Super short trail. Went on a hot day, lots of bugs, and trail was super overgrown so i went home after 15 minutes of trying to find a clear path

Very easy hike and lovely. The little lake is fun for the dogs and is quite pretty. By taking some of the side trails one can add some difficulty and or distance.

Very nice and easy walk.

Nice for a quiet midday hike.

Fairly easy hike close to home and fairly short. Trail not well marked so we got lost and found ourselves paralleling Walnut Blvd before backtracking and finding the right path. A bit noisy with road noise and power equipment in use by the apartment buildings adjacent to the trail.

Easy and nice; not too muddy.

Way too muddy today. I guess that’s what you should expect when it’s been raining all week including earlier today. Slipping and sliding the whole way. I think it will be a nice hike ewith a dry “er” trail. There were some pretty big tracks in the mud, which were probably from a black bear or a very big dog or someone with a black bear footprint maker walking stick, whatever that’s called. My dog is “supposedly“ a malamute and German shepherd mix, more on the German Shepherd size and those prints were way bigger than his. At first I thought mountain lion but after a little research, visible claws is unlikely to represent a cat.

Well maintained trail, some dog poop, very little trash. Beautiful forest.

Perfect length hike for walking my dog highly recommend!!! A little muddy this time of year though

fabulously fun!

nice afternoon stroll. I usually add the 36 loop trail in also to make it a longer hike

the lake is Beautiful early morning. I usually combine other trails in with this to make it more of a workout.

good for a quick and easy trail run

So fun - quite muddy in January - but still fun.

Good walking path, lots of dogs.

Easy hike. Lots of shade, beautiful trees & ferns.

nice afternoon hike when added to calloway intensive loop also

Lot of closed trail with no signs

Beautiful views and a good workout, especially if you take the path on your right after walking past the map.

Well marked. Not many people. Lush beautiful forest.

Live right near here in one of the complexes. Beautiful forested area to hike through. Don't go in the woods at night...bums like to make camp in there. Very safe during the day time.

A lot to see from the foliage, some really neat trees. Not a lot in terms of landscape, the forest along the trail is just so dense. Well maintained and some steep segments, would make for a great run I think and I am to run it soon

Quick nice wooded area.

Was looking for an easy trail for my husband who hates hiking and for our pug who's not very active. This was a perfect and short introductory hike for them. I plan on going back for a short jog.

I love this trail! So much to see, I did the whole loop this morning and never saw another human being! They have done quite a bit of logging on the south side, reveals the gnarly old , majestic surviving individuals. I took the connector trail up to the 530, then crossed the 500 and returned down to Cronemiller Lake by the trail. Back to the car, is almost 4 miles.

OSU does a very good job maintaining this trail. It's in very good condition and well marked. However, expect a lot of other users and know that ALL dogs will be unleashed even though there are ample signs throughout indicating dogs must be leashed. Aggressive, charging dogs, one off his rocker aggressive, screaming dog owner, and bags of poop scattered throughout are reasons enough for me to say one visit is enough. Also, mtn bikers ride the hiking trails, so watch for them too. Better yet, go somewhere else. There is nothing relaxing about this place. Sorry OSU.

Loved this trail. It was difficult at some points then eased up at others to make for a good workout without annihilating my legs. The scenery was beautiful and the trails well kept. Will definitely be going back here.

11/26/16 wet slippery trail covered in leaves. Added a slight challenge, no problems. Took the longest upper loop trail from parking lot. No one around, clean. The tree fort is gone, looked like it was burned out and the tree is dead.
