Small park. Not much here.. can pet the animals running around

Not too challenging! Beautiful views!

Lovely park—you almost forget you’re in Las Vegas. Lakes, peacocks, bunnies, and historical buildings. What more do you need!? Dirt trails for mountain biking too.

Nice easy walk with dog. Not much elevation gain. Be careful of twisting an ankle, lots of rocks going up.

5 star hike, perfect hike to go with your family or amateurs hikers. Nice views at the end of the trail.

Big and nice park, you can go to bike walk, walk with your dog or just seat in the grass and spend some time. Also WiFi is avilable in the park.

Crappy trail. We enjoyed the hike but I'm not convinced you can follow this trail. We were three experienced hikers who got off this trail a few times and ended up off the trail before turning around and returning. The only highlight was coming off the trail and diverting down along the edge of the canyon on the way back.

Also, really ticked that the visitors center is behind a paid entrance.

Nice hike took my wife and I 1 hour to get to top. Great views of Vegas. My 50th birthday hike. Life is GREAT!

Neat trial heavily traveled. Just about right for my wife and I. My 50th birthday and made it to the top in 1 hour. Great view of Vegas!

Started at 2:30 and the first uphill part was hot, but then the entire afternoon in the shade. Distinct color changes along the way. Only saw 5 or 6 other people on trail.

The end left me wondering why that was the end. At the halfway point there is a spur up the little hill which might end with more satisfaction

Went through this trail head today at about 10 o’clock. The parking lot was already pretty crowded and there were plenty of hikers on the trail on the way up to the tanks just take your time and you’ll have an amazing view at the end. Plenty of spaces for you to sit and relax and enjoy the view before you head back. I was even able to see a tarantula crossing the path in front of me which was a bonus.
A Virtual Treadmill video of this hike can be seen on my YouTube Channel, copy and paste link below to watch it. Thanks.

This hike was hot, but it was beautiful! The white rock area changes as you loop around; reds, white, Joshua trees. I’m not big on desert hiking in general but am so glad I did this one. I would skip La Madre Springs, though. I only went to the spring itself, maybe it’s incredible up higher.
I started at the willow springs picnic area, trail the entire way. The only wildlife I saw were geckos and chipmunks, though did look for bighorn sheep.

well it is a park I guess. usually pretty crowded. theirs A LOT of bird crap near the water trail so treat it as a mine field. the dog park could be better, it is pretty big though.

Enjoyed the strip view

The best time is near sunset because there’s less traffic and it’s cooler. You get to enjoy a lot of nature sounds.

Did run into some young kids smoking pot, but got paranoid and left shortly after

Very good hike with endless possibilities to climb out of the canyon to get great views of the strip!!

Good neighborhood bike or hike. not heavily trafficked

Great trail. Make sure you keep going all the way to the top where there are remnants of some sort of camp (structure and fire ring). Really great views along the way. Bring lots of water.

Download the georeferenced map from the Red Rock website. It's REALLY helpful because it's hard to know where the trail goes. It's not marked at all once you get to the bouldering parts, so the map really helps if you aren't intuitive. I don't recommend this as a beginner's hike, as the rocks can be a bit challenging. It's very sunny, and the canyon walls block any breeze so the hike is HOT. The bouldering never gets TOO hard/dangerous - if it does, you've gone off path and missed the various stairs that make it easier.

This wasn't an easy hike for us (family of 4, with a 4yr old and 9yr old). Maybe we are just out of shape but I would call it moderate, not easy. It started out easy enough but then goes straight up and is more like mountain climbing. We had to stop several times and there were younger (more in-shape) hikers that were stopped as well.

The trail is also very hard to find if you don't know the area. The map will take you to a closed off gate and Little Falls isn't even listed on the newer maps. You don't know if you are on the right trail until you are halfway there. We just followed the directions written by someone else on here and finally found it after about 10 minutes of driving back and forth and searching for "stairs".

First hike in the Mojave Desert. The rock formations and views were beautiful. Don’t stop at the “tank”..... if you’re up for a short steep climb, you’ll soon find yourself on a summit overlooking Las Vegas. The trail had a bit more rock climbing and scrambling than expected for a moderate hike, although we were up for the challenge. Once you get to the rocks, markers are nonexistent and its not uncommon to be looking for the right “path” on the way out. Highly recommend!!

Not the best but not horrible. Be prepared for a mile long climb along a narrow, rocky path. The views are good but fairly fixed. Be on the lookout for the trail’s only marker which is located about 250 yards from the parking lot. Miss this and you will be headed out on White Rock Loop.

Excellent trail with lots of scrambles over beautiful sandstone rock faces. Don’t be fooled by the park description. This trail requires a good deal of climbing along rock faces and through gaps. It is also very easy to loose the trail so pay attention to where you are going and where you have been. Markers are few and far between once you start scrambling.

We went just because it was there. Loved it. A bit scrabbly at times. The view of the Strip, Fremont Street and Lake Mead was good. Must be spectacular on an extremely clear day. Take more water than you think you’ll need

Great hike with a bit of bouldering and rock scrambling. IMO not for small kids or most dogs.

Nice for a morning or evening walk ...surprisingly quiet.

Nice and short for smaller kids and dogs

I loved this place when few knew about it. Parents allow their kids to be cruel to the animals who have made this park their home, and the staff is nowhere to be found.
