great trail with lots of different types of environments, pine and Moss to Marsh and oaks... pretty cool

Walked the trail with my dog even though dogs not allowed- no one said a thing, probably because it is off season. The trail was almost impossible to find in areas, possibly because of the wind and rain lately? Otherwise it’s a gorgeous and unique trial that I would definitely recommend!

lots of hunting nearby and trail dug up by dirt bikes. had to turn around about a mile in due to recent rains making the trail impassable at thT point.

Great walk through the woods to the shore of one of the biggest lakes in Maine. The views are to the west and Mt Washington can be seen on a clear day.

Loved this place! And so did my dog! It connects up with other trails. Definitely wear some good water-resistant foot gear!

There is no trailhead sign, the trails are not marked at all. Trail itself was decent, limited parking.

Beautiful, easy walk. Swimming, biking, and dog walking.

Great forest walk with a bit of variety. Colors are almost finished changing, lots of leaves on the ground. Nice crunchy walk with my dog on a hot fall day. Running water made her happy and my car nice a muddy!

Love this place! Good for the pups!! There is a geo spot out here too!! Left a note of course! ♥️

nothing too exciting, but very peaceful. nice big red maple. only saw one other couple

great hammock spot and many wildflowers

Really fun trail with lots of side trails. Dog loved it. Not too many people on a Friday afternoon.

This was a nice little walk. We brought our dog and kept her on leash. We did the loop trail and then followed the path (off trail) along the river until you get to some sort of water pumping station.

nice hike Ringo loved it.

Local favorite. My dog enjoys this walk tremendously! Absolutely beautiful in all seasons.

These reviews are for the trails them selves, not the pedestrians they come across.

*Great hike with my dog and my 6 year old daughter.

Nice, clearly marked trails. Highly recommend getting on Red Maple, you'll know when you get to "the" tree. It is, indeed, the largest red maple tree I have ever seen!!

Relaxed stroll, unique vista including old water mill.

this was actually a good day out biking. it would have been 5 stars except for the bridge crossing. first time through a group of kids were blocking the path. they had absolutely zero respect for anyone. we stopped so they could step aside and let us through. as we passed, o e of the kids grabbed the safety flag of the trailer I was pulling with my dog in it. the kid snapped the flag right in half. on the way back through, I gave the kids plenty of notice when I asked if they would step aside this time and let us pass. this time they wound up forcing my trailer, with my dog in it, over the edge of the trail into the railroad tracks. this turned into a very mouthy 13 or so year old being a complete ass. really took a lot out of what could have been a perfect day.

This was a great find, we took our 4 month old lab, he would rate it a 5 plus. We are 70 and did about half way great hike, wish there were more spots to enjoy a dip!

Fantastic! Easy to find with plenty of parking. All of the trails are clearly marked and even though it’s “1.6” miles you can easily make it longer adding more trails. We did 2.6 with the kids. Very kid friendly

beautiful scenery. trails could be marked a little better

Well marked, well maintained, with lovely trails. Waterfall trail is very pretty, even though there wasn’t much water today! Finding an old manure spreader off Maine trail was a nostalgic reminder of the farm’s history. A peaceful way to spend a couple of hours. Loved it!

no dogs allowed.

Good walk & a great view
