great trail, but I ended up parking at Firelane 15 (about half a mile before the trailhead) because I couldn't easily find the start to this trail. I hiked Firelane 15 (blue trail on the left, on the map) until it connected to Skyline, and then just looped around from there. It took me an hour and a half hiking at a steady pace. Pretty empty (I went on a Tuesday at 3:30), and peaceful. Good signage.

Beautiful trail to walk. Mostly paved, watch out for disc golfers and bikers. Pokemon hunters will love this place. Handful of poke stops on the trail.

Beautiful trail. Definitely recommend hiking poles, it was a little slippery at some places. Watch out for a steep incline almost half way through the trail.

Great Sunday morning trail for running. Plum tree on the way was an absolute delight. Pets on the trail are fun to interact with - always tempt me to get one !!

Lovely park, picnic area, woods, water too.

Bigger than it looks. Great place for a family outing.

It's a nice loop midway down the longer Rock Creek Trail. Much of it is paved. Because of the disc golf course and other park features it is kind of crowded. The scenery is nice though for a short distance. For a longer walk (though not a hike) include the Rock Creek Trail end to end.

Enjoyed the hike.

this is my go-to trail when I need some forest time but don't have time to get out of the city. relatively quick and easy (with one steep incline section). depending on the time of year there's a nice little stream and great views.

July 20 - 22, 2018. Chose Duffy as the destination for our first backpacking trip of the season because it is relatively lower in elevation -- hoping that the mosquitoes had mostly died off at 5,000 ft. (They were only annoying for an hour or two in the evening.) Weather was perfect all weekend long- highs in the 80's and overnight lows in the upper 40's. Lakes were swimmable, even in July! Day 1, hiked in on a Friday evening and snagged one of the last campsites on Duffy. Day 2, hiked up to Mowich, Alice, Red Butte Lake, Jorn, and Bowerman. (these lakes all offer excellent camping too... each lake is unique and offers a little something different -- all are worth checking out) Day 3 hiked down to Santiam (most stunning lake view, with Three Finger Jack in the background and reflection... but a bit more worn out than other lakes) and then back out.

Beautiful summer trail. Lush, few other people. Signage not good

Come here often, it’s close to home with tons of wildlife and gorgeous scenery! It’s an easy walk and you can expand it by going from one end of the park to the other. Also a good location for pokestops and gyms, if you’re into that sort of thing!

Great hike! Minus the horse poop!

Everyday walk

It was a good little hike for my first solo with both dogs. It was moderately trafficked, especially at "intersections" of the Wildwood trail. Lots of wildflowers & berries & butterflies. Elevation could be considered moderately difficult, but not an issue for experienced hikers. Over all a very pleasant day hike.

Fun and easy little trail. Still just a few patches of snow but easily navigated. There were very few people for a Sunday which we liked.

Anybody know if there's horse trailer parking off Skyline Blvd?

On the date we traveled this trail, we used snowshoes after the first mile. Not too much blowdown. There was only one other person on the trail, and no mosquitoes. However, it's warm and the snow was melting fast. It won't be long...

We were not equipped to cross the North Santiam, so we turned back at mile 2.8. It is beautiful and lightly sloped, but this route can be busy on weekends and the trail has a spur that leads right to Big Meadow Horse Camp.

Went on a semi cloudy day and a lot of it was flooded but it was still nice. Lots a birds, frogs and other wildlife. Great for walking your dog and just getting out of the house for a nice, not too strenuous walk.

Very good trail. Horse traffic a bit of a nuisance at times. Lake is gorgeous.

The loop is lush and beautiful year round. Park is small but nice enough for a quick rest stop

Flooded during winter which means tons of bugs. Probably super cool during summer.

Good day hike!

great little loop. only saw a few other people (nice weekday in February). a bit sloppy, so definitely bring some old towels for your dog

A great trail to let the pooch run around. Not many people.

Fun with good views and not too many ppl.

Limited parking at the gate. Follow fire roads 13, 12, and 15, and return via Wildwood Trail. Well marked.
