Awesome trail. Easy even with a toddler. Had fun with the water going today.

Awesome trail.

My adult daughter and I hiked this trail at 7 a.m. which was a perfect time. We saw families of mule deer, an owl , and a tarantula!! We also saw a javelina family on the grounds of the Marriott which was right at the trail head. Parts of this trail were flat and easy. However, much of it was very rocky and I had to concentrate on not sliding and tripping. But I am 60 and not as spry as I once was. We did not see another soul on this trail and loved the solitude. We stopped and took so many pictures it took us over 2 hours to make the loop. In addition to the wildlife, the views were gorgeous!!

Great family trail, not to difficult yet a good decent hike. Dog friendly

Trails are poorly marked. We foraged around in sand for what seemed like forever. Never found petroglyphs. Walked North and south trails. Took the sidewalk to get back to parking lot. I just couldn't kick sand around any Ionger. There's a rock bridge and some interesting rocks but, nothing to see if you've driven southern Arizona and taken in it's incredible sites. Boring.

Great quick trail. I was trying to trail run and I don't do that often, so it was a little rocky for me, but easy to walk when I needed to. Beautiful scenery and even saw a mule dear. Highly recommend.

Lovely walk in the early hours today. I recommend this one for the vistas and desert plants.

Beautiful trail. Hiked it this morning and the views were great. Make sure to have water.

Beautiful desert county. Lots of wildlife curious about the ponies.
Pretty dense and narrow in places.
Some hairy spots where I felt more comfortable to dismount my mare and lead her.

nice quick hike.

I’ve been doing this trail for 10 years never disappoints. Easy and great to take friends on.

Isolated and a great trail if you want to meditate and observe the core of the Catalina Mountains. Not sure if I went all the way to the end because I was stopped by an accumulation of rocks with no signs and no extended trail anywhere beyond that point.

Loved it here. Even in 95 degree weather

great hike with beautiful vistas

Great little trail! Took small kids and it was not bad at all. Not much traffic and beautiful views.

Very busy trail. A lot quieter during the week but easy and has water crossings very pretty.

This easy hike had some surprising, beautiful rock formations, including some places to scramble around and explore. It pretty easy, too, for our older dog to manage. I would definitely go again.

Nice hike but trail is not great. I spent most of my time looking down so as not to slip on all the loose rock and dirt so I missed much of the beauty of the area. Did see a small herd of mule deer close to the end of the trail though.

too crowded but if u take some of the side loops that show up on this map it's more scenic & fun.

Initially you will be hiking in a sandy wash area. Be on the

I hiked both the North and South trails.

South trail is where the stone bridge (seen in the photos) is located. The ramadas and toilets are also located here. The toilets are in piss-poor condition (pun intended), and the actual trail is not clearly marked. These are the reasons for my low rating.

North trail is where the petroglyphs are located. You must hike through the wash and under the overpass. The petroglyphs are on a low rock face, on the left, near the end of the wash.

Quick and easy trail with a bit of history and remnants of foundation of buildings that once stood.

This area is too crowded for my taste. Great if hiking alone, I suppose, since there are plenty of people around.
