We did this trail in reverse so we would have the uphill section first. Great New Year’s Day hike! Lots of friendly people along the trail.

Very enjoyable hike with my two dogs. Nice easy to follow trail through pine trees with great views of the desert floor.

Cool trail

Took the dogs with us on this hike. Although it was a little narrow in parts, we all enjoyed the walk and the beautiful scenery. Lots of other furry friends on the trail today!

This was my first active activity in years. I'm a larger feller lol. I was huffing and puffing the entire way. I had to take about 10-15 short breaks to catch my breath. My legs weren't too bad. just my stamina. It wasn't very scenic on the way to the end. Unless you turned around and took in the view of Rancho behind you. When you're almost to the end, you'll start to hear water. You'll come to a tree and see a long inclined section. Don't give up, that's the last leg. Then you're there. It's very pretty at the end. A small River and lots of trees. We went to the left of the river and rocks and hiked another 2 minutes to come to a tiny water fall. It was so relaxing. we stayed there about 10 minutes. Just enjoying the sounds. no one came up there the whole time. Once done, we decided to hike up steam through the rocks. After going up a bit and not seeing anything much different we decided to head back down. Because of being waaay out of shape (I'm 295lbs) with all of the breaks, this took about 1.5 hours to get to the end. The hike down was like 15-30 minutes. The pictures and memories my girlfriend and I got it of this was well worth the agony (1st world agony) lol.
Warning: No shade at all until the end. if doing this in summer, wear protection or you will get burned.

The main trail all the way up is full of small loose rocks. The scene and waterfall at the top was worth the walk up.

Really nice walk

Easy fun hike

Hiked this trail this past weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's an easy out and back trail with beautiful views. It was a perfect hike during this holiday season. The smell of fresh pine trees really put me in a holiday spirit. I look forward to returning to this area to try other trails.

Nice walk lots of traffic on weekends

Nice! No shade but still nice.

As the early morning sun appeared over the hazy Inland Empire, it revealed a sun-trenched day... and a golden opportunity for a rigorous hike to a peaceful waterfall!

really like this hike, just to get out of the house for a couple of hours

Nice day, lots of shade in afternoon. 2.5 hrs to Springs and back. Need decent shoes, rocky, up and down. Hiked with 4 adults 5 kids, and 2 dogs.

Love it

Great hike

Fun trail up to the falls, which we actually hiked past at first (just a teeny trickle) but beautiful ferns are growing in the little bit of water. Easy trail at first but not well marked — just follow the footprints and it’s pretty wide open so even if you lose the official trail you’ll find it again. It ends up with a bit of scrambling at the end through a gorgeous palm grove where there is great cool shade. Bring water!

Gorgeous boulders, trees and easy to boot. Great for families.

Very good workout for beginners

Great trail to walk with your kids.

Do not leave anything in your car. My car was broken into there. Someone busted out my back window. Pretty scary, especially since this is a busy trail and people always coming and going, and your car is parked among so many other cars, with many people around.

Beautiful change in scenery as you gain elevation. Went in November and a small trickle of water at the top but still pretty views. The trail has a fork with a sign pointing to the left but go to the right

Dislike. No shade. Lots of graffiti and trash.

Easy hike. Beautiful views. We made the mistake of thinking the fire road at the end would take us back close to our car...ended up adding 2 miles to the hike. Liked the hike.

If you a serious hiker - don't waste your time.
This is a trail in the backyard of some mountain houses, you will hear people in their backyards all along. The views are Ok, and it is as short as it is not challenging.

Rocky trail; beware of taking children. Absolutely beautiful and fantastic. A must see
