2.30 hours going to the top and back. Running and hiking. Nice and muddy. You must go with hiking shoes!
Awesome trail

Překrásný trek, ale dost obtížný.

Always great walking near a waterfall, listening to the roar. Parts of track could be a little slippery after rain. Need good runners/hiking shoes for this track. Well worth the effort - about an easy hour round trip with time for pics and sights.

A very scenic ride along the side of the lake. A couple of good climbs on the return to Arapuni but mostly a flat ride.

Great walk. Took a good few hours with the kids.

Great with the kids. Quite narrow in some places which the 6 year old found challenging with others coming towards her on her bike

Used this track to get to the summit. Was pretty hard graft for my first ever pack climb but I loved it. The hut at the top was beautiful. Plenty of mud.

Was a good easy walk, I took my 7 year old she loved it

I loved this walk. So many nice pplaces to stop with nice view and really easy and well looked after track.

Pretty challenging, if it’s just rained I would recommend giving it a few days or having some sturdy walking shoes as you will get muddy. Awesome views and pretty rewarding. Definently one of the more interesting day walks in nz.

Better to go by night and observe all the glow worms !

So much fun and so challenging too. Definitely need a decent level of fitness, confidence and agility for this one!

def grade 3. lots of switch backs good ride tho

Definitely my favourite and most challenging day
hike in NZ

The waterfall is beautiful! The trail is paved with crushed rock, so easy to navigate. The ancient plantlife puts you in another world.

Pretty neat falls. Well kept & marked, easy to follow track. Can get a little busy.

Bridal Veil Falls is a stunning waterfall approximately 45mins drive from Raglan. The falls are 55 metres high and the Maori name Waireinga translates to ‘leaping waters’.

Waitomo is a magical place, both underground and overground. This track passes through a continually changing variety of landscapes, both natural and transformed. From native forests, limestone formations, natural bridges and the unique networks of glow worms that can be sighted at night.

Amazing hike with killer views. A few exciting chain sections as well.

Amazing view, challenging but only takes about an hour up

Lovely place. Track steep in places but the falls are worth it. Awesome photoshoot spot

Not worth the drive

thoroughly enjoyed this track. a few fallen trees just added to the fun of the journey

Easy. Nothing hugely noteworthy. Swimming in the falls not allowed.

Amazing, took some great photos.

steep climb back up from bottom of water fall to trail

This walk is absolutely beautiful but it is no longer free. Best to check entry prices before making the trip

Went there last November. Pretty easy walk. Beautiful place.

Great hike. We went up after the rains so a lot of water coming down the trail in places but that made it fun. The view from the trig station is awesome. Hung out up there for around 30 minutes and snacked, then made our way back down. Overall a fairly easy hike.
