views. Pretty easy if your a rock climber. I’d put myself as a moderate rock climber and thought the hike to be easy but I wouldn’t recommend to people who have no rock climbing experience. Fairly strenuous if the temps are hot.

You’ll start off walking along the wide dry river rock, but stay to the left side of the valley. It’s about a 25 min walk until to start the trail uphill. It’s not long until you reach the top waterfall, if you can overlook the vast amount of graffiti on the rocks and trees during the hike, it’s a pretty cool site to see the water falling off the side of the cliff running down the wall when you reach the top!

This is an amazing, beautiful hike. By far our favorite of the many trails we’ve hiked. That being said, it is somewhat difficult and more strenuous than any I’ve hiked. Bring plenty of water, and wear a good comfortable shoe with good grips. The rocks are slippery when your shoes are wet. There are ropes in place to get you down the difficult areas, they will require plenty of upper body strength to get back up.

Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the hot springs as well as the cool river. It gets dark early, bring a flashlight just in case. We ended up hiking the last mile out after sunset. I wouldn’t recommend hiking alone as some areas require a team effort. Bring snacks containing sodium and potassium to avoid leg cramps.

Enjoy. We are already looking forward to a return hike.
