To Do Map

it is a great walk marred on slightly by two things; the signage at key points is not good(we did an extra loop) and the section at the dam wall is is very unclear and blocked locked gates. We ended up doing 14.6km instead of 11 which was ok if at little frustrating.

Amazing view, at the top,a tough hike. Take plenty of water, and a hat. Some hills are steep, and some surfaces are loose gravel, small rock surface, so be careful on the hills, especially descending.
No signage, so a GPS or compass essential.
A great hike to work those leg muscles.

Really fun to hike, i took all my gear even though i wasn’t camping to give myself a challenge, but it is longer than 19km especially if you do some of the lookouts and waterfalls which are well worth it! Take lots of water too (it was about 30°c when i hiked).

Great early morning walk on a very hot Brisbane day... a lot was shaded... there are some challenging hills to give you a work out and the views of the reservoir are lovely. Will include in our favourite walking trails.

Nice and steamy after recent rain but trail in great shape. Was amazing how often the flora changes in such a short distance. A truly visual treat.

Great short walk for both us and the kids

It was a lovely little hike this weekend. We made our way to Curtis Falls and then did the Lower Creek Circuit. It worked out being exactly 3km.

Good hike and views, hard on the knees coming down. You can do the circuit to Yabi mountain if keen enough from the top.

When people say poorly signed what they actually mean is there are literally no signs at all. However the tracks are wide and well tended, if a little steep on one side. Definitely use GPS

We walked it with the kids. It was a little slippery in places post recent rain. We loved the way the vegetation changed so suddenly, so many times. We even spotted a Lyrebird! A nice, easy Sunday walk.

A couple of big hills but plenty of bird and animal life to keep you interested plus water views throughout most of the track. Bonus cafe and animal park at the start and finish.

This track has many beautiful features. Down in the valley you have rainforest and waterfalls. Then you climb to the top of the enscarpment that has fantastic views of the whole Valley

awesome hike up to great views over Atherton township.

Poorly signed.

Would suggest beginning the walk of Light Line Rd. this is off the main road down through what appears to a driveway with a wooden fence. Take GPS or DL the map. check others comments below.

Other than that, great walk!

Nice, there are a lot of walking distances to choose from!

This trail was nice and close to the city and well maintained. Nothing too special about it. Most of the views were obstructed by trees but was good as a quick hike close to home.

Was a nice hike, did both the walking track and the shared bike/walking track and both were pretty. The creek that you pass half way through the hike was a nice surprise. Would recommend.

Great track loved the amazing changes in the vegetation but we went around the wrong way but still a good hike

The hike is long but not hard. Pretty well marked throughout.

Excellent views. Make sure you do the side trips if you can for views as they're worth it. Waterfall and cascades less so.

We did the whole thing plus most sides in 6.5hrs including leisurely lunch and short breaks. We are reasonably fit.

Good walk and not very strenuous.

Great place to get out and yet still close to the Brisbane city. There are various different walking tracks. We did a 5km walk and it was easy, but still quite nice. Also a popular place to go kayaking & mountain bike riding.

Excellent hike. Great water falls and clear ponds.

Nice easy walk with changing scenery and stunning views. Slippery when wet but no steep inclines or descents. A good circuit.

This trail has beautiful views but it is not 16.6km as indicated here. The official sign at Lamington National Park states Ships Stern as 19km but my GPS said it was more than 20km. Lots of big fallen trees so be prepared to climb and pull yourself up over them. Scary bits up high on the trail but worth it for the views.

sensational walk

medium hike.
path well marked by tire tracks and easy to follow.

We started our walk from a fenced access located on Wirrabara road heading the Marmaid Mt. Lookout. No signage, however G.Maps has it recorded for gen reference.
Follow the path heading north. The road will split, we followed the Rocky Mountain High path. You re now three hours away from the lookout.
enjoy the view.

Great and challenging walk but poorly signed throughout for knowledge on which way to turn when at crossroads. Highly recommend GPS for determining whereabouts / if you're still on the track as we took a road that looked well traversed but led off the track.

Very, very steep in places for a few hundred metres at a time.

If not poorly signed it would have earned 5 stars.

To be clear, there were no trail signs!
