Saw 2 moose on trail on way back down from Blanche at 8:45am. One got a little aggressive and charged a hiker coming up the trail, but did not make contact. Whoa! Heads up!

Great little adventure. Gorgeous views

Love this hike!

we've been going here for years! never knew it was considered hard

pretty views and great trail for beginner to intermediate hikers

way to over crowned its like the pumpkin spice latte of hiking.

hiked dunnfield creek trail to sunfish pond, then back via Appalachian trail. Dunnfield very scenic. There are several creek crossings, your feet will get wet. Nice hike, lots trees, rolling creeks. Got there early, quiet. App. Trail was easy coming back. Dog friendly if they like go in water.

Went here for the first time today beautiful place. I was the only one out there and it was awesome. It’s not a easy hike I did the whole loop in about 3 hours. I had to use this app a few times because trailers are not well marked. Definitely recommend! Where proper gear it may look like a short hike it’s definitely a challenge. excited to return there in the warmer weather.

Over crowded trail.

Beautiful day on trail in the snow, handful of hikers. Spotted moose off trail, took nice photo. Hikers I bumped into reported 3 moose on trail and said a bull acted aggressive. Turned around .5 mile from top (not interested in bumping into aggressive bull so turned bag. Wore Salomon Speedcross GTX with gaiters and tights, was enough, brought poles. Did not need Microspikes, no ice, just new snow coming down today. Enjoy!

A nice walk along the river with a damn waterfall halfway through. Some parts you have to step over roots/trees but for the most part it’s fairly flat. The end section is anticlimactic, you hit a road and then turn around, but the way there is very pleasant.

Easy hike with good incline and a beautiful view. Small dog friendly

Can't get any better than this lake! Gravel road for a few miles before getting to the parking lot. Be prepared for a bumpy road. Come very early coz parking lot gets really full. We got there by 730am and lot was almost full.

One of my favorites of the Seattle Tinder pic circuit. The views at the top are so so amazing and the hike is a bit challenging.

BEAUTIFUL Hike! Worth the destination AND the journey. There are three ledge lookouts. Most people just stopped at the first before turning back. It's worth hiking another 1/4 mile or so to the next two ledges. the All Trails Topo map makes it easy to find them. I went on a Thursday. There were definitely others on the trail, but not nearly as crowded as it appears to be on the weekend. If I lived in the area, this would be a reocurring hike for me.

My family of 6 LOVED this hike so much! It was challenging and fun for all ages, but we took extra caution and went slow with our 6 year old. The kids loved playing on the rocks and we were so impressed with the waterfalls. I highly recommend this hike! Wear hiking boots for sure!

One of my favorite spots in Hocking Hills. They added a concrete wall inside of the formation to prevent you from climbing out on the edge now but you can easily hop over it. There’s an easy way there, and “difficult”. Views from here in the fall are spectacular!

Great easy scenic trail

Excellent trail, well maintained. Nice path, very gorgeous view. It was Smokey the day we completed so could have been better, but we did expect that!

Dog friendly! Several pups on the trail!

Excellent trail that is great for beginners. As other reviews state it is an extremely busy trail so try to get started as early as possible to get a good spot at the top. If you are so inclined bring a trash bag to help pick up the litter, unfortunately people leave quite a lot of trash at the top.

If you're feeling froggy when you reach the lower ledge keep hiking up another mile or so and you can get to the middle ledge, which is much less crowded and offers the same amazing views. I haven't made it to the highest ledge yet but that's the goal for next time!

Nice falls. Quite heavily frequented even during wintery weather conditions. There is no loop next to the falls (except maybe if you feel like climbing on the rocks). It definitely is an in and out trail.

Extremely beautiful trail with peaceful views and running water sound. A must do if in the area!

It was a bit crowded but well maintained and beautiful weather on the 50 degree sunny late November day.

Good trail, hiked this in the early fall to get ready for a trip to Yosemite. Waterfalls were great and was steep enough to get the heart rate up! Definitely recommended

One of the best blazed trails. The trail guide was a delight! He could tell you every detail. It was a bit muddy in some spots. Some really good views if you take the directions from the guide.

Sooo I loved this hike! I’m in my thirties.. very do-able. However, my two hiking buds were in their 60s annnd this was a bit strenuous for them. 100% recommend trekking poles for someone who isn’t as able- bodied or wants that extra support. I would describe it as light rock crawling lol ... muddy, sometimes slick. I’d say it was about 6 miles round trip. The trail was beautiful though! I just probably wouldn’t have chosen this trail if I knew it was going to be as challenging for those I was with. I’d also leave the pups at home... ours pull way too much for this one. I’ll be back better prepared :) and wear better footwear than tennis shoes.. I doubt this area is ever dry.

Easy but icy and snowy walk (spikes made it easy today), not a lot of effort but huge payoff in the view which is breathtaking

Easy hike and pretty short out and back. Definitely a different feel from Old Man's Cave gorge. The gorge is narrower and greener in my opinion. Well worth the hike and the waterfall at the end is really nice.
