Very crowded but good bang for your buck - quick out and back that can take less than 2 hours. Great view from the top!

Beautiful view when you get to the top. Definitely worth the hike.

I love this hike, but prefer to do it during the week (early) as it gets very, very busy! I never get tired of the view from the ledge.

This is an awesome loop, well-maintained. Despite the proximity to water, there were not many bugs. Lots of benches along the trail for resting. Our German shepherd loved it.

Easy trail. Plenty of parking today at 930AM. Variety of hikers. Lots of people (as is the case with the influx of people to Seattle). Outstanding view.

Not scenic until you reach the top. Good hike and the view at the top is worth it, but there are much better hiking destinations in Washington.

Such a great hike with incredible views at the top!

HEAVY TRAFFIC!!! A lot of people on this hike and a lot of novice hikers so be cautious, but pretty easy accent couple steep switch backs but all in all took an hour up and an hour down at slow easy pace! Would recommend for dates or just a quick day hike.

Very beautiful view at the top!❤️

Easy hike with way too many people. The trail was swarming with people at 7:20am on a Wednesday morning.

This is a fabulous easy hike, the last little bit before the peak was a bit burley but still a blast. This is one of my favorite hikes so far.

The bugs everyone complaining about? they are everywhere in Washington so wear bug repellent.

PLEASE keep dogs on leash, it's upsetting to get charged by unruly dogs, it concerns me for the wildlife nearby.

The road up is long and crappy but I've seen worse, go slow and use caution the rocks are sharp and I could see a tire getting popped easily.

This was my boyfriend & I’s first hike & it couldn’t have been more perfect. A moderate steep uphill hike to the beautiful breathtaking top! Some parts of the trail is tricky as this is mostly wooded & you are climbing over tree stumps and rocks- but for the most part- easy. The trail is roomy and clean. I TOTALLY recommend swimming in the lake after as it isn’t too crowded. A beautiful day hike and then a refreshing swim in the crystal clear river! Definitely doing this one again. ❤️

Awesome hike but it is very crowded and we hardly found parking spot. We came on Sunday.

Solid hike that was moderately difficult. Take breaks if you need to pace yourself but otherwise this isn’t a very challenging hike for some solid views that make it worthwhile.

enjoyed this hike

Coming from the perspective of an avid hiker this was nice walk in the park. That being said, there are some steep inclines but they're short, maybe 1/4 mile or less. Most of the hike is a very slight, 3-5% incline. Doable hike for all skill levels. However, during the steep parts there are a lot of steps so if you have bad knees it may be difficult.

Awesome hike, Awesome views of the lake. I will definitely come again!

I read the reviews before we went and knew ahead of time about the road up. Having an anxious dog who needs to see everything, the ride up was pretty brutal. But, as soon as we got on the trail itself, it was pretty easy going and the views were awesome. I cannot express enough how important it is to leash your dogs though. Even if they are well behaved, you never know what can happen with other approaching dogs/people. It is definitely better to be safe, rather than sorry.

Drive across the bridge and park in the small lot on the left. Walk back over the bridge and on the right hand side (on the other side of the guard rail) you will find a steep hill. There is a cable attached with "handles" to help you get down and back up. Head left at the bottom of the hill.
It's fairly flat unless you decide to take one of the side trails (there's what's left of an abandoned 57 or 58 Fury at the bottom of one of the side trails). Even with the dry summer we've had there was mucky mud in a few places but nothing horrible. At a certain point you will come to a Y in the trail and apparently you head left (or up) to see the old school. We accidently went the other way...oops.
Supposedly it's kid and dog friendly but you would probably have to carry them down the steep hill from the main road. Also, there are nettles if you wander off the trail (and some along side of it) so be careful.
Bring water and comfy shoes with good traction and enjoy the outdoors!

Great hike and awesome views. A bit rocky in places so make sure you have good footwear. Dropping one star because it was so popular and very busy (but, we went at about 1pm). There’s a lake nearby that’s awesome. Again, it’s really busy so get there early because parking fills up fast!

The road is very rocky and there's a lot of huge potholes. It is not advisable if your car is not fit for off-road driving. The view of the cascades and the lakes are amazing. And the fields of wildflowers were beautiful. However, the bugs were insanely ANNOYING! The bugs will constantly swirm around you and the horse fly bites stung.

The beginning of the trail is really hard to get to and very steep. Once you get on the trail it's very nice.

Because it’s an easy hike, it’s very crowded. I was there at 7:00 AM and there was a good amount of people on trail.

Went there during the week after work, it’s an easy hike but was too crowded

One of my favorite hikes. Hiked it two years ago and had to stop often. Now I’m more in shape it’s a lot easier. Good for first time hikers. The view is amazing. Be careful of the cliff some kid sadly passed away from falling off of it.

Love this trail. Signage could be better.

This has to be my favorite trail ever! This place is unmarked. The only way to find it is by seeing a large side dirt pull out. Leave your car there go through the brush until you see the train tracks. Follow the train tracks to the left. Cross the pass and you will encounter the falls. Super easy. You can climb down and find 2 other sets of falls!!!

One of the best view I’ve seen once you reach the top, it’s worth every incline and steps you take.

Awesome views! One of my favorite hikes in WA!

Beautiful views!
