Loved this variety of landscape and well marked trail. The bike tracks today made me smile as we followed the amazingly diverse terrain!

We had a great hike with kids during sunset. The views to the mountains are amazing from this trail.

Took my dog for a walk here today. Dog waste pickup bags are at the start of the trail. There were several filled poop bags left by people on the trail. C'mon people! Dispose of the waste you pick up rather than leaving the bag on the trail! No wonder dogs aren't welcome places!

The trail is marked with arrows. Easy footing but it is sandy. Saw several rabbits. Petroglyphs are visible and really stand out when the sun is right. It was an enjoyable, easy walk.

Love this trail for its beautiful views. Also nice that it’s short which means it doesn’t take all day!

Nice trail, just what I needed to see how my achy knee would hold up to some climbing.

Clearly marked with alot of rock scrambling

A 3yo, an out of shape 64yo wearing oxygen, and 3 young adults with a dog made parts of this hike without too much problem . Rocky in places, steep in places for me, but I had good hiking shoes and poles. We saw hikers and bikers and quite a few dogs, some of which were loose. Decent views all the way to Cabezon and south to Ladron Peak. Perfect weather for this anti-black Friday activity.

Neat trail at a neat National Monument. Lots of petroglyphs to look at. Easy walk in sand and no shade.

Easy walk without elevation gain. Lots of dogs and people along the trail as well as bicycle riders. Veer off trail to the Nature Center and learn about the surrounding vegetation. Also fun to watch the turtles in the channel.

good trail and located near a local Brewery for a nice drink afterwards

Wow what a different view of the Sandias! Beautiful. St the top you can decide to go right and explore knifes edge or left and explore another good bouldering spot. Very beautiful.

Great easy trail with lots of petroglyphs. Took my dog with me, and she enjoyed it. Make sure to take water. Unfortunately, there is a lot of vandalism and fake petroglyphs. Some are obvious, but some are harder to tell if they are fake or real. I played it safe by only taking pictures of ones I knew were real because they were in the brochure!

Nothing taxing about this trail. Weather in late October was perfect. Fall color in the cottonwood trees was spectacular. There were lots of bike riders and not too many hikers. You can take your pick of distances. Very do-able with kids and dogs (old people too)!

Nice Trail. Flat trails. Liked the petroglyphs. Saw a chipmunk.

Pretty easy trail some wildlife

We found this trail and Cave by accident. It was a nice surprise. Will defiantly stop by again when we’re in the area again.

Quite fun!

very scenic. Good views of Albuquerque area. lots of scramble but not dangerous. Go slow and enjoy!

A number of different tracks here between a stream and the Rio Grande. Choice of sand and paved trail. Excellent for running. Biking too.

Beautiful oasis between rows of houses Be careful not to touch or climb onto the petroglyphs. They are everywhere.

Should be rated moderate. As it seems to be the case with All Trails, mileage listed is shorter than actual. I recorded something closer to ~7.7 miles. I prefer to go counterclockwise on the loop.

Perfect area for a morning walk. Arrived at 7:30 out by 9:15.

Very beautiful location. Visited last on 9 Sept.18. It was closed. I was kinda disappointed to see they cut down quite a few trees etc. at the entry where you park. I really hope that is because they are going to upgrade. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
