Great day out with just the wife. :) moderate hike. Hot day. Great overlook. A bit crowded at final fall today though. No complaints.

Fantastic hike. The roar of the large Cumberland waterfall in the front end of the hike is awesome. The second half - lots of stairs - is also very interesting. Lots of large rocks, boulders and outcroppings. Swimming hole and falls as the grand finale!

Fun. Good family hike trail.

beautiful short stroll to a lovely view up and down the river. Be aware, it can get incredibly muddy very quickly.

This is probably my most favorite place to swim. Such a beautiful and majestic waterfall. It wasn't overly crowded either!

Perfect hike for myself and my 6 year old, we loved it! We did the whole loop and it was challenging enough without being too strenuous on him. My son was able to swim in the water near the falls which made the hike extra rewarding. Any other time of year it would be too cold though, we came in August.

Great day hike trail with plenty of good overlooks into Cumberland Falls and the river. Kid friendly and beautiful waterfall at the end of the trail loop. We stop in here at least once a year.

If there hasn't been a lot of rainfall lately, the falls won't be much of a falls. In that case, it's more about the journey than the destination. There are a lot of fallen trees to go over/under, and since it is an unofficial trail it feels a bit more like you are just exploring in the woods. We hiked on a Saturday after camping nearby. We saw about a dozen other people on the trail as we went. I will probably come back sometime when there is more water flow.

Beautiful view and gorgeous waterfalls. Just wanted to get out and see what kind of trails Kentucky has before I head home. I would recommend this trail to anyone and everyone that wants to see some gorgeous scenery.

Amazing trail for myself, 14 & 9 y/o. Beautiful views and gorgeous waterfall. Perfect hike!

Trail was moderate given the massive amount of stairs! To get to the falls you have to cross the beach of boulders and sand. It was very dangerous given all the broken glass everywhere!!! The falls it self was very nice!

Pretty straight forward. Has 2 paths that run almost parallel and cross each other at times, so even while on the creek just look left or right and pick a path or hike it's entirety as a "loop". The waterfall isn't that great but I'm sure it has better days.

Did this trail this past Sunday morning. Easy to find once I got parked in the parking area by the bridge. No trail markers but was able to locate with no problem. I was worried the falls would not be running because the stream was dry. It was running but not much. Beautiful area to hike back to.

Great Trail! Highly recommend.

It was very tough hike getting back there. The trail is loaded with copperheads and rattlesnakes. The waterfall was a mere drip drop. It was not worth risking my life with all the poisonous snakes. No thanks.

Very nice trail. Pretty easy to follow. The waterfalls are not plentiful this time of year but still worth it. Watch your step our dog was bitten by a copperhead and we had to get to a vet fast.

This was an awesome hike! Be prepared, it is a tough hike due to the incline and high humidity.. Gorgeous views. Probably my favorite so far in Cumberland Falls.

We hiked to Eagle Falls yesterday—it was a great hike! Well worth it when you get to the Falls-Beautiful and refreshing! In one place you get a great view of Cumberland Falls — stunning!

Very nice hike. Not too strenuous, even with all of the steep steps. The heat index was pushing 100 today so it was a little warm for sure. We took our 2 year old son and he did pretty well. Will definitely be back.

The water falls are nice and and it is a good walk. Definitely on and off of the creek and it can be confusing at times as to where the trail goes. Traffic is going to be picking up now through the rest of the summer.

Fun, easy trail - not marked. You must cross the creek several times. The first half mile the creek was dry. Many social trails, I picked the ones of least resistance and stayed near the creek. The falls were trickling and the pool was muddy brown. My dogs had a blast and we didn't encounter anyone until the hike out.

Great hike to a swim in the falls.

Overall this trail is a pretty easy hike with the exception of some steep stairs about halfway through. There are plenty of places to hang out on the rocks near the falls which makes it a good place to have a picnic or just enjoy the views of the river

I love it¡
Good workouts!

Great view of two falls! Lots of stairs.

Throughly enjoyed hiking the trail. Didn't see anyone until we were almost back to the trailhead. From a photography standpoint, the falls is a little difficult to photograph because it is not very thick. However, there is a small set of waterfalls that are very photogenic along with the creek and the large bolders
