Excellent hike for the entire family here. Likely see some people cliff jumping at Mary falls either off the rock or bridge. Great waterfalls

Great hike! Take your bear spray and camera!

Steep and tiring to start while hiking under the lift. Tough to find the trail head as well, BUT once you get through the first push, the top is stunning and the lake at the top is AMAZING! Love it!

Make sure you hike to Virginia Falls - spectacular!! Not as many people

Went in at sun point nature trail was about 6 miles round trip to Virginia falls. definitely worth the trip waterfalls all along the way. dropped in at sun point due to lack of parking at the other trail heads but still a great hike. easy for all ages took about 3 hours with short stops at the waterfalls.

It's a long hike basically straight up. You can just ATV/Dirt bike to the top if you so wish. Beautiful views and scenery. Some of the wreckage, like the motor is still under snow, best to do this hike in August of you want to see it

Did this May 27, it's an amazing hike. It's straight up, lots of scree. Worth the views at the top. Take some paper and pen to leave a message at the one peak. you can scramble down and over to the actual peak, we didn't but maybe next time.

Very fun for all ages. Pack a lunch and mosquito spray.

Easy hike to nice falls. We literally stumbled upon a deer near the trail head.

We hiked from the sub point parking lot to Baring Falls, St Mary Falls and Virginia Falls. All three were beautiful and different. The views along the way were spectacular. Bring lots of water and a camera. It is a must to go to the top of Virginia Falls!

Lots of incline, would recommend hiking boots/ footwear with lots of grip, bring a marker and a notecard to leave a little message at the desk!

We are regulars to castle mountain resort in all seasons and absolutely love this hike! The first half or so you are mounting the bottom quarter of the ski hill and so it is quite steep and exposed. Gorgeous lake at the end as well as stunning views out into the mountains across. Would highly recommend; let's get more summer traffic out at castle! :)

A good easy hike, a well traveled trail two beautiful water falls, I enjoyed the second part of the trail the most as you follow the creek up to Virginia falls, also take a plunge into the current off the rocks at St. Mary falls, (at your own risk) and if you want to extend your hike, park at Sunrift Gorge trailhead and walk an extra mile past the baring water fall and along the banks overlooking St Mary lake.

Definitely would recommend planning a trip on a day that is less windy, lots of steep areas, beautiful view

Rocky trail and very uphill. Not a super long hike but definitely not an easy one. The view at the top is well worth it tho. Take plenty of water and snacks. It gets hot when you leave the tree line

Hiked 7/5. Parked in Sun Point (lot of spaces) and hiked along lake to St Mary Falls. Pretty and easy hike. Caught shuttle back to Sun Point lot so didn’t have to do the entire hike back since had some older hikers with us. Total about 2.5 miles

Beautiful waterfalls and a relatively easy hike.

Easy hike with good views almost the whole way. Beginning isn’t too exciting. We thought we were at the end a few times but weren’t. You’ll know when you are because you’ll feel the positive ions in the air!

Beautiful easy hike. We took our family of 7, youngest is 8 years old.. we arrived at 2:00 and had to wait about 30 minutes for a parking spot but discovered afterwards that there are two other small parking lots (one in each direction) that would have worked as well. The falls are beautiful and my kids enjoyed climbing around on the rocks at Virginia falls.

The road up to the trail is very drive-able for a long distance, letting you choose how long a hike you want. Lots of ATV’s and dirt bikes on this trail.

Beautiful and easy hike. There are two great waterfalls. We saw a good sized grizzly bear just off the upper trail.

Loved this hike! It was challenging but had views in all directions the entire way up. The only thing I would caution against is bringing your dog. Sadly both of my dogs ended up with very sore pads by the end of the day. There were other dogs on the mountain as well so I would be interested to know how they made out. Other than that I would totally do this one again.

Good uphill climb most of the way but the view is spectacular and worth the climb.
About 2hrs to the plateau and another 45ins.to the top of Table Mountain.
Trail is well marked but get there early as it gets busy after10:00.
Take plenty of water and that INCLUDES water for your dog.

Just finished the hike to Virginia Falls, absolutely beautiful!

Great view. warm at the base and cool at the summit. Went up June 19 with my family.

Do not skip Virginia Falls! Standing in the mist is magical. We took kids and they said it was totally worth it. The parking lot was already mostly full at 8:15.

Beautiful hike. Lots of wildflowers on the way up. A bit windy at the top. Well worth the effort.

If you’re going to make this hike make sure you get to the very top of Virginia Falls and stand below the waterfall. The exhilarating feeling being beneath those towering falls reminds me of walking below Niagra! This trail is very heavily trafficked because it is such a easy hike. Very little elevation change except for climbing between St Mary’s and Virginia.

Me and group of 8 really wanted to try our hand at night hiking and this trail was perfect for our first time. The trail is easy to navigate so it wasn’t difficult in the dark. The destination is worth the quick hike.

We couldn't find parking at this trailhead, so we drove on to Sun Point and hiked to Baring Falls, St. Mary Falls, and the Virginia Falls. The trail was fairly level and highly trafficked, but that seems normal for the easier Glacier hikes. We at least don't worry about bears as much with lots of people around. We loved Virginia Falls and liked the access to view the falls from several different spots. Lake views are beautiful between Sun Point and St. Mary Falls thanks to a wildfire a few years ago.
