Such a beautiful trail!

Easy hike more of a walk except for the stairs at the end. Beautiful falls when flowing.

By far one of the best trails in Arkansas. The trail is maintained and there are so many cool sights. Waterfalls if recent rain. River/creek runs beside the trail. Cave at the end. And more. Just do it!!

We arrived late morning...less people and more scenery for us to enjoy alone! After noon, the amount of people definitely picked up!

Great trail, falls are only when it has been raining, but hike along the creek or down the middle if no water, you won’t be disappointed.

I enjoyed this hike minus all of the people. I originally planned on hiking the glory hole but I always bring my dogs so that trail wasn’t an option. The view was beautiful and the trail was busy with large groups of people. I don’t think I’ll go back, but it was a nice experience.

Our first hike since moving back to Arkansas. Beautiful day gorgeous scenery

This trail takes you up over the hatchery. There is an overlook above the spring but really you can’t see much of the spring. Overall I wasn’t too impressed by this trail. It was a good climb however.

Did this and Lost Valley Trail. If you are in the area and only plan to do one Trail, I would suggest Hiking Lost Valley Trail. It is much better.

I drove my 2007 accord through the road and it was not bad ( you just need to drive slowly.

The falls was barely dropping!!
I would love to come to this falls after a heavy rain!

A great trail for a short little hike. We did this one in the morning before we left town and loved the scenery. Offers some neat side paths that lead up to some small caves or down to the lake.

love this trail..get to explore inside the cave with a waterfalls...nature is just magical.

Chose this trail because it was so highly reviewed. Truly don't know what everyone is raving about, must have just loved the photo opportunities it provides. Otherwise it's pretty pedestrian, real short (less than 2 hours), packed with people (to be fair, I was there labor day weekend). Not challenging

The views are totally worth it. Hike is decent but doable for all ages. Not as secluded as other trails, but a view I like any other! Very steep road to get there, recommend only a 4wd or similar vehicle. No bathrooms at the trailhead, so beware.

Amazing! Starts out simple then gets a bit more interesting quickly. Make sure you check river levels- it’s cool to see no matter what level, but you can adjust your expectations. The caves and waterfall are incredible. Great icebox to hang out in and cool down.

Good hike! We went the counter clockwise route which is the way most hikers go if you want a nice morning hike out. First part was harder than the second half due to the humidity and heat of the day we hiked in. Was only a 5 mile hike to the campsite and the seasonal stream was running was nice. My only complaint was the chiggers or oak mites were bad!

Went with a group of both experienced and beginner hikers and we had an amazing time! We "billygoated" the second half of the trail making it longer, but totally worth it! lots of amazing views. the trail is clearly marked. It was our first trail over labor day! Took us 45 minutes to get out once we hit the top with lots of breaks for the newbie. We went at sunset. would have been great to Sleep out and see the sky.

This is such an amazing Trail. I absolutely loved squat walking to get into the cave that had the hidden waterfall. Nature is so magical!

We love this trail! We take our kids out here all the time & they do great. They especially love going in the little cave, hanging out by the lake. Definitely recommend!

Loved it!!! Drove down for a day trip and saw this #1 on “All Trails” and trip advisor. Definitely should be the top trail you do first in the Ozarks. With a really moderately easy hike, the pay off is completely worth it! It’s a little slip in places but only 1.25 miles or so there which will pass by so quickly. The view and pictures are amazing. Bring a little water as it gets humid but I didn’t have any bugs. Later in the day had less crowds but roads getting in are a bit poor and there’s no cell phone reception much of the way there so plan it out first, grab a map, or set up your gps before your in the canyon valley and know your way in and out back to town so if it’s getting dark your not lost. Definitely worth it! Easy enough for beginners as long as they’re careful on rocks, still would wear hiking shoes but people were out there in sandals managing. Thanks Arkansas!

the family loved this trail. it wasnt too difficult for my 7 yr old and the area is awesome.

Going in as one of my favorites! The cliff rocks. The foliage. The lizards. The cave! The lake! It is definitely a moderate hike. Steep in places. Close to the edge in others. Loose rock, so good shoes needed. It is very worth the time tho.

The trail was well marked with easy access to the trailhead. There are plenty of trail maps but no bathrooms. The trail is very rocky and narrow making the rating of “moderate” accurate. My two children got excited for a bench at about two miles. They sat down only to realize a minute later that they were COVERED in termites! My five year old was in pure horror! We tried to finish the loop with the shortcut but after a quarter of a mile farther, we decided it was best to turn around. After returning back to the car and fully stripping their clothes, we also found three ticks on my husband and daughter. Heads up that this is not a young kid friendly hike. I wish we would’ve have gotten a chance to see the entire trail and what it has to offer. I gave it three stars because I’m sure it’s a good trial for others, but I wish I’d known it wasn’t for my family. Oh well, you live and you learn.

Great little hike. The beginning was a little boring but the falls were a spectacle to see. Also the cave was a little creepy as it was getting dark later in the evening.

Lots of stairs up front, but a great view of some rock formations and bluffs!

YES!!! This hike is a must!!! We did this hike with our 4 sons ages 6-11. They did fine. Pack water and good hiking shoes. Check out the pictures! I would suggest stopping at the cemetery on you drive in. The Whitaker’s are buried there. Kinda cool. They lived in he 1830’s.
