Nice scenery. Trail really isn’t well marked, so the map is very helpful. Lightly traveled. Would go back.

Great trail for walking my dogs every day.

Great trail. Gets crowded but worth it.

Easy, wide trail with gravel. Goes along Allatoona Lake for most of the way. Quiet and pretty peaceful. Even saw a couple of deer! Really great day spent here!

This trail is great. Gorgeous views. Very well marked. The trail is all gravel except for a couple of short, wood bridges, so if you have a stroller, make sure it is made for off-roading.

good for time

create a bike only-pedestrian only lane for safer riding and walking.

It’s a pretty easy loop, with an awesome brick building. Nice for a relaxing stroll in nature!

awesome trail. had a great time with my gf and dog.

Great beginners hike or a hike with your dog. Loved it. Had quite a few beautiful lake front spots to let your dogs loose and have a blast.

It was a Sunday after some rainy days so the parking lot was pretty packed. But I wouldn't let that deter you. I don't really think it should be rated as difficult though. There were a lot of families and kids going the red trail so I took the yellow. It was ok. Only two inclines that got my heart rate up a little. I finished the yellow and took the orange. That one was nice. Gradual inclines and gradual declines. I saw only 2 people on the way out so it was much less trafficked than the yellow or red.

Nice little woodsy trail. Moderate trail traffic at 10 am of a Sunday.

Cool hiking place. End of the red trail was a little challenging because of the steep hills. However, it really worth it. After taking a lunch break, we also went for the yellow trail. Less crowded and have an awesome bridge to take a good photo.

I walk this loop 3-5 times a week primarily early in the morning when it is the least crowded. Stone Mountain is such a beautiful place if you like to run or walk. I have taken so many beautiful sun rise pictures. Just love this special place.❤️

be ready to ascend and descend some extensive trails

A completely different side of Stone Mountain Park. Get away from the crowds and enjoy the scenery. You might just forget you’re at a park.

Epic!!!! Don’t miss this incredible adventure!!!

half of the trail is on graveled road which is not fun to walk on. a portion had had a recent burn and was grown up with weeds. and there was no waterfall on the red trail which is the one marked on the map. do not recommend.

loved this park and trail for a day hike while in town for work

Poorly marked. Roads are rock:gravel. Miserable experience.

great easy trail...you can take a stroller on the trail great for kids. this trail can get pretty busy in the spring and summer months.

We have hiked up and down 2miles, then around the mountain on the Cherokee white trail. This weekend will be 4 weekends in a row. It has some good variety. 6.61miles total is a good morning workout. Then we head to Decatur for a Farm Burger. Makes a great Saturday.

You will love this mountain! Exhilarating and lots of amazing pictures! Don't miss the laser show and don't bring the family in the rain!

I doubt I would be paying to an entrance fee to ride my bike. Not worth it with so many other trails nearby

very beautiful trail in woods with lake / river view.

Beautiful walk and a wonderful place to spend a day around Atlanta.

Did something crazy and hiked every trail at Red Top one Sunday. This review will cover the entire experience. Well marked, nicely maintained, and surprisingly quiet considering how popular it is. The views were gorgeous and there is enough of a variety in the trails to really give you a workout. Great place to train for more strenuous hikes and events.

Beautiful hike with easy to follow trails, and not too many other people. I'm not sure I would call this a "Hard" trail as advertised. Although there were some steep parts, it was a very small part of this 7.5 mile trail. So don't let that designation scare you off! If I can do it, so can you!
